"Great work!" Hew shouts to Lang. He locks his gaze on to the sorcerer climbing to his feet from the gust of wind. After a quick chant Hew runs his hand across the length of the blade. Leaving a light blue glow.

The sorcerer rolled to his back and raised his staff toward Hew. A fiery glow grew in intensity before launching out.

With a slash of the glowing blade the fireball dissipated away, leaving only a few embers floating to the ground. Quickly Hew charged ahead and slashed at the sorcerer. The blueish glow splashes out, as a frost spell, snap freezing the sorcerer's chest.

sorry Hew was trying to decide how to play this fight scene out, and getting caught up in Mel's story

The sorcerer reeling from the frozen pain looks for an opportunity to escape the frozen barrage. quickly unleashes a hail of missiles at both Hew and Lang. Hew is able to defend against the magic assault but Lang is ill prepared this time and several missiles strike Lang in the chest.

The sudden pain courses through Lang and he looses concentration on his flight and falls to the ground.

realizing the imminent thud Lang's instincts kick it and he manages to cushion himself on an air blanket before hitting.

Lang is down for a bit recovering from the hit. the barrier of air that was protecting both Hew and Lang is gone.

Sense motive DC 20:

Lang should have been prepared for that but for some reason he seems to be holding back. trying to give as much of the action to Hew

Mel looks worried.at the news.

I don't know. I love him and want his help, but I'm afriad he may not have the tact we need to pull this off.

Mel turns away from Ginni and sits down and begins to try an concentrate.

I am trying to make contact. but with the isolation properties of this room I can't get through. Ginni you will have to tell him I'm OK. and to stay nearby in case I need him.

Ginni nodded and walked to the doorway between the two rooms, stepping just a little bit into the outer room.

::Renkai? Can you hear me? It's Ginni. I'm trying to help Melody right now. She says to tell you that she's okay. It's a bit complicated. I can explain later. She probably won't remember most of this. Anyways, if you can stay near in case she needs you that would be good. But for now, let us keep working on solving this problem. Please.::

Rena watches, feeling a little unsettled at Shaypeer's reaction, though she doesn't tighten herself up at all, given that Asha was nestled in her feathered coils. "Why is he smiling like that?" she asks uneasily. "Is it typical for students to be called to the Sim Rooms?"

Since this was an excuse to get Midori back out into the school, we're gonna go with Gym showers. ;)

Midori follows the arrows eagerly towards her destination, trying to maintain a degree of stealthiness so as to avoid any more unpleasantness...

In short order, Archimedes finds himself in front of the Main Office. A plain door with a simple label indicates that he has arrived at his destination. Upon opening the door, he will find a middle-aged Elf sitting at a desk in an uncomfortable looking chair. Around him float several sheets of paper which appear to have pens floating with them. Forms filling themselves out. The Elf himself is well-dressed and looks up from his work on the desk as the door opens. There is a name plaque on his desk which reads "Mr. Quillblood, Scribe".

"Good afternoon young Master." the elf says professionally. "How may I be of assistance?"

There are several other doors in the room, one of which is labeled "Headmaster".

The elven scribe raises an eyebrow at the youth, taking a second look at him. One of the pens floating around him finishes it's task and ceases writing on the form, which then floats over into it's proper place in the filing cabinet next to the desk.

"Has our esteemed High Seer added a new title to his impressive resumé? he wonders aloud while a sheet of paper removes itself from a nearby stack and floats in front of the Scribe. A quill magically appears in the Scribe's hand, the tip already wet with ink. "If you are a new student, I will require your name before you speak with the Headmaster, if that is indeed who you seek. Tybalt will find outside the door to where Maya, Tryko'Sam and Vare, it's obvious the room is 'occupied', if that matters. If nothing else, it explains the brief pause before any response.

Within the room, Maya opens her eyes and says, "Were either of you expecting a visitor?"

Tryko'Sam shrugs, looking towards the door out.

Rising up, Maya goes towards the door and opens it, standing there to greet Tybalt.

"Hello, can I help you?"

Tryko'Sam wrote:

Stretching while slouching further into the couch, Tryko'Sam shrugs again and says, "Well, if she was being lusty, I can agree with that -- as for demon possession? No one's head spun around and music wasn't playing backwards or nothing."

Looking briefly over at Maya, then to Vare, he ponders something quietly, not that Vare might make this out in the waking world, and folds his arms on his chest looking off once more out the windows to the green field.

"She certainly did enjoy physical contact. I dunno about you, but, it's not a sin unless someone religious calls it out that way, right? Who's to actually judge that?"

Maya smiles lightly as if hearing the conversation, but seems to continue concentrating.

Vare shakes his head to Maya when she asks if he was expecting a visitor. While she goes to answer the door, he continues discussing with Tryko'Sam.

"You... have strange ideas regarding demonic possesion, Tryko'Sam. It can be subtle or it can be obvious. There are fairly simple spells which protect against these things, though to be completely certain we would need an actual test. Hopefully we do not get the chance." Vare says evenly, though something about what Tryko'Sam had said clearly bothered him at least slightly. Ruffled feathers, if you will.

"Lust isn't necessarily just the contact, and it doesn't necessarily have to apply to just... sex. It's about unceasing focus on fulfilling base desires to the detriment of self and others." Vare attempts to explain, though obviously he is slightly uncomfortable discussing sex so openly. Perhaps inexperienced in it personally.

Maybe he's busy... oh. Wait. Who's this?
The person Maya opens the door to is an amalgam of feline and humanoid features. It has pointed catlike ears that stand above the top of its head, tinted a light blue. Around the ears is a crop of jet black hair stood up in a messy fauxhawk with a streak each of teal, royal blue and purple. It has large-ish eyes that are mostly human with icy blue irises and a slitted catlike pupil. A short muzzle protrudes where a nose and mouth would be for a human with short whiskers on the sides of it and a blue cat type nose. It has a few more long whiskers from its upper cheeks. From the space between its eyes to down its neck is white with the rest of his head being black furred. It wears a white T-shirt and its arms are black with white fur gloved hands. It also wears a pair of loose jeans from which a long black tail protrudes with a cap of white. It has white cat type paws for feet with no shoes on. It is short, about dwarf size and has a thin physique.
There is a black folded table with some kind of wringer attachment leaned up against its leg and a basket of materials and other sewing supplies on the ground next to it. If you look closely there is a hedgehog curled up in the fabrics.
He pulls a closed smile as Maya opens the door.
"Uh. Hello there. The arrows said Tryko'Sam was here? I had my supplies with me and I remember he wanted some new clothes the other day. Is he here?"
He speaks in a voice that sounds a little like early teenage years, beginning to be deep but still a bit squeaky.

As for Shaypeer, he is a young male, human, impressive due primarily to his bearing, not his clothing or anything else. He definitely has an air about him of confidence.

"Yes, there is. Please come in. It would seem that there is a demon targeting students of Avalon. We've had several cases already, and it's come to our attention that you might be one of the affected. Once Miss Jones is finished with the student she's working with now, she would like to scan you as well to make sure, if you wouldn't mind," she said in a tone that clearly communicated that none of this was actually a request.

Mithros was piloting shuttle 4, which if Raelle asks is refueling on pad 12.

Raelle asked one of the crew if they knew where to find Mithros and they pointed her to pad 12 so she headed over, trying to find him so she could apologize.

"Mithros?" she called out, not sure whether he had stepped out of the shuttle for a break or if he was still inside.

Just as she's about to leave, she'l hear a groggy voice from within the shuttle.

"I'm here, just catching a little sleep while they refuel. Whay can I do for you, Miss Del Sol?"

Hermes pilots the shuttle back and forth was such robotic efficiency that air traffic begins to schedule him to take other shuttles' loads.

As this Shaypeer person, who might be part of the demonic problem enters, Silinrul bares his claws, ready to defend his sister. Or, he admits with an inward smile, to aid her in rending this potential threat to shreds.

"A demon targeting students? Do you mean the one that's going around eating people's emotions and affecting them subtly-- or a different one? I'm aware of a few demon or demon touched beings in the school. I'm fairly certain at this point I would fit into that category as well, though, I don't see as I've broken any rules. I most certainly have not imposed my abilities on anyone who didn't agree to anything. Scan me for what, though? I can see that your manner isn't one of polite requests, is this an inquisition?" He looks over at Miss Jones.

There's a continued confident look on his face, but he certainly doesn't come off as anything more than ..well, confident.

Neither of the Professors would recognize his physical appearance from any of the classes, though, depending on their memories, he does bare some familiarity to another student.

His name certainly isn't in the records as was given by Rena, or himself to her.
