Purple Stone like figure (-59 HP)(dazed)

3. Lililinda (HP 18/18)
*******************************************************************

In tandem, Amigail and Cassandra approach the dazed gargoyle and strike it before it can react. You watch as a swath of flesh gets loped off the creature's shoulder almost dropping it to the ground.

As the spell wears off the creature immediately tries to take to the sky but Cassandra anticipates this and punctures her glaive through the mid torso of the gargoyle. The wound is enough to kill the creature as it falls to the ground.

"Would you have it any other way?" Innis comments rhetorically.

"Come now, let's be delayed by this riff-raff no longer." she motions for the team to move onward.

Reaping Stone Campaign: Under Cassomir

Stepping over the dead gargoyles you safely make your way down the ledge. From what you can see the paved gray bricks head straight into the forest of fungi and mushrooms. While you take notice of other tunnels as you reach the floor it does seem that the most obvious path is to follow the gray bricks.

Entering the fungi forest you are surrounded by thick growths of carpet-like
fungus and lichen, as well as a forest of lichen-draped fungal stalks and multi-colored toadstools, some of these standing over 30 feet tall.

Roll a survival check please

Even with the growth of the carpet like fungi growth you are able to spot the gray bricks heading what Kirzon indicates is south.

The fungi growth causes the sparse glow from the underground lichen to cast many shadows. Merelda is quick to use her ioun stone torch to lead the way in addition to the light spell you place upon the others.

can you confirm who else might have light sources that you are using?

Amigail is given the gift of light from her resident spellcasters

Reaping Stone Campaign: Under Cassomir

The forest is right out of an odd tale you might have read in your younger days as you watch as rats, lizards and even some dog-sized albino swine stop and watch you before scurrying off into the darkness.

Why is it so quiet?:

Amigail: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Cassandra: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
Innis: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12

Lililinda: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
???: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (10) + 15 = 25

Kirzon shouts a warning and points a finger upwards. From the top of the tree-sized mushrooms you watch as five upright lizard leap down pouncing the surprised party below.

Kirzon is the only PC not surprised

good luck guys, Kirzon show me what you're worth!

Reaping Stone Campaign: Under Cassomir

@Merelda I don't think so. The mushroom caps block a lot of sight even with darkvision Cinder is likely traveling at your height. You are not walking out in the open nor is the fungi forest devoid of other life. It is quite likely he wouldn't see what is going up above as these lizards are predators. Also your bonus for Cinder's perception is baked into your own roll so I don't see this as being unfair it just is not ideal.

Merelda now would be the time to pull out a +1 from somewhere as my +2 bonus to you wasn't baked into the roll, so if you can find that you're good to go. can your inquisitor powers help you out? I have better things to do than die here right now.

Boros quickly moves to aid Kirzon as his old friend is clawed and raked by the lizard. The creature can flails madly with its life quickly slipping away.

From where Kirzon stands a thick fog soon begins to cover the area obscuring the vision between the party and the lizards. You hear the lizards hiss at the emergence of the mist but this only delays the lizards a moment before you hear them rush forward.

Merelda I would suggest taking a 5 ft step

Before the mist sets in Merelda understands just what these lizards are. They are from a prehistoric time likely set at the creation of Gollarion. The lizards are cave raptors very intelligent and ruthless predators.

Already experiencing firsthand their dreaded pounce these creatures are able to attack with both claws, a bite and an additional foreclaw. They are strategic in the manner which they attack a foe doing their best to flank their enemies.

@Kirzon using the move/standard action to use the wand on Innis this round makes sense.

@Lililinda due to the obscuring mist you wont be able to target those squares with your entangle.

@Cassandra you will need to roll a miss chance 50%.

You should be able to target that one. Do what you like, but you remember I gave you the summon monster scroll right? I think that is the better option since that raptor is already debuffed from both kirzon and I.

Actually Entangle is the BEST choice IMHO. It is an AOE spell not a targeted spell. There is nothing in the Blinded condition that says you can't cast area of effect spells. So why can't you cast a spell with an area effect while in a fog? Your not targeting a creature, you're targeting an area, which she just saw a moment ago. If she were throwing a fireball spell there would be no question correct? What do you say GM?

Ok, I'll go with the entangle if our GM changes their mind. If not, I'll use the scroll

Reaping Stone Campaign: Under Cassomir

@Lililinda I'd say that you still need to focus on the area and therefore be able to see it even though it is an area effect. Best way to decide is roll me a d20 ranged touch attack Lililinda vs AC12. However instead of using dex bonus you use your int bonus. Missing will cause the spell to hit a different spot.

@Innis Intimidate won't work in this situation the creature cannot clearly see you with the mist covering the area.

Cassandra lashes out with her glaive drawing a long cut across the side of the raptor.

Amigail only draws air as she attacks the raptor.

Merelda stabs with her rapier drawing blood.

Apologies for not posting sooner trying to wrap up things for end of year at work. @Cassandra entangle has a 40 ft burst radius so I had to put you in a position closer to Innis so you would not be affected

A raptor rakes its claw against Boros back just as the snake kills one of its pack. Immediately Kirzon feels the empathetic link weaken greatly with Boros. Boros is staggered

Flanked by two raptors Merelda is attacked in tandem as each raptor is able to score hit on the elf. Merelda takes 16 points. 7 from Blue. 9 from Yellow. Merelda is staggered.

The last raptor rips free from the entangling earth and hops landing in front of Cassandra. The raptor attacks but misses.

@Merelda Yes. It will make the teal raptor miss with its claw attack. So you will have 7 points left.

Like a bloody wraith Innis' unseen form drifts through the mist. So near death, her powers of illusion are wildly brought to the fore.

After Merelda lashes out with her rapier she is granted the Aegis of the Unseen and Vanishes entirely from sight.

@Merelda Roll your miss chance please. The yellow squares are the radius for the entangle. Currently the obscuring mist has covered the area

This isn’t looking good. We need help! Lililinda thinks, then remembers something. She pulls out a scroll and starts to read it, straining through the low light and mist.
