Tyrrin smiled. Well, at least it would be a challenge. She would need to start designing a cirriculum... "And good luck to you Professor. My offer to help is always on the table."

And... fade to black there.

Tyrrin was headed to the cafeteria with some purpose. She was hungry, the morning had been busy and the afternoon and evening looked to be about the same. She was hurrying to get lunch before heading to the observatory, didn't want to leave Ghalen waiting too long.

Ghalen spots Tyrrin as she rounds a corner, the arrows leading him to her. "Good afternoon Mr. Kiln," she intones as he approaches. "Your morning was productive I trust?"

He smiles and bows, then steps in stride with her.

"As productive as can be expected, Miss Denulia. How has your morning gone?"

Johnny in the countryside:

Johnny could see it was a small Child about 6 or 7, she had some wood sticks in her hand.

She was peeking thought the roots of the fallen tree, looking at storm.

::"I want you to go talk to her, could you do that for me"::
Storm asked.

::"Ya sure"::

Johnny dropped out of storm, and stood. The child had ducked down.

"Hi, hello? would it be ok if I walked to you?"

Johnny shifted to look more Female than male thinking it would make the girl feel more comfortable.

The Little girl came out dressed in rags and bear feet, she said.

"Your very pretty, are you an angle? have you come for my grandma, if you have you don't need to, she's not that ill, shes getting better, I can tell"

The little girl started look as if she was going to cry, Johnny went over and kneeled down in front of her.

"No I haven't come to take your Grandma, is your grandma ill?"

The little girl looked into Johnnys eyes the look broke Johnnys Heart, the Child nodded and said, crying all gone away now, she had good news

"yes, shes been ill for days and days and I have been keeping her warm and things but she wont eat, and she makes this sound in her chest."

"Dos your mother know?"

"I don't know my mother, Grandma said she is with the angels, with you and the others."

The Little girl looked hopeful at Johnny.

"That building over there is that where you live?"

Johnny pointed at the only building in sight.

"Yes, me and Grandma, Granddad made it long time ago"

"Could I ask your name?"

"Sara"

"I'm Johnny nice to meet your Sara, look I just need to get something and then I will help you get wood how dos that sound?

all the little girl did was nod, Johnny got up and went back to storm.

::Medical unit now please, then pre-fab a heating and food replicator and send them over with an awake drone, you know where I am going.::

A small Medical unit fell into Johnnys hand. Then turning s/he helped pick up some wood and walked to the shack with Sara.

Johnny spent 20 mins with the grandmother, she was in a bad way, ill yes and close to death, but by no means old, 55 if a day. She was just warn out, years of working the land and looking one then another child, it had aged her, then a simple illness.
It did not take long, She was stabilized and the chest infection would be treated.

"Your grandma will be fine Sara, she was very ill but no shes getting better."

Sara sat holding her Sleeping grandmas hand.

"I have asked someone to come here and look after you until shes batter hows do that sound."

Again the child nodded lost for words at the angle who had come.

Then a Full AI drone came in with the heater and heating and food replicator. Storm had given is selfwarenss and had fulled it in one what was here. It came in looking like a humming bird. Johnny talked to it

::"Hello, welcome to life"::

This was common greeting for new AIs in the culture.

::"Have you chosen a name?::

::"Yes I felt Krix De Avalon would be good, I am pleased to meet you Johnny, Storm my parent has told me all about you."::

::"Nice to meet you Krix, now you of course can do as you please, you have life and have no obligation to me or Storm, But could as ask that you do a thing for me. This child and her grandmother need help, I am sorry to say I can not at this moment, nor Storm, but would you be willing to"::

::"I take it this was the reason I was given life?"::

::"yes"::

::"Then I feel an obligation to help and would be happy to"::

::"Thank you Krix I will introduce you if I may"::

Johnny looked at Sara,

::"Sara, this is Krix, shes here to help you wile your grandma rests ok, the Medicine I gave her will fix her better but she needs to rest, wile she dos, Krix will keep the place warm and can make nice things to eat how dos that sound."::

the little girl looked at Krix zipping around putting the heater in place.

Its stopped in front of Sara,
"hello Sara, your nice, can I make you some cake, do you like cake, I like cake, it flitted over to the replicator as it pinged and a cake popped out."

The Little girl ran over Excitedly and tuck the cake sitting down she had forgotten Johnny, all ready playing with Krix.

The room was all ready getting warm and Johnny slipped out the door.

Storm was just outside, Walking to Storm s/he could her Krix say.
"Shall I tell you about numbers, there are many and they come in all shapes and sizes..."

Getting in they where soon in the air again, slipping away with out a sound.

::"When did you find her"::

::"When I had a little fly, A scan showed me the Adult was in trouble, so I called you."::

::"This place, its hard to take."::

::"yes it is but we do what we can, you know your going to be late to your class"::

::"Do your best Storm, At the moment that's the last thing on my mind"::

Soon they where back, Storm Displacing Johnny into class, late but there.

Cloaked in an aura that makes people's gaze slide over them like they aren't there, Taron and Kam hurry through the school as quickly as they can to get to the Hatchery. They were surprised the school even let them in at first. They were almost nervous wrecks by the time the slip into the Hatchery, thinking somone, anyone, they wanted to avoid would see them anyway. Kanebwati takes the music box as Taron goes immediately to his eggs. They were so happy to see their parents again.

One person caught her attention, how ever as she came walking over. She did not look well to her trained healer's eye.

While waiting for any response she stood patiently looking at the new students she'd not as of yet meet, a faint smile on her face.

"Oh...hi, Anahita," she said listlessly. "Umm...not really, I guess, but I don't know what's wrong. I don't seem to be ill or the fire would have helped."

"No problem." Taron tells his grandmother. After she leaves he looks at Kam with mock-awe. "Centuries of persecution at the hands of the Hunters, and you break her to the point she's hugging people."

"I never thought she'd be that close to me and I'd still be intact by the end of it..." Kam says with real awe in his voice.

Dave sits down and puts his arm around her, diming the flame but not extingusing it, "Anytime, when you feel bad, it makes me sad, if you ever want something from me, you need just ask" he rubs her back and lets the fire go out and returns to his food with his other arm.
She nodded, picking at her food. "I just don't know what's wrong with me. I guess I'll go to the infirmary later. I really, really want to go to my mathemagics class first, though. These weird episodes....I had another one in art class. I really need some questions answered."

Dave nods ovbiously concerned, he nods to Anahita before tuning back to his girlfriend, "if you think you'll be ok, I can have skeets look you if you want, he's good at that kind of stuff" he looks her over again, squeezes with his arm before lowering it so he can better eat, he pickes up a crab and eats it, forgeting to remove the shell.

'I want that too. I'm going to screw up too though. Maybe we can help each other in that area.' he displays with a smile. 'Well as long as we've agreed that we're both bad at it, let's go back to something I know you're good at.' Ehos pauses for a moment. He was gonna need something other than his scarf if this was going to be a regular thing. Too easy to fall off when it was just hanging off his neck. :Can I kiss you again, Jaiye?

She grinned. "I thought you'd never ask," she joked. "I would love to kiss you again," she said, turning more serious as she closed the small distance between them, deftly moving his scarf aside while holding it so that it couldn't fall...she'd known him long enough to know that having that scarf fall off was one of his biggest fears. And she wanted him thinking about kissing her and that was it.

@Vare, Zix, and the student with the metal-bird/horse/dragon thing(can't remember the name)

As everyone reaches the Headmaster's office, the door opens and he bids them to come inside and have a seat.

"Welcome to Avalon Academy, I'm Headmaster Ryo. What can I do for you?"

The Headmaster doesn't seem put off by the strange appearances of any of you at all.

@Ace and Kitty
Kitty can feel the water in front of her moving before a large serpentine head rises up a few feet in front of her. If the pattern visible on it's scales is any indication, this snake would have very bright coloration in light. One thing is for sure though: this is not an amphisbaena's head.

The serpent does nothing but watch Kitty, perhaps trying to warn her off, perhaps waiting for her to show fear so it can strike.

"Hello," she said in snake. "Please excuse us for disturbing you. We mean you no harm. We would like to go past. Would you please allow this?"

"Congratulations. I think teaching suits you."

"I don't mind at all. I was coming to find you to see if you wanted to pick up food on the way to the observatory, but conjured is fine."

"Professor Reading thinks I need to work on my people skills, at least, when I get intellectually engaged in something. So I'm looking forward to the challenge."

"Yes, let's do that. I'm sure you'll want to see that video. My conjured food isn't fantastic... but it's nourishment at least." Tyrrin and Ghalen head up towards the observatory, and are forced to skirt around a ugly-dressed unkempt man who seemed to be addressing the air with remarkable clarity.

"If you're anything like me, you will excel at it. Just from our frist meeting to recently, I can tell your people skills have improved greatly. I would have enjoyed seeing the progress. I, however have been in the library non-stop, but for classes and an odd concert with giant metallic dragons. Oh, and the war exercise. Regardless, I suppose my people skills need some work as well."

Gives the vagabond guy a look, but keeps pace with Tyrrin.
"Conjured food was often on the menu at the academy. You can't do worse, I assure you." He grins.
