That's cool, Beetle! This game hasn't been going for a couple years out of a lack of dedication!
Gencon was fantastic. The high points were me finally getting to play the old Middle Earth CCG with interested parties, and picking up and playing the Daybreak Expansion to Battlestar Galactica.

Hey guys, I own a small publishing company and we are trying to Kickstart a project. The campaign is going poorly so far, check out the site. If you are interested or know someone who would be please pass it along. Thanks :-)

Hey Beetle, I am one of his partners. He is a pretty good artist some of his other work is really good as well. Some up and coming artists in the comic field were his students about a decade ago, the most notable I think is Charles Wilson who draws "the Stuff of Legend".
Thanks for the bump on the site, much appreciated.

I don't know if this helps or not, but when I tried to be a backer I found that if you are outside the US you can't get any rewards, even the .pdf. I wonder if that's fixable or just a practical reality. At least you got your main market.
Hope you guys make your goal!
(Luckily you are not Rickman - I would have demanded Dune Squad character portraits forthwith)

Let's keep those turns coming in the meantime while we discuss, but is there now any interest in dropping initiative?
I feel like I should 'call the combat' in order to better keep things moving. I hate making you wait on PC's who are themselves waiting. That way if somebody has something they want to do, they can just jump in and do it.
On the other hand, if you feel its tactically disadvantageous, I'm not interested in screwing you all over. This pyramid is getting rough enough as it is. (Your kinda on the big boy levels now. . .)
Also, I think it's kinda cool that we actually have a combat approaching a round 10 - that's very rare at such a high level.

I think Denis is asking if the rescue of Lydia was a fulfillment of Donkor's divination with Pharasma, early on in the adventure (the rhyme).
I’d am happy to say “Yes”, as that is a very cool interpretation! But I would of course be lying if I said that was what I, as the GM, actually intended.
OOC Information:
“Legends of the Past form Scarab’s wall” was meant to be a veiled reference to the Scarab’s plan to delay the pyramid’s construction. Lydia had been trying to create unrest amongst the slaves by encouraging the natural superstitions association with unearthing things which should not be unearthed. She was using ghost stories to slow them down.
Pharasma was anticipating that the Dune Squad would encounter Lydia and become involved in her plan. Pharasma (and the GM) was wrong. Due to some unexpected developments, including an extra-planar side trip, the Dune Squad ultimately arrived several days late after Khymrasa successfully unearthed the pyramid.
The pyramid construction delay was actually a large component of the published adventure. The Dune Squad came at it another way, and that is cool.
The real questions now is: what did Pharasma mean by
“When Suekhan’s count strikes 56?”
Or
“But too far down lose they soul?”

My guesses:
“When Suekhan’s count strikes 56?”:
Based on the fact that he is a devil and some of the cut-scene dialog we have seen, I'd say that he has been bound to serve as a guardian of the pyramid until he has slain 56 intruders, at which point his contract will be fulfilled - whatever bad stuff that entails I'd rather not find out.
“But too far down lose they soul?”:
Going downstairs in this pyramid can be hazardous to your health. So let's not do that, huh....wait, what are we doing, again?

So before I forget, let me alert you all that the Beetle hive is planning on expanding again. So in a couple days I am going to disappear for a hospital trip of unknown duration, just a couple days I hope. Once I am back I will have the zombie template for a few weeks. However, past experience suggests that only means I will check the boards and post even more frequently - so need not to check in - just be more forgiving if my error rate has a noticeable up-tick for a time.

Fun fact: While I'm having a fantastic time, I also can't wait for this adventure to conclude, so I can run off and read the adventure to figure out just how much of our crazy antics have deviated from what is actually in there.
Thanks for that. I too am keen to reach the end as I think we've all invested too much at this point not to make it! We'll have to drag each other over the finish line. I'm not sure the game can survive the loss of another player so everyone hang in.
[This is all code for my posting might be spotty next week.]
But what I wanted to mention was if you don't have a copy and are still interested, the module has gone on sale through Paizo for only 2 bucks this month. Though shipping cost might be an issue depending on location.

We are with you to the end, Beetle!
That's also exactly how I feel about my Realm of the Fellnight Queen PbP game. It has been running for over two years now, and is getting close to the finish line. But since anything can happen, especially in PbP, the actual end might easily be months away.

Purchased. Even with shipping, a physical copy of the module shipped to my mail box here in Denmark is going to cost me a whoopin $ 6.52. Surprisingly, that is cheaper than buying the pdf, or adding the module to my AP subscription sidecart.

My copy arrived a couple of days ago, and is sitting among my other Pathfinder books, waiting patiently for us to finish. The temptation to go and read it is about Succubus-level, but simply leafing briefly through it to make sure none of the pages had gotten wet while it was sitting in the mail box revealed several spoilers, so it will stay there until we finish.

Apologies for the delays guys. There's a storm aftermath where I am. I'm one of the lucky ones with power, but no internet. Once I am back up and running I'll play catch-up, which should be soon.
In the meantime, wishing you all a very Merry X-Mas to you and yours. May you win initiative in the New Year.
