Round 3:
20 Quinton
19 Rekgar
16 Aldona and Brigands
12 Gaius
8 Hagrym
7 Karos
Quinton swings at the werewolf, but she is too swift for his blow. Similarly Rekgar cannot seem to lay hands upon her.
Aldona grins and continues to assault Quinton! Sword: 1d20 + 14 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 14 + 2 = 24, dealing 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12 damage! Seeing Quinton fall, she rounds on Hagrym and attempts to rip his flesh with her teeth! 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15, dealing 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 if she hits!
The brigand closest to Quinton laughs as he falls and steps up to assault Rekgar! Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16, dealing 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 damage!
The brigand near Gaius similarly steps forward and swings at him! 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 4 + 2 = 26 Crit confirm: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 4 + 2 = 24, dealing a whopping 2d8 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (7, 4) + 4 + 2 = 17 damage!

Gaius feels his jaw break when the thug slams a mace into his chin. His head swims from the concussion, barely remaining standing. He spits out the blood, trying to maintain consciousness long enough to skewer his attacker with arrows. He grunts as he stumbles backwards, pulling out one of his arrows and nocking it in a smooth motion. He pulls back and shoots with the bow from point blank range, then brings out another arrow and sends it straight after. His body nearly betrays him on the second one, with a wave of pain pushing his aim too low to hit even from this close range.

Okay, let's see how this goes...
Karos is the first to awaken. Bruised and somewhat battered, he comes awake in time to see his friends tied up and slumped over next to the campfire. The werewolf is nowhere to be seen, but the brigand is busy dragging bodies away toward the west, where a shovel can be seen sticking out of the ground. He piles the bodies, then resumes shoveling, grumbling loudly all the time. "... Goes off and leaves me to dig graves. All because SHE ate the damn pigeons. Gods be praised, I hate this job..."
Karos, your non-lethal damage is healed. You suspect it's only been a couple hours since you were knocked out. You're tied up, but you can tell it wasn't done particularly well. You can see a pile of your and your companions' items has been made across the fire. What would you like to do?

Karos will wait for the digging to begin, so that the noise covers him. He then tries to slip his bonds when the guard isn't looking. If he succeeds, he will move quietly to the pile of gear and retrieve his musket and ammunition.

Moving silently, Karos is able to retrieve his musket and ammunition from the pile of items. The brigand seems pretty focused on digging his friends' grave and muttering to himself over how he's not getting nearly enough of the loot for this. Your friends are still unconscious, and looks like they will be for at least a little while. What do you do?

Karos considers his options. His companions would be a huge boon in escaping. But might groan or make other noises as they woke. Karos considers taking on the guard silently, but reflects that no follower of Cayden Cailean should be shooting people in the back.
Also, he doesn't know where the werewolf is, although from the guard's words she may be far enough away not to interfere in this fight.
Karos makes a decision and drinks his potion of cure moderate wounds.
Then he moves to Rekgar, whom he believes to be the least wounded, and uses his wand of [i]cure light wounds[/dice].

The musket roars and when the puff of gunsmoke clears, the brigand lies dead on the ground, a confused look permanently etched on his face and a convenient grave dug only a few feet away...
END OF COMBAT! Now what would you like to do? There is still a sound of thumping coming from the largest tent and there's no sign of the werewolf to be seen.

Karos knows he's made a lot of noise, but his best bet is still to get his compatriots up and armed. He moves among them with his wand of cure light wounds, starting with Hargrym.
It's got 38 charges and I'm okay with burning them all.

Rekgar dumps the body into the freshly made grave and then covers it up...all the while keeping any eye or ear out for trouble.

Give yourself to the dice-gods, Rekgar. Surrender to the ones...
Rekgar rolls the body into the newly dug grave, along with the bodies of the other brigands and Wicent, and covers them with a fresh pile of dirt. Karos moves among his injured compatriots, healing them with his wand. Soon, they are all up and rubbing wrists that are raw from being tied up. Feel free to roll out the healing to determine how many charges it takes, but let's move on in the meantime.
Investigating the larger tent shows a messy tent, an empty bird cage, several pieces of discarded paper and two trunks. One is small, about the size of a footlocker. The other is a huge sea chest, and it's currently emitting thumping sounds along with a muffled voice cursing.

Back to full health; just two charges from Karos' wand
Groaning, as he wakes, Sir Quinton blinks rapidly.
"What happened? I remember the gnoll, and then I believe I was somehow magicked to the Darklands. I couldn't see anything ... and I don't remember anything."
He stops Karos as the man goes to apply his wand more and reclaims his own, asking the gunslinger to use that to help him.
"And what is that thumping?" he asks as he begins getting back into his armor, bony white limbs showing through his linen undergarments.

The sea chest is locked with a heavy lock, but it's not even closed, just stuck through to keep the chest shut. When you remove it, a handsome young man with mussed hair and one eye swollen shut pops free. He looks around at all of you with confusion, then looks sullen. "It's about time you people opened the chest. Where's my sword?"
The smaller footlocker holds what appears to be Lander Lebeda's gear. His sword, like all the weapons of the brigands, bears the same maker's mark: the mark of Marek. In addition, while several of the papers are simply angry scrawlings or scribbles, one is a note. It reads 'M,
Wicent found some rich whelp snooping around our watering hole. We roughed him up and have stashed him away while we figure out how to make some coin off of him. Who do you think we can ransom him off to? That lordly pet hanging around your shop probably knows someone we could get in touch with, right?
Aldona'

Hagrym opens one eye. "What the hell happened back there? I feel like I've been run over by a herd of aurochs! Last thing I remember is that werewolf cutting me down. How were the rest of you?"
Once upright and apprised of the situation, Hagrym swears loudly at the realization. "We've been sent to bring you back home, young fella. If we can kill that damn werewolf while we are at it, that would be great, through."

OK, thematically, I need someone to talk him out of this, as Hagrym who follows Gorum, would be all for the young man's goal here. Hagrym will be silent, but he's not going to discourage someone who wants battle.
