Ambush works fer me, he he. Yeah, gotta go with the flow though, see if we can find 'er first."
Selyne
As the rest talk Selyne walks a fair distance away from them, then she turns and simply raises her right arm, the one about which her whip has been wound.
With no gesture nor motion the whip uncurls itself from about her body like a living thing, the handle twisting about to resting in her fist as the end reaches out and very lightly taps
(1=Dao, 2=Tsu, 3=Reonnyn, 4=Bo 5=Ayla) 1d5 ⇒ 2
Then coils back and wraps about her lithe frame.
"We lure her to the water. Creatures are far too busy struggling as they are pulled beneath its surface to usually effectively fight back. Such an action should work well as a distraction for every one else to attack in force while I effectively become a second distraction." Her words are delivered neutrally and calmly, there is a distinct lack of empathy for the potential murder the group is about to commit.
The length of whip could easily reach ten or fifteen feet. How many of the party now feel safer sleeping under Selyne's tree perches at night?
Okay simple, creepy, Amazon native. =D

The next time will be the first time, he he ;-)

Aiiee, what the hell was that, it that a snake? Nahh it's just a whip, animated I guess.
As the whip snakes around, Reonnyn shifts slightly, allowing the whip to pass over his head, and gently touch the newly arrived druid. He thinks, He he, you lose.
"Ok, now that is settled, we need to still find her, and make sure if she's got buddies, they are otherwise occupied." He turns to Bo, "ok, since you're the expert, tell us, will she be alone?"
Db3's Narrator
"She kills the world around her. That doesn't win her many friends, even amongst the darker people of this world. She'll be alone."
He glances around.
"Who is going to be where? We should have some one on each side of the river.. Hopefully she'll be to occupied with her 'prey' to notice those in hiding."
To be clear, what river is eveyone talking about?
Reonnyn
Reonnyn looks to the native Amazonian woman, with the exciteable whip, "Eh, there is a river around here, right?"
Reonnyn
:P Isn't that what skills are for? ;)
looks over char sheet, sees no knowledge skills. thinks, That's why party members are useful, he he
He mutters, "Eh, showoff"
Db3's Narrator
"So we have the prey and the trap, so all you need now is the predator. Tsu, if you would please go get our predator?"
I'll DM NPC Tsu until she gets back, since she was picked as the prey.
Tsu nods, settles into Kiara's saddle, and leaves for the mountain. Bo wades into the river and dives under the water. A moment later, dirt and mud fly up to cloud the almost clear water, only to settle almost immediately. Bo resurfaces and grins.
"We've got a pit for her to fall into now, so she won't get out of the river easily when she figures out she's been tricked. Selyne, how many javelins do you think you'll need for the fight?"
Reonnyn
"Eh, not to be a pest here, but one thing I learned in my...travels... he he, is that no plan survives contact with the enemy. So, what will we do when this plan dies?"
Selyne
When o surfaces again,
"We've got a pit for her to fall into now, so she won't get out of the river easily when she figures out she's been tricked. Selyne, how many javelins do you think you'll need for the fight?"
Selyne frowns,
"I won't be using javelins. My hands will be full with entangling her with my whip. Plus, I can't use javelins in the water." She pulls her meager supply of such weaponry from her quiver.
"I offer my weapons for every one else to use." She says simply.
9 Javelins in all
Eh, not to be a pest here, but one thing I learned in my...travels... he he, is that no plan survives contact with the enemy. So, what will we do when this plan dies?" The halfling asks
Selyne shrugs as she begins to wade into the water, "Then perhaps we die with it?"
Okay, Selyne is now searching for the best way to get some sort of 'anchor' happening as well within the pit of river bottom. The better to gain a leverage advantage in the tug=o=war to come.
Knowledge Nature Check:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

Yeah you go right ahead and die for the plan, myself I plan to live for a while longer, he he.
Reonnyn grabs one of the javelins and experiments with it, not having a missile weapon available (at least not one he wants to reveal yet, he he). He picks up 3 of them, and holsters them to his body. "Yeah this will do nicely." He says to Selyne, giving her a wink.

Selyne stops, her head and shoulders still briefly above the rivers' water, as she looks to Reonnyn.
"Uuuuh, isn't that a little big for you?" She asks looking puzzled as the Halfling stands brandishing the human sized weapons. Still, she simply shrugs and then disappears beneath the rivers' surface.
Hee hee! Small creature wielding Medium sized weapons. Reonnyn has himself some spears! (^_^) Who's got a size issue...? (^_~)

Reonnyn will take his -2 size penalty to hit, and he will LIKE it, he he. Besides its not the size of the instrument, but the expertise of the wielder, wouldn't you say, he he.
Reonnyn
Reonnyn finds a nice bush to hide in Hide 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18 and readies an action to throw the javelin once the blighter chick gets grappled by Selyne and her magical appendages.
Selyne
Selyne readies her whip and floats just under the surface with only hr eyes and top of her head visible, waiting for Tsu and her animal companion to ford the river (Or swim) so that she can strike out at their enemy.
Um I should rather automatically have good cover, should I not?
Hmmm, there's some theme music that comes to mind for my character atm. ;)

Wondering where Dao is...
Three players I could work with, but two may prove.. difficult.
but we make such a cute couple, Selyne and I just radiate cuteness, he he. Seriously, Mark is around here somewhere...
Reonnyn
Dao climbs a tree, choosing a high vantage point from which to strike.
Hide1d20+7
LOL! Mark, what did you do???
Reonnyn
Um, should we put the call out for more players? This time perhaps with the caveat of, 'You drop, others get your stuff'. What say every one?
*does the happy dance!*
Db3's Narrator
With everyone in position, the plan starts off smothly. Tsu and Kiara get to the river bank and jump over, landing in the shallows on the other side. The blighter though, in a metal breastplate, is not as daring and casts a spell that sends a small ball of roaring flame at them, burning their backs.
Time to attack my merry band of adventurers! Then roll Initiative.
Reonnyn
Reonnyn, nicely hidden, shifts the oversized javelin, and hefts for a perfect throw. Got you now, you biotch.
Suprise attack Javelin 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27, damage 1d6 ⇒ 3
Initiative 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
Db3's Narrator
Caught off guard by Reonnyn's attack, the blighter doesn't notice Selyne's whip snaking out of the water until it's too late and she's wrapped in it. She struggled to get free, but can't.
Reonnyn hit, and Selyne grappled the blighter successfully. Dao, you can get to her in a move action, and she's at the edge of the river.

With increadible skill Dao tumbles throught the trees flipping from branch to branch to launch herself into a magnificant leap at the grappled woman
Tumble1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22
Jump1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26
Her saoring attack seems to ctch everything frozen in time a she decends both knees catching the Blighter in a brutal strike to the face.
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (4, 2) + 1 = 7
Stunnig fist DC 16 save , beginning Blinding Sun of Noon

Reonnyn stares at the leaping form of Dao with a mix of shock and excitement on his face, and watches it connect with the blighters face. Magnificent form! Glad that's not me, ouch, that looks like its gonna leave a mark, he he.
Figuring the girls have the blighter under control for now, he hefts another javelin and peers out into the undergrowth, making sure no one cathches them unawares.

Reonnyn, as he looks for other threats, bumps his head into a low covered branch.
Db3's Narrator
Sorry, sorry. just been reading my new book and going through older ones.
Though her head flys back from Dao's attack, her eyes keep clear as she tries very hard to get out of the grip of Selyne's whip. She isn't helpless though, far from it in fact, since the ball of fire she toosed at Tsu comes crackling back at Dao.
She isn't stunned, but she is still grappled. I need a Reflex save from Dao.
Reonnyn
As he turns to watch the battle in the river, Reonnyn bumps his head on that same branch. Crap, how did this branch get here?
Db3's Narrator
Finally managing to break out of the whip's embrace as Dao dodges the fiery orb. Screeching her triumph she steps away to strike Dao with a dark, sickly green ray that seems to sap her will to fight away.
Dao takes 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 points in a Strength penalty. It's almost too bad the Blighter's alone, ya know?
Reonnyn
Reonnyn, not seeing any other threats out there Right?, turns his attention back to the river fight. Man, wish I could get in there, sounds like a lot of fun. All those wet clothes...glistening with moisture...Oh wait, she broke free. OK let me be the one to save the day!
Ready action to throw javelin at the blighter, once she breaks melee combat. Attack 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27, damage 1d6 ⇒ 4
