Sup with Init?

DM Ninja/infinite

And the characters from my runelords game dash in, realize they're in the wrong country and rush back out. Bad day here.

Evangline Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Gkirkhan Initiative: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Rova Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Vertielle Initiative: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Wood Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Zhiden Initiative: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Imrijka initiative: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
Ellsa Initiative: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17

I'll keep Ellsa's attack roll, though, just to be fair.

Round 1:
Zhiden
Ellsa
Eva
Imrijka
Rova
Wood
Gkirkhan
Vertielle

Wood casts outside the house, just before the door is broken down. A shiny dog appears to aid the party and confront the undead creature.

"At least I can get the shiny dog in place in case anyone in the group has ideas of flight."

Half-orc
Normal:
HP: 14/14 AC 17/13/14: F+3, R +3, W -2, Per:-2, Init: +3

Seems like Vertielle is too busy studying when she should be fighting. ;P
@da GM: No worries. We all have bad days, and you've been patient enough with me to make me overlook any mistakes the rest of the campaign.

Female Half-Elf Bard (Archivist) 5/ Pathfinder Chronicler 1 (hp 49/49; AC 18/14/14; 15/15 rounds)

Vertielle laughs.
Gkirkhan's hair will not again survive such an ordeal, I think.

Female Assimar (with Ulfen blood) Cleric(Theologian) 4 / Monk(Spirit Master) 2

@GM: No worries. I've made that mistake before.

Male hp 19/36; AC 21/14/19 Level 5 Burglar

Zhiden, as usual, followed after the others, letting someone else charge ahead as he drew Imrijka's bow. He took a look at it, fairly unused to using ranged weapons, and then fired at the angry ghost.

Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6

Female Half-Elf Bard (Archivist) 5/ Pathfinder Chronicler 1 (hp 49/49; AC 18/14/14; 15/15 rounds)

Unused to? UNUSED TO?

. . .Should I have said 'unaccustomed to' instead?

The shiny dog rushes in; set to smite evil.
hit/damage: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 221d6 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

AC 21b - 11t - 20ff; HP: 44/44; PP: 2/2

Rova checks that the enchantment remains viable on his blade, then swings..

Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20
Damage: 2d8 + 8 ⇒ (6, 3) + 8 = 17

8 points after halving..

Wood Round 2

The dog prepares to continue his anti-evil smiting on the undead, flanking with Gkirkan.
Hit/damage: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 181d6 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Female Half-Elf Bard (Archivist) 5/ Pathfinder Chronicler 1 (hp 49/49; AC 18/14/14; 15/15 rounds)

Vertielle draws her sword belatedly and tumbles to a more advantageous position, careful to maintain her guard, flanking with Rova.
Acrobatics(Tumble): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Looks like I provoke.
Defensive aid Gkirkhan: 1d20 + 4 - 4 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 4 - 4 + 2 = 17

Fortunately, before she can connect with Gkirkhan, Wood's celestial pet ends the threat. Smiling through her tears, she stoops to pick up the paper she dropped and slides it under the bed, then stands and fades away.

"Let's hurry then"

DM Ninja/infinite

By the notes you found, the other two children were seen on the other side of town; Maartin in the house behind #7 and Gaard in the Tanner's shop (#11).

You can run between the houses to reach Maartin's house. The back door is open and you see, in the gathering dusk, a form in the garden.

damage_Morningstar: 1d8 + 3 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 3 + 4 = 14

Gkirkhan takes his hammer in both hands and brings it down hard. A storm continues to brew behind his glowing red eyes, but his actions are carried out in a calm, clinical manner, even if his jaw is clenched hard enough to cord those muscles.

PA 2H Hammer: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
Damage: 1d8 + 14 ⇒ (8) + 14 = 22 => 11

DM Ninja/infinite

Maartin:

AC 15, touch 15, flat-footed 14
hp 37-7=30-5=25-11=14

Imrijka and Gkirkhan both connect quite strongly, and Wood's dog gets in a bit of harm as well.

Sorry about the ghost post, for some reason I thought the first one hadn't gone through.

Female Assimar (with Ulfen blood) Cleric(Theologian) 4 / Monk(Spirit Master) 2

holy crap Gkirkhan's an unstoppable force

DM Ninja/infinite

Now we know what it takes to tick off Gkirkhan. I think his meeting with Brother Spawn is going to be...interesting...to say the least.

Cool. Firefox has a spellchecker!

Wood decides to add to Gkirkan's stature. He steps back 5 feet and casts another spell that takes some time to manifest.
Full round casting, enlarge person on Gkirkan. 40 round duration.

Half-orc
Normal:
HP: 14/14 AC 17/13/14: F+3, R +3, W -2, Per:-2, Init: +3

I just hope that the good luck continues. And Wood, you have made me very happy right now. :D
---
As for the meeting with good Br'er Spawn, yes, it is going to be very interesting, especially if Gkirkhan is still large by then.

Female Assimar (with Ulfen blood) Cleric(Theologian) 4 / Monk(Spirit Master) 2

Eva's rage at Brother Spawn mean's she'll be hammering him with channels.

Male hp 19/36; AC 21/14/19 Level 5 Burglar

"Brother Spawn is the one that hurt all of you!" Zhiden announced, growing tired of the usual refrain. At least the children were thankful when they were released from the wraith's taint. He fired without another word.

Attack: 1d20 + 9 - 4 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 9 - 4 - 2 = 12
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5

AC 21b - 11t - 20ff; HP: 44/44; PP: 2/2

"Weel, gotta squeeze th' last bit o' enchantin' outta dis.."

Expend psi-focus to activate Psionic weapon feat..

Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
Damage: 2d8 + 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (2, 5) + (1, 4) + 7 = 19

Hmm...every die rolled at or below average - why be hatin'?

Rova is distracted worrying about the enchantment wearing off, and manages to swing short.

DM Ninja/infinite

Round 2:
Imrijka
Rova
Gkirkhan
Zhiden
Maartin
Wood
Vertielle
Evangline

Eva=1, Gkirkhan=2, Rova=3, Vertielle=4, Wood=5, Zhiden=6, Imrijka=7

As the group hammers on him, Maartin moves to attack 1d7 ⇒ 7 Imrijka.

Incorporeal_touch: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
negative_energy: 1d4 ⇒ 2
Con_drain: 1d2 ⇒ 1

Imrijka returns the favor.

attack_Morningstar: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 6 + 1 = 22
damage_Morningstar: 1d8 + 3 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 4 = 11

Half-orc
Normal:
HP: 14/14 AC 17/13/14: F+3, R +3, W -2, Per:-2, Init: +3

Gkirkhan moves in with the same calm strides as before. If not for the strain and grief beginning to show on his face, it'd be easy to imagine him being bored.

PA 2H Hammer: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
Damage: 1d8 + 14 ⇒ (1) + 14 = 15 => 7 not bad for a 1 on the die. :)

DM Ninja/infinite

Maartin:

AC 15, touch 15, flat-footed 14

Maartin appears to be weakening, and turns to call for help. "Gaard! Brother Spawn! Help!"

Male hp 19/36; AC 21/14/19 Level 5 Burglar

When he saw the wraith trying to escape, Zhiden quickly readied another arrow and fired it, saying "You'll thank me later."

Attack: 1d20 + 9 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 9 - 2 = 12
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1

He cursed quietly when he saw the ghost continuing to flee. He wasn't sure if he'd missed or not, but he hadn't seemed to stop it.

AC 21b - 11t - 20ff; HP: 44/44; PP: 2/2

"Le's give tha' anudder shot, eh?"

Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26
Damage: 2d8 + 7 ⇒ (3, 5) + 7 = 15

Half damage: 7

Rova strikes sharply down, effectively slicing the phantom from shoulder to hip.

"Tha' shoul' be it fer this'n."

DM Ninja/infinite

As Rova's blade strikes true, the child-wraith calls out "Mommy!" and turns to run to a faint figure which hugs him.

As both fade you hear a whisper. "Ellsa's pictures."

Your enchantments fade with the child.

Female Assimar (with Ulfen blood) Cleric(Theologian) 4 / Monk(Spirit Master) 2

"Ellsa's pictures?
What could it mean?"

"Let's think about the cryptic Ellsa and Gaard clues while taking big Gkirkan to the next house."

Wood readies his protection from evil wand as they go.

Half-orc
Normal:

"The pictures under the gorl's bed."

Gkirkhan is already making his way to the next house.

AC 21b - 11t - 20ff; HP: 44/44; PP: 2/2

Rova shakes his blade as the enchantment's gleam flades.

"Ehh, dey ne'er last long enough. So, I'll use da oil fer da next 'un, an' ya can cast anudder 'un when we find dis brudder spawn. Oil don' last too long, but enuf fer one more o' dees kids."

Rova digs the oil out of his backpack as he makes his way back outside.

Female Half-Elf Bard (Archivist) 5/ Pathfinder Chronicler 1 (hp 49/49; AC 18/14/14; 15/15 rounds)

Let's get this OVER WITH, Vertielle says emphatically. It's clear that she's more than a little ticked.

Sorry for my absence, I'm looking for a new place to live, my posting will be sporadic at best. Feel free to DMPC me for the next week or so as needed- Vertielle uses aid another with flanking, fighting defensively.

DM Ninja/infinite

No problem, Vertielle. good luck with the house hunting.

DM Ninja/infinite

Imrijka places her hand comfortingly on Gkirkhan's shoulder before you folks move on. "I know. One more. Then they free and safe. Then..." her tone and visage change "We find source."

The notes indicate that the last child-wraith victim was the tanner's son, so you head to that shop.

The little boy is sitting on the counter of the shop, kicking his feet impatiently.

"My friends are gone! It's your fault. All we wanted was to play."

With that, Gaard moves to attack 1d7 ⇒ 5 Wood.

"You brought bad dogs!"
