Bandits roll: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Order:
Porter
Talmanes
Nicolae
Bandits
Bilnerk
Beohawk
The bandits are positioned in a 2 man deep line in a semicircle around you, they are positioned 20 feet away, the bandit leader is 35 feet away, directly in front and behind two bandits. The area you are standing in is completely open, 40ft to the nearest cover (a broken stall) to your left.
Porter first
Nicolae Vintila
Remember...anyone who does not draw a weapon gets to live!
Nicolae dismounts (move action), pulls a shuriken (free action) and throws it at the closest goon (standard action)...
Attack +1 range increments: 1d20 + 6 - 2 ⇒ (16) + 6 - 2 = 20
Damage: 1d2 + 4 + 2d6 ⇒ (2) + 4 + (2, 6) = 14
Then disappears using vanish (swift action)=1 Ki point
Talmanes al'Vence
Fast Dismount DC20 (Success): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24Free action
Defensive Fighting Trip Attempt VS Flat-Footed CMD (Success?): 1d20 + 13 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 13 - 2 = 20
Longsword strapped to his wrist via a weapon cord, Talmanes dismounted swifter than any had likely thought the older man possibly could- he vaulted acrobatically off the horse and confidently walked right up to the largest concentration of thugs, longsword held loosely out to his right side as he strode, his left hand snapping into a monastic guard stance he had mastered in his youth. His many scabbards did not seem to hinder his stride and his first target felt one of them, briefly guided by Talmanes left hand, slam into his leg and threaten to topple him as he evaded a slash from Talmanes sword- a slash merely designed to steer him into the belt sword scabbard's path as he smoothly span on his heel...
+4 dodge bonus to AC and CMD for fighting defensively, +1 for use of Combat Expertise. AC24, CMD26. Deflect Arrows and Crane Wing as yet unused for the round.
Bilnerk Ricina
If able, I'll aim a burning hands to catch the bandits, but avoid everyone else, if possible. If not then I'll throw a firebolt. I'll put the rolls beneith.
Burning hands DC 15 reflex for half: 2d4 ⇒ (3, 1) = 4 They catch alight, if wearing something flammable
fire bolt:
ranged touch: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 vs touch AC
damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Turnage
The bandits leap into action, well 10 of them do at least, 5 of them only joined to not get beaten up, and this certainly didn't fulfill that requirement.
Unfortunately porter is extremely unlucky and his combination of a failed web and his price set of steps sets off a complicated interference pattern with the magic already in four winds, causing a dimensional rift and sucking him through. His disappears with a slight *pop*.
With the shuriken in the eye, and one being floored by talmanes well placed scabbard, 8 of them leap on their foes.
You each take two attacks:
Bilnerk:
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8 (sap) 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 (nonlethal)
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18 (sap) 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 (nonlethal)
You deftly sidestep one sap swing and step directly into the path of another, luckly it isn't a solid hit, it's definitely bruised your shoulder however.
Take 4 nonlethal damage
Talmanes:
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 (rapier) 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 (rapier) 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 ouch a crit, roll to confirm 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 Ouch....I'm going to rule that you get to add any modifiers such as strength etc a 3rd time, but no extra dice roll on an occasion such as this.
1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 (crane style deflects)
You sidestep the first strike and see the second sword heading straight for your eye. You don't have time to react, yet your intense style training does it for you, your forearm whipping up to bat the blade aside, it skims your hair, a few severed ends float down past your eye.
Nicolae:
1d100 ⇒ 261d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11 (rapier) 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
1d100 ⇒ 811d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16 (sap) 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 (nonlethal)
Both bandits run forward, assuming nicholae hadn't moved from his previous position.
One just misjudges the position completely and hits nothing but air.
The second scrapes Nicolaes armour, but causes no damage at all, he doesn't even register the slight contact, and looks around confused.
Beohawk:
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 (sap) 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 (nonlethal)
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 (rapier) 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 roll to confirm
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
As one bandit runs towards you, he swings his sap...about 5 feet before he gets to you. In fact you see he had his eyes closed the whole time, it's a marvel he even came that close.
The second bandit takes advantage of this distraction and sticks his rapier through a gap in your armour, fortunately this is on the arm and it only makes a small cut, it hardly bleeds at all.
Take 4 damage
The bandit that was tripped over by talmanes desperately tries to crawl to his feet.
Talmanes take an attack of opportunity on your turn.
Everyones turn now.
Bilnerk, I'll let you rechoose your actions because the situation has changed from when you posted it.
Beohawk
The trained warhorse lashes out at the bandit with the the rapier.
Bite: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 81d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Hoof: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 211d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Hoof: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 81d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
And then saunters back 5 feet.
The ranger calmly pulls a single arrow from its quiver and lets it fly at the rapier holder.
Arrow: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 161d8 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Calling to the one with the sap he explains rationally. Drop that weapon or this horse will trample you.
Nicolae Vintila
Harper pulls his katana and attacks the bandit whose rapier bounced off his armor.
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11 (versus flat footed AC unless he has uncanny dodge)
Damage: 1d8 + 7 + 2d6 ⇒ (3) + 7 + (4, 2) = 16
As he swings his sword, he suddenly reappears and steps 5 feet towards Talmanes.

AOO, Round 1
Longsword AOO VS Prone Thug (Hit, Non-Lethal, Defensive Fighting): 1d20 + 10 + 4 - 2 - 4 ⇒ (15) + 10 + 4 - 2 - 4 = 23
Damage (Non-Lethal): 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Hard-pressed for a moment, Talmanes launched a cunning riposte that gave him time to strike at the man he had tripped as he got to his feet. His sword snaked out to strike the thug he had tripped- but the duellist was loathe to kill such an unworthy foe. He tilted his wrist at the last moment as his enchanted blade slammed into the man's face with the flat of the blade.
Round 2 Actions-
Longsword Disarm VS Thug CMD (Disarm into held scabbard, fighting defensively): 1d20 + 13 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 13 - 2 = 19
He had already forgotten his first foe as he swiftly parried and dodged the two rapiers striking for him- finding a comfortable rhythm and allowing minor blows to glance off his mithril chain shirt. He fought the two thugs and easily brought his sharpened combat scabbard into play, drawing it easily and occasionally making a parry with the bladed edge.
Talmanes then baited one of the thugs into making a full lunge, brushed his sword on the inside of the rapier as if to parry, stepped in close and with a flick of his wrist, disarmed the blade neatly into the combat scabbard he held in his left hand. He dropped the scabbard at his feet, as if daring the thug to make a grab for it, and resumed his defensive stance, one hand ready to stop incoming blows.
Took a little liberty with description there sorry, but I assumed they wouldn't have CMD19 or higher. Move action to draw weapon, standard to disarm, free to drop.

Round 1
Talmanes
Lying on the floor, the bandits first instinct was to try and scramble to his feet, no sooner than he had let his guard down, he took a flat blade to the face. On the verge of unconsciousness, he decided to just stay there and pretend to have been knocked out.
Bandit bluff check
I'm going to give him a +6 to this check because 1. He is almost unconscious anyway 2. He was smacked in the face pretty hard 3. A fight is going on so no-one is paying that much attention to him anyway.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 The DC if anyone wants to try and see through it
Bilnerk
You step back, weaving through the bandits defences so they don't get an opportunity to strike you. Once far enough away, you call upon your magic and fire leaps from your fingertips, striking the two bandits in front of you.
Reflex saves:
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Both bandits try and dodge but leap in the same direction. Bilnerk, having anticipated their dodge, aims where they land, and they both get a blast of fire straight in the face.
Beohawk
The bandit deftly dodges a bite and one hood strike, but gets clobbered in the face with another. He falls back slightly more than anticipated which causes beohawks shot to glance off his armour, rather than the weak point he had aimed at.
END OF ROUND 1
Status:
Bandit 1 3 damage (on fire)
Bandit 2 3 damage (on fire)
Bandit 3 0 damage
Bandit 4 0 damage
Bandit 5 14 Non-lethal (pretending to be unconscious)
Bandit 6 6 damage
Bandit 7 0 damage
Bandit 8 0 damage
Bandit 9 0 damage
Bandit 10 dead
ROUND 2
TALMANES
The sword slips easily out of the bandits hand. He looks at his empty palm in shock, and then turns to run away If you get additional attacks of opportunity you may use one
NICOLAE
You have the perfect shot on the bandit, unfortunately as you go to strike pure luck is in his favour, and he fumbles his sword slightly in panic, causing your sword to narrowly miss his neck by mere inches.
BANDITS
1 + 2: Both drop to the floor and spend the entire round extinguishing themselves
3+4: Both attack Talmanes again
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3(deflected)
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
The bandit sees where he struck before, and goes for it again, almost hitting you in the eye. Again the bandits sword is struck aside with a calm slap from your blade. The other bandit misses entirely, striking the ground around your foot.
6+7: Attack Beohawk
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
You avoid the sap swing only to get clipped on the leg by the rapier, it stings a bit but you can tell it's only surface damage.
Take 3 damage Beohawk
8+9: Move into flanking position and attack Nicolae
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Whilst trying to avoid both simultaneous strikes, you move slightly too slowly and the rapier wielder manages to draw some blood.
Take 3 damage Nicolae
PLAYERS TURN
Beohawk
Beohawk redirects his horse to the bandit with the sap saying I did warn you.
Bite: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 41d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Hoof: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 181d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Hoof: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 181d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Then, with subtle pressure from the ranger the horse dances back another 5 feet and the ranger shoots again at the rapier wielder.
Hoof: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 191d8 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Nicolae Vintila
HP: 34/37
1# How did I take Dmg? It's not a big deal I just don't see a hit (AC 9 & 12). I just want to know for future reference.
2# How far am I from Talmanes?
Nicolae position himself in a flank with Talmanes (Either by 5 foot step or acrobatics)
If Acrobatics: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Attack while flanking (Katana/Power Attack): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25
Damage: 1d8 + 10 + 2d6 ⇒ (7) + 10 + (3, 6) = 26
Talmanes al'Vence
Round 2 Cleanup-
Round 2 AOO (Defensive Fighting, Trip, Success): 1d20 + 13 - 2 ⇒ (11) + 13 - 2 = 22
Perception DC21 (Fail): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
As the disarmed thug tried to flee, Talmanes smoothly tripped him- he hooked his leg with the flat of his longsword and sent him tumbling to the ground, turning his attention to the lone foe that still plagued him
Round 3 Actions-
Round 3 Action (Defensive Fighting, Disarm, Into Scabbard Penalty, Success): 1d20 + 13 - 2 - 4 ⇒ (18) + 13 - 2 - 4 = 25
Facing a single foe, Talmanes did not even draw another scabbard as he casually disarmed the thug and slid his rapier into yet another sheath upon his belt. He then scooped up the scabbard he had previously dropped, just before his distraction proved fatal to the hapless thug as Nicolae buried his katana in his back. The duellist frowned a little at the katana wielder, apparently not particularly happy about the thug's death, but chose not to make an issue of it mid-combat.
As far as my understanding goes, no remaining foes on Talmanes after Nicolae's actions except a disarmed, tripped thug.
AOO (Defensive fighting): 1d20 + 10 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 10 + 4 - 2 = 18
1d8 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Seeing that Nicolae would likely finish the man off anyway, Talmane's next blow was intended to be lethal- stabbing the man in the gut.
Bilnerk Ricina
Seeing Nicolae being flanked, Bil aims his finger and casts a spell, two magic missiles emerging from his fingers and slamming into the nearest bandit.
missiles: 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (3, 3) + 2 = 8
"You thugs have a chance to run." he points out to the bandits, hoping that they take the advice, keeping his eye on the bandits who are currently on fire and smirking, seeming somewhat pleased with his work.
Turnage
ROUND 3
BEOHAWK
As your horse rears to clobber the sap wielder in the face, you calmly notch another arrow and shoot the rapier wielder in the face, his corpse dropping to the sandy floor.
NICOLAE
Your sword pierces the bandits chest, he lets out a small gasp and slumps to the floor. The life fading from his eyes.
TALMANES
The bandit looks at his empty hand, looks at your scabbard, looks at his hand. Turns and runs (full withdrawal so no AOO).
BILNERK
The bandit you point out takes to invisible hammerblows to the chest, blood spurts out his mouth and his eyes roll into his skull. He falls backwards clearly dead.
END OF COMBAT
All bandits drop their weapons as a free action and make a full withdrawal.
The bandit leader bends down and slowly places his sword on the floor. He stands up straight and looks Talmanes in the eye and says
"Well now gentlemen, what is it that you want?"
If anyone wants to chase the bandits down or shoot them etc then just put that in your next post and I'll say that it happened at the same time as this bit
Beohawk
Holding his arrow knocked and not loosing Beohalk calls after the men. You have the gift of grace this once, though you do not deserve it. Flee. If I see your face in this town again, I will cut you down where you stand. His facial expression seems to show he intends to do so.
Talmanes al'Vence
Talmanes stared at the thug coldly, withdrawing his sword from the gut of the thug he had just stabbed as he tried to flee the disarmed, tripped one, would have had to stand up to get away, rolled the AOO in a spoiler. The wound was not a fatal one and so Talmanes had no kills to his name- yet. Nevertheless, two rapiers were now held inside two of his scabbards, a testament to his duelling skill. Talmanes wiped his blade upon the clothing of one of the fallen, looking extremely disappointed that it had been so blemished.
Empty your pockets of valuables before you leave, good sir... And I believe I have an empty scabbard for your weapon, thank you kindly he added, flicking the sword into the air with his own and drawing a third sheath from his belt to catch the blade in one smooth motion. My friend Beohawk can surely wait for a few moments before he feels compelled to shoot you down.
Bilnerk Ricina
Bil is tempted to blast the fleeing bandits, but he holds himself back and looks to the group, wondering what they're going to do with the bandit leader.
A idea then comes to mind as he looks to the bandit and then back to nicolae, wanting to speak to him for a moment in whispered onversation.
"Shall we ask if he knows of a way in four winds that isn't direct? We can go along with our current plan, but if something comes up, it'll be good th have a back up for getting inside the city." he explains, hopeful that you might side with him.
Bilnerk Ricina
Nicolae, he is whispering to you- you do not need a perception check to read the spoiler. The DC is for the rest of us to overhear. However, Aron did not read the description of entering the city so Bilnerk's suggestion is entirely redundant anyway.
Very true, disreguard it.
"What shall we do with him?" bil asks, not wanting to step forward and deal with the bandit, if the others wanted to do something else with him.
Beohawk
Beohawk looks down at the bandit leader from his war trained bonded mount. Look at me. If you know of the Ulfen people you know that we hold liars in very low regard. I do not lie. You have attacked us. Some would say we would be fools to let you live. Give me a reason that you should live. Tell me something valuable. Something that I need to know, You have one chance to impress me. As he says this he draws a great sword and moves closer to the man waiting for him to speak.
[ooc - I am taking a +4 for being larger as I am mounted on a mount he has seen strike his men to sinificant effect. If you liked my intimidate above maybe you can give me a situational bonus here as well. I am really ready to stride this person down if he does not start talking. :)[/ooc]
Intimidate: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Nicolae Vintila
Nicolae slow walks to the rear of the bandit leader. He takes his katana and sticks the point lightly on the rear of the man's neck. He slowly slides the tip around the back of his neck drawing something that is unrecognizable.
I think you should listen to my Ulfen friend. He is your only hope for life. If it was up to me, I would remove your head for you.
Assist on the intimidate: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
[ooc]I assist for a +2[/dice]
Turnage
He's already pretty intimidated considering you slaughtered his men and he's standing surrounded by 4 of you.
Look lads come on, no need for threats here. They were just a bunch of idiots, ya know, I knew they couldn't hurt ya, wouldn't be good for me to be lookin scared of new folk does it? Look I ain't got no valuables on me, all I got is me sword and me clothes on me back, honest
Bluff check
1d20 ⇒ 11
You clearly see that he his lying his socks off. A bandit of his stature wouldn't walk around with at least some swag to show off. And you could have sworn he was wearing some valuables before the fight started..
Beohawk
Horse. The ranger gives subtle pressure with his knees. The horse strikes out with little warning and his shod hoof nearly breaks the man's lower leg.
horse kick: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 211d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
I do not lie, and I do not bluff. Would you like to see his teeth?
Turnage
The horse blow strikes him on the knee, he staggers back a few paces and looks slightly panicked.
Alright alright here take em take em. Ain't wourf nuffin to me if i'm dead eh?
He tips out his pockets. A few golden necklaces and rings fall out of his pockets. He clearly has just gone for the most shiny pieces he could find with all items being gold and reflecting the sun with a harsh glare.
In game terms he dropped about 3 gold worth of jewels. I'll let you take that as money because I can imagine you bartering solely with the jewelry.
That's everfin I've got. Now I'll be on me way then if that be agree'n wif ya?
