The Avalon Chronicles

Game Master lynora

This is a high level rules light game set in a school for magical kids, kinda a mash-up of Soul Eater, Harry Potter, and X-Men. :)

Both Doppelganger Except younger looking Factotum 16/Taskshaper 6/Chameleon 10(Gestalt)

At this point, its really simple to just show up where n when you want. Hence why Ace took off to go save the day. I wanted to be where the action was.

male human monk 16

just thought a little continuity would be nice (maybe its just me and my way of thinking)

Male sorcerer 16 wilder (leader/telepath) 3 elocater 2, thrallherd 1, pyrokineticist 10.

you're not alone in that. there's no way you would have heard the crash from there unless the garden is connected to the lunch room and the ship drifted into it insted of simply a mostly open clearing.

Who knows where it is? Avalon is even more mutable than Hogwarts. Stuff moves around all the time, especially when it's convenient to the story. :)

Male sorcerer 16 wilder (leader/telepath) 3 elocater 2, thrallherd 1, pyrokineticist 10.

good point, so yeah given that the fairly quiet sound could be heard everywhere in the (non elementary) school.

Male sorcerer 16 wilder (leader/telepath) 3 elocater 2, thrallherd 1, pyrokineticist 10.

in any case it wasn't a loud explosion, it barely scratched the tower, and if it did heavily impact it, the engine would have probably backfired (I would roll a d8 with 1 2 and 3 means it backfires 1 being explosion, 2&3 being the engines slowly fails and it floats down to the ground, it's really old and banged up and I'm in the process of fixing it, it's not usually quite this unstable but he stopped in the middle of fixing something.

Rough morning. Slept through my alarm, got the kidlet to school an hour late, rushed back home to get ready to go to class, did manage to dash off a couple responses in the game while I was waiting for my flattening iron to heat up (because IMO, being late is still not an excuse to show up to class looking like a refugee from an eighties hair band) and made it to class only five minutes late. Here's hoping the rest of the day goes better than the morning did. :)

On the plus side, you got to sleep in!

A bit of good luck for the unlucky Drow!!!! FOR THE WIN!!! [happy dance]

Shadow Lodge

See, when I sleep in I just get a headache. :/

Male Kitsune Oracle/Soulknife (16 Gestalt)

Well, when I sleep in, I learn about all these posts that go on without me, and I panic, but then I see I'm not in any way involved, so I get all sad on the inside. ;3;

Male Drow gestal: tower shield specialist 16 /malefactor 16

when I sleep in I get tapdanced on by four dogs

Well, that's one way to look at it. :)

I've been fighting off a cold and it's left me cranky, tired, and unable to sleep for days. Apparently once I did get to sleep my body wasn't about to let that get cut short.

Now, now, the Canadian government has apologized for Bryan Adams on numerous occasions.

Male Dhampir Champion of Darkness, Order of the Gunslinger initiate

So there's a chance that the emotionally unstable dhampir and his beautiful now wife will be returning. ;)

Male Half-Elf

Darn, now I've got to apologize for taunting you in the infirmary.

Woohoo!!!! :)

We've basically just said you guys were off doing work for the Resistance so you're welcome to return from that at any time. :)

Male sorcerer 16 wilder (leader/telepath) 3 elocater 2, thrallherd 1, pyrokineticist 10.

Male Drow (noble) 14 Ranger

That avatar looks like a mix between Nic Cage and Percy from the Green Mile. It's creepy!

Silver Crusade

I know its cool, O "your long black hair" and there is no water in his bucket

Male Human Gestalt: Binder 16, Wizard (Enchanter) 6

How big are the lunchtables? we have me, Aron, Umbri, Ryckart, Sinspinner at one table... How many more people can i get to join our group?

Female awww, but that would be telling unknown

The lunchtables can hold at least twelve at a table, but there's lots of them, some of the tables are pretty close so often conversations happen even between adjacent tables.

Male sorcerer 16 wilder (leader/telepath) 3 elocater 2, thrallherd 1, pyrokineticist 10.

I was thinking that it varried from table to table, some seating four, some 8 some 12 some with benches, etc
EDIT: or what the DM just said XD

Male Human Gestalt: Binder 16, Wizard (Enchanter) 6

Good! I want everyone to sit with me :)

mini scene
thirty or fourty students and teachers at one table
"I am finally Popular!"

Male Drow gestal: tower shield specialist 16 /malefactor 16

and then my bad luck happens and the floor breaks under me, sending me into the basement

Male sorcerer 16 wilder (leader/telepath) 3 elocater 2, thrallherd 1, pyrokineticist 10.

and then I shout "yes!" as I drop the saw I was using for my revenge!

Male Drow gestal: tower shield specialist 16 /malefactor 16

not funny

Male sorcerer 16 wilder (leader/telepath) 3 elocater 2, thrallherd 1, pyrokineticist 10.

I thought it was funny, not neeeear funny enough to use in the story, espically as it's not in character but I find that it fits about as much as your statement does

RETIRED Seer 16 / Warlock 16

Actually I bet the basement is pretty interesting

Definitely. :)

Shadow Lodge

Male. Vaguely humanoid Ninja 3/Bard 1/Ranger 2/Scholar 1

note to self, tell the floating rock to check it out, I see myself busy for a while, first the Firebird, then the Headmaster... ain't that going to be fun, got in trouble before school starts, created (most of the reason for) the necessity of a change in the layout of the school, oh boy will he be nervous when he doesn't have a pretty girl to distract him, what fun for me :)
as a side note, while I think they're cool, I am no where neer as excited by the spelljammer ship as my character is, just saying

Male Drow gestal: tower shield specialist 16 /malefactor 16

you know, I've been sitting at a table in the cafeteria with a few people and apparently I'm invisible, so if I am ignored much longer, I'm going to break into random song and dance

Male Drow (noble) 14 Ranger

Weren't you asked to share your tale?

Male Drow gestal: tower shield specialist 16 /malefactor 16

I asked what about me they wanted to know and there was no answer

Male Drow (noble) 14 Ranger

Ahh...

Male Drow gestal: tower shield specialist 16 /malefactor 16

and now I've said something and I guess I'll wait longer.

Male Drow (noble) 14 Ranger

Yeah...well look at Gavin...he's so plain as to be invisible too!

Male Drow gestal: tower shield specialist 16 /malefactor 16

that's true

Male sorcerer 16 wilder (leader/telepath) 3 elocater 2, thrallherd 1, pyrokineticist 10.

if you guys are invisibility apparently I am more like living fairy fire, I'm dolling out barrels of exposition on my character, and constantly getting sidetracked from where he's trying to go.

Male Drow (noble) 14 Ranger

Indeed.

male Elf Image gestalt: A: 6 scholar / 14 inquisitor. B: 8 monk / 2 pathfinder chronicler / 10 ninja.

I did warn you Balamor.

Male Human Gestalt: Binder 16, Wizard (Enchanter) 6

Gavin gets to join our party! Now we need a QUEST [exciting music]

Male Kitsune Oracle/Soulknife (16 Gestalt)

It is about now I realize that it's near-impossible to keep up with things when people are posting every other minute; missing posts because they went before me always makes me feel like an idiot, and yet I've already committed to what the character was doing, so too late to go back. I can already tell this is going to be a problem in this game. Hopefully that doesn't actually become a problem, or else I may lose it and drop out. ><;;;

Male sorcerer 16 wilder (leader/telepath) 3 elocater 2, thrallherd 1, pyrokineticist 10.

ooh cool, do you have any openings for a mind specialist tank with an at will 10d6 fire attack?

don't worry this is an outlier, there are times where there are hours between posts, and then there are times like these, most of the time it's somewhere in the middle

Male Human Gestalt: Binder 16, Wizard (Enchanter) 6

Kris dont worry bout missing somethin, that's what the EDIT button is for... I use it constantly. You can always Retcon and that means everyone goes (that didnt just happen) so it goes off in a totally new way :) hope you stay, your character is more interesting than mine
