Heck, I'd be happy to spot you some money from my cut.
Right now, the only thing I can think to buy is more diamonds, so I can set up Glyphs of Warding in key locations.
(Seriously, if anyone can think of equipment I should be buying instead, let me know. I'm stumped.)

Arctorus |

Well a +1 Flaming weapon would be 8,000 gp.
I have 3,000 gp. Not counting the 284 pocket coin I have.
Anyone willing to pitch in and Arctorus owe the remaining 5k from future loot splits?

Arctorus |

Well your cut of 3,000 gp should cover that and then some.
As to the Lizardfolk, are we talking about actually starting a new settlement with them, under Arctorus' command? If so, here are the hexes I'm eye balling to start it in, in no particular order:
I7: It's close to their normal home, and that is actually an island on the map. Granted, we haven't explored it and there are more wisps to deal with...but we could go in prepared this time...
I5: It's the lizardfolks home already. Could just civilize it and make it more habitable. Yes, I know we just asked them to leave there...hahaha.
H2: Due to lizardfolk naturally preferring to live in swamps, I think this would be a good spot too. A bit of "split the difference" kind of location.

"Arabeth" |

Happy for Arctours getting some nice new shiny. (^_^)
Wonderous items of elemental resistance/adaption for the other lizard folk, perhaps?
Arabeth will pretty much be turning her shares into components so as to more economically make healing potions herslef. Stretch the Healer's fund as far as they can go.
Couple wands Cure wounds etc.
Much cheers all.

"Arabeth" |

So... just how well known... by sight, are our heroes/Heroines?
Could we try and infiltrate as 'Monsters' and naer-do-wells seeking plunder and such?
If the idea has merrit I'll post the idea in game... Or others might want to take up the idea and word it better?
Much cheers to all.

The Thing with Oleg, there is a kingdom set event where a cult of Gyronna is established within your kingdom and starts causing unrest, the head of the cult is the midwife their goal is to harm men and the destabilize the kingdom. Other than the threat of a Gyronna cult the book doesn't give much guidance on what the cult does other than "the midwife position providing her opportunities to steal newborn babies and swap them with changelings". So I added the Midwife swapping Oleg's and Svetlana's baby for a half-elf baby and started the rumor that Torod was the father in order to drive a wedge between the leaders and cause a scandal. In Oleg's description, he doesn't really like civilization so he is likely to find an excuse to leave the kingdom. Torod was picked on because he was a half-elf male and with the added half-elf baby it makes the rumors more believable.
Since we have set aside the kingdom building and unrest rules, I decided to drop the Gyronna cult investigation and battle.
I apologize if the plotline has caused you pain.

Only because I'm so invested in the game. My pain is to your credit.
I'd envisioned Oleg being Torod's best friend, even more so than Asta. The group's early adventures, their similar views on civilization, and general surliness would bind them together. To have not only lost his friendship, but also be the target of Oleg's animosity so soon after losing Strawberry devastated Torod.

Arctorus |

I'm not against it. But the game had lost some momentum. If the rest are down, so am I. But I also won't lie and say that life hasn't been hectic for me for a quite a while and kept me a bit busy to make too many in depth posts in any of my games.
So whatever happens happens, I'll roll with it.

Asta Blackheart |

I'd like to keep going.
Arabeth appears to be willing to return to the game as well; I've yet to hear from Seraph, though.
We might want to recruit some additional people if we can find a DM; our party is wonderful, but we have a few gaps in our team build that we might like to patch up. A Bard as public relations officer, for one thing...

I posted a GM recruitment Thread {link here}
If any of you would like to add a post please do!

Asta Blackheart |

Guys, we might have someone who might be interested.
GM Aest is going to give the story so far a read-through and then get back to us with their decision.
In the meantime, they've invited us to ask any questions we might have for them, so I'd like to ask you all to go to the recruitment thread provided by GM Glyn if you would be so kind, and ask anything you think might be important.

PloodPaw - My apologies, but ...
While there maybe a vacancy for new players, I am currently looking to recruit a GM to take over the Campaign. Any new player additions would be at the discretion of the new GM.
I feel taking on new players now would be counter productive to recruiting a GM at this time, but please keep checking back for when the new GM takes over they may very well open up player recruitment.

GM Aest |

Hello. I've decided to take over GMing. I've got several years of experience GMing, although none of that is in the last 9 months or so. I'm in the process of getting back into PbP after a hiatus due to some deaths in the family. I tend to be a story-oriented GM, I like one or two big posts instead of a lot of small posts when I post, and I often use images (and occasionally sounds off of YouTube) to increase the immersion of the game.
My previous Kingmaker game ended early in Book Two, so this will be my first time pushing through the part you're on. It should be fun, though!

Arctorus |

Good to have you at the helm.
Bit of background on myself in this campaign in particular: I was one of the originals, but then had to step away myself, in part due to a close death in my own family...so I can sympathize there. I am back, and have since been two different characters.
My current character is a bit of a dullard, and in truth not even part of the leadership of the kingdom.

GM Aest - Welcome aboard and thanks for agreeing to taking on the GM role!
Everone - Thanks for letting me be your GM and I hope you have a many more years of fun adventures!
Below is the standard process for transferring forum ownership from one GM to another as show a the top of the Campaign page {link}
It can take sometime for Pazio to process requests. Last time for me it took 2 weeks.
Until then the forum ownership is changed you can’t edit the Campaign info page. If you need to have the Game info page changed or links to new maps added, before then I should be able to make the changes, I’ll keep an eye on the discussion for a while until the ownership change over.
Did you inherit a play-by-post?
If you are the GM for a play-by-post campaign but didn't start the thread, please email customer.service@paizo.com.We need:
A link to your profile page (click on your name at the top where it says "Welcome, your name!"
A link to the gameplay and discussion threads for the campaigns you have inherited.
Just copy and paste these links from the address bar in your browser, please

Asta Blackheart |

Welcome aboard, GM Aest, and thanks for taking the helm! ^_^
I'm also one of the original players, but I've been running this character since the start. For a Winter Witch, she's really not a bad person. She even has some occasional self-doubt. ;)
On a different note: BloodPaw put in a bid to join us. How do you feel about taking them on as a member of the team?
(As for Arctorus, he's the knighted chieftain of our Lizardfolk citizens. He's easily on track to becoming part of the ruling body. ;p)

GM Aest |

Hello to , and to the other players here.
I'm going to spend the weekend getting myself prepped to run from here to the end and taking care of transferring the game to me. Does Monday sound like a good kickoff time for new Gameplay posts, or would you prefer earlier?
EDIT: GM Glyn, thanks for sticking around long enough to find a new GM. I've rarely had GMs do that for their games. If you ever want to come back and play, I can probably wrangle a spot for you here.

, |
Take your time Master (Mistress?) Aest. (^_^)
Sadly I think Real Life has taken quite a toll on poor Serpah. :( I hope for the best... But fear the worst.
How does the new GM wish to handle charcters? We're picking up where we left off? We're making adjustments?
All the very best wishes to all! (^_^)

GM Aest |

I'm fine with continuing to play with your characters as is, mechanically and otherwise. I don't think any changes are needed this point, and my intention is to pick up as many of the characters as possible as similar to the way GM Glyn played them.
I may open up a spot at the break between Book Two and Book Three, and if I do, I'll contact Bloodpaw about that to make sure he's got a fair shot, since he expressed interest.

Asta Blackheart |

GM Aest, I've been meaning to ask: will you allow us to take the Leadership feat? GM Glyn was opposed to it, but I think it would be really appropriate for this particular module. (Also, it would allow me to resurrect a character or two as a cohort. ;) )

Arctorus |

If Arctorus took it, it would be purely for RP fodder to flesh out the lizardfolk tribe where he now is chief. Cohort and followers would not be traveling with him on adventures.
