Diviner's Fortune :
(Sp): When you activate this school power, you can touch any creature as a standard action to give it an insight bonus on all of its attack rolls, skill checks, ability checks, and saving throws equal to 1/2 your wizard level (minimum +1) for 1 round. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Intelligence modifier.

Almathea:
Magical practitioners, both arcane and divine, often use artificial creatures to protect their lairs, libraries, temples, and sacred texts. Sometimes the best of these protectors are ones a thief never suspects—until it’s too late. Guardian scrolls are deceptive constructs created from enchanted paper or papyrus. When an intruder enters a proscribed area or touches a prohibited object without first speaking a password or otherwise signaling that it has permission to enter, the guardian scroll rises to attack.

Typical constructs, they are also immune to bashing, crushing, or falling damage. They also take less damage from anything not magical.

Leto's two arrows tear through the scroll as it leaps forward. Setesh manages to pull the paper away from his face. Nevai cuts himself slightly while trying to pry the paper away (3 damage). It does not seem to damage the scroll creature at all.

That was my fault, Leto. I thought I had noted that your attack had no discernible effect, but apparently not.

Erei manages to stab at the scroll around Nevai, but seems to do more harm to his ally than the enemy. 3 damage to Nevai. Almathea tosses acid at the flying scroll and burns a hole through it.

Neither scroll is currently in a grapple. You can, however, attack either scroll when it flies down to attack someone. Unless you're just being descriptive, of course. You just can't initiate a grapple as part of an unarmed strike. (Grab is the ability you need for that.) And on round 3 you can attack it before it flies off, so your attack is fine. I just wanted to make sure everyone knew it's not in a grapple.

Also, everyone, make sure to put round and initiative in your posts. And update your initiative if you've delayed or readied an action.

Longspear: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

Active Effects: Flagbearer (+1 morale to attack/damage)
