"Hmm," Aravashnial says, "You say the pitlings have crustacean-like appendages, but if they are worshiping Baphomet then I would have expected more ungulate features or horns." He considers, "Although I've always found it odd that a demon lord of minotaurs is described as bovidae."
"I've always wondered how a creature with a cow head can see straight ahead. I suppose it's another mystery we chalk up to the capriciousness of gods and wizards."
To Anevia: "I assumed you were a better shot than that." There is the tiniest lilt to suggest he's joking. Or maybe he's just being a dick.

"It's breasts on beings who can't possibly bear their young live that always puzzled me. Although 'a wizard did it' is probably a depressingly reasonable explanation for that, now that you mention it."
Whoops, you're entirely right that drinking a potion is a standard action -- the group I've been gaming with allows it as a move action and I forgot it was a house rule! Very sorry, glad it was moot.

I am fairly sure you are correct that you hadn't heard her called another name yet.
Drea reddens slightly. "My actual full name," she says, "Is گودھولی کے باہوں میں خواب کھو. Godaalholikebahounmeinkhawabkho. Which in Abyssal means either 'The Dreamer Lost in Twilight's Embrace' or 'Lost in the Arms of Twilight Dreams'. I have no idea why I was named that, and you can probably see why I generally go by 'Drea'."

Roshan moves around the barriers, using the half door as cover from the room as he picks up his two chakram.
Anevia limps hops to the other wall, shakes her head when she can't get a bead on a target. "Nope," she says to Konstantin, "normally I'm such a bad shot that I fire twice in the hopes that one shot will get lucky. "
Chancre uses the scale to lay hands upon himself.
And steps away from the door somewhat, graciously allowing anyone else who might like to slide in there the opportunity.
"I was wrong. Now it's too late. " he says to the dying mutant.
"The fiendish minotaurs I've seen do move their heads back and forth nearly constantly," Aravashnial comments.
There is a husky female voice, orders in Undercommon and the two mutants that were partially visible pull back into the darkness of the next room.

"I'd be all right with our group splitting up for the night," Drea says.
"Are there any places a, um, tourist might like to see, by the way? Caverns or edifices or ... I don't remember ever being anywhere quite like this before."
"Interesting rock formations? Etchings? Sites of historical interest?"
Lann nods and his elven features smile while his lizard side stays straight-faced. Most of the buildings are stone and look to have been constructed half from existing cave formations and half from rock carved from the walls. Down a tight alley and Lann uses the hilt of his dagger to knock on the stone next to a streched leather door. A bit later the door is opened by a hunched old man whose right arm is a mass of three octopus legs, complete with puckering suckers.
Lann bows to the old man, "Thel," motioning to the group. He introduces each of you to the old man then, "Two of the uplanders have been injured." The old man smiles showing toothless gums, motioning for Anevia and Aravashnial to be helped inside the dwelling, which proves to be comfortably large with four large stone sleeping platforms / surgical areas.
Once the injured are settled, Lann bows to Drea and Chancre. "I'm very sure that I could find someone to take you out on the lake, which... he motions one hand, its hard to describe."
More to Chancre, "And I could take you to the Hall of Ancestors, if you'd like."

Action: Take a 5-foot step towards the barrier between the rooms and attack it.
Relevant rules, mostly for my own benefit: Idea is to attack the barrier while still keeping behind the wall; I think this means that the barrier may have cover from me? Giving it a +4 to AC.
But if I'm reading the object damage rules correctly it should normally have an AC of 3 or 4? Which is the number I apparently make a sunder combat manuever against to damage an object, but that happens to be the same to hit and damage as a regular attack for me right now.
Will use a bite attack because it does more damage and I'm trying to overcome hardness, and since it does slashing/bludgeoning/piercing it should work against objects.

"Here," says Míril as she grabs a part of the barricade. "I'll help."
This time Drea tries to just kick the wooden partition blocking the doorway and with a resounding crack it breaks, falling down on the cave floor on either side of Drea.
Just the slightest bit of a smirk, "It's just easier to distract the damn guy than hit him." But this time Anevia draws and fires, aiming for the arrow to sink into flesh. But her arrow thuds into the barrier. "See?"
Chancre casts a spell and steps into the ambush.
I have Chancre down a total of 16 hit points.
An arrow goes zipping right next to Chancre's head, missing soley because he stumbles slightly on the debris from the partition. Sadly, he isn't as lucky when it comes to the two heavy slams from the mutants flanking the door. Chancre takes 13 hit points, but remains upright.
Roshan is able to get an angle on one of the mutants right on the other side of the opening as they move out to strike Chancre - and despite the odd angle and the cover, he manages to hit with his starknife.

Míril returns to her previously scheduled occupation of shooting arrows at mutants. Using the doorway as partial cover, she fires at the first enemy she sees. Which is the mutant on the other side of the door, which she manages to hit despite trying to remain hidden herself.

Drea takes 5 hit points.
Chancre starts to glow with a soft white light, which really shows off the thick grime on his outfit. He swings with impeccable precision at the more heavily damaged of the flanking mutants, then steps out of the danger zone.
The woman in the far corner oscillates between her two targets for a moment, before settling on the obvious spellcaster. Her arrow just manages to tag Chancre as his luck sours. (Chancre takes 3 hit points and is just barely standing.)
Meanwhile, the less damaged mutant to the north turns on Drea with a savage backhand. (Drea takes 6 hit points.) The southern mutant steps up to the doorway, and strikes Miril for a devasting blow. (Miril takes 12 hit points and falls down.)
Cornered with a ranged weapon, Anevia's eyes narrow. She drops her bow, pulling her short sword as she slides under the mutant's legs coming up just enough to sink her sword into the mutants liver.
Roshan quickly dodges around the mutant, to stand protectively above Miril, even as he lays a hand that glows with silver light on her arm. (Miril heals 6 hit points and is conscious but prone.)
"Do you require the assistance of a summoned creature?" Aravashnial asks. His voice has just a touch more concern in it than normal for the haughty elf.
