The only prestige class I think I'd take would be Evangelist, but I don't believe I can sacrifice my Oracle levels for that easily.
Edit: Green Faith Acolyte could possibly fit, as well.
Edit Again: Exalted. Oh my god, Exalted would be perfect with her campaign trait's lore about being close to a deity.

Found a few errors when I first posted the character, made an alias for Iolana Torilinni just to learn how and fixed them in there.

I'll echo Andanan on this; I'd prefer to keep the thread full of questions and relevant things so that people reading through can see what's already been done, instead of swelling the page count up with RP.
@Nicolae: There are humans. This is just an AP where it specifically states Aasimar and Tieflings are cool, and so it attracts players who want to run some more unconventional stuff.
@Saminjutsy: Yes, still open. "Everything" is available, insofar as I'm not choosing until recruitment is closed.
@Steave: Honestly running the gimmick group isn't something I'm going to put too much stock into. I won't actively try to avoid it if that's how it comes, but it's not something I'm committed to.
Anyway, here's the updated roster list again. If you aren't on it, I either f%&~ed up, or you haven't yet finished your application.
Archmage:
-Mia Rumsfield, Halfling Witch
-Aleister Sune, Tiefling Wizard (Conjurer, Teleportation Subschool)
-Alexander Grayson, Human Wizard

Bah, you guys are no fun. How am I supposed to make preemptive fun of all the players who do not get selected? I have seen some great role play in recruitment threads. Anyone who does not want to be involved does not have to, but for those of us who get bored, it is fun without filling up another game's IC thread - plus, there are a lot more people to ridicule . . . er, I mean role play with, in a Recruitment thread.
Drakra gives up on the suddenly quiet tavern with its reserved paladins and heads out looking for a more entertaining dive with Desna, Cayden and Calistria adherents.

It's mostly to keep the thread from being cluttered, and to keep from scaring people off. If there's already RP going on in the thread, it might discourage some people from applying since they're "late" to something. And also it means that I can't tell when there's a new post if it's a question, or if it's just someone roleplaying. And since it can't actually impact who I take or don't take, then someone might feel kind of defeated if they spend from now until Thursday roleplaying only to not get in.
Spooky GM
Does anyone other than Kyra need time? Because if not I might close recruitment tonight, assuming Kyra's done by then. There's still some dots that haven't posted, but inevitably some people will dot and then not follow through, so if anyone needs the time, now'd be the time to let me know. It's been over 24 hours since the last applicant, so I think we've slowed down enough that drawing it out until Thursday isn't going to bring in much more. That said, if people actually need the time, I'll keep it open to let them finish. I just don't want to hold my breath for nobody.

Frankly I just find it unpleasant. I have no objections to others doing it, just consider me the grinch in the corner.

Here is my submission for your consideration.
The character is a vanilla human fighter hoping to win redemption for past wrongs in the crusades. I wasn't sure if I should give him a nuetral alignment and have it change to a good alignment as the game progresses or just give him a good alignment. He was a thug and a killer for hire and he is now trying to become a better. As for progression he will be going into the champion mythic path. I may take levels in cleric or inquisitor later on as he grows in too it.
Valentinian Thorn human lvl 1 Fighter
The first thing I saw when I opened my eyes was the a curve of cut stone rising to meet another ceiling of a small chamber. This view was quickly replaced by the face of an old male elf. The elf smiled at me and spoke. His voice was a deep melodious baritone.
Your awake I see he rumbled how do you feel?
I'm not dead. I replied. The elf laughed.
An interesting response. he said How do you know you're not dead?
Because if I were dead, I said as I attempted to sit up in the narrow bed. I would be in hell. The elf helped me to sit up and swing my legs off the bed. I was in a small stone room. It's furnishings consisted of the narrow bed I was sitting on, the stool occupied by the elf, and a small table with an earthenware pitcher, a cup, and light lamp on it. I was naked, and looking down at myself I could see that I had lost a great deal of weight. The massive scars covering my chest and torso were new.
Well, you are correct you are not dead. The elf said as he picked up the pitcher and cup from table. You are however, lucky to be alive. As to where you are. You are in the temple of Sarenrae in Nerosyan. He filled the cup with water from the pitcher and held it out to me. Here drink this. You have been sleeping for several days. You must be thirsty. I hadn't felt the thirst until he mentioned it. When I took the cup I discovered how weak I was. I could barely raise the cup to my lips. I drank the cup of water, and then drank three more. by the time I finished the fourth cup the pitcher was empty and I was feeling refreshed and much stronger.
Is that better? The elf asked as he rose and moved to the rooms only door. He opened the door and spoke softly to someone waiting outside. He was dressed in white robes a had a large golden amulet in the shape of a stylized dove.
My name is Elthas. He said as he turned back to me. What's your name?
Garreth. I said the lie coming easily to my lips Garreth Black. Elthas laughed again.
I am sure you have given that name to the city guard at times but I meant your real name Valentinian. Hearing my real name instantly set me on alert. It must have shown on my face because the elf continued. Don't be surprised. The girl, Amber, told us who you are.
She . . .she's alive. I stammered. Relief washed over me and I slumped on the narrow bed.
Yes, she is alive. The elf said. You saved her, and Paladin Krychek saved the both of you. We can't let you see her though. She has been marked by a powerful demon. We sent her and her mother south to the churches headquarters with Paladin Krychek to guard them on the way. They will be safe there under the protection of Sarenrae.
There was a knock at the door. Elthas opened it to admit two young men also dressed in white. One was carrying a tray of food and another pitcher of water. The second was carrying a bundle of clean white clothing. Elthas helped me dress and then waited patiently while I ate. The food was simple but good. When I had finished eating I felt much stronger. Elthas asked if I felt strong enough to walk and when I indicated that I did he led me out of the small chamber and down a short hallway into some sort of common room. There were about a dozen people here. Mostly human but a few of other races. All were dressed in the same white robes that Elthas wore. As we crossed the common room Elthas warmly greeted several of these, but did not stop to converse. We left the common room and emerged onto the temples grounds. Elthas turned and led me along a covered walkway for several minutes before saying
Now Valentinian, would you like to tell me why you think you are worthy of Hell? The question hung in the air for several minutes while my mind raced back through the events of my life.
From the moment that demon appeared in that room I knew I was damned I replied somberly. I have not lived a good life. I am a thief, and a cutthroat. I am a bully and a thug for hire. Other people didn't mean anything to me. I didn't care who I hurt as long as the pay was good and that cult paid very good. That night was not the first time they had carried out that ritual, and it wasn't the first time I had help with it. Though I was never actually involved in the ritual, I delivered the victims, and guarded the door while it took place. I even kidnapped a few of the girls myself.
I see. said Elthas with a serious expression on his face. What made the last ritual different? I know you interfered and kept it from being completed. Why?
The girl. I said Amber. I knew her. I bought bread from her mother and her every time I was in their part of the city. I would buy sweat rolls from them and share them with her. She would sing me songs she made up while we ate? Elthas laughed at this, and I scowled. what's funny about that? I growled.
The ruthless hired killer befriended by the innocent little girl. Elthas replied It isn't funny. It is wonderful! A true miracle. the elf said with a grin. Tell me. What did you do when you realized it was her?
As soon as they had gone in to begin the ritual I killed the other guy guarding the door. Then I slipped inside. I explained as we continued to walk through the temple grounds. I must have waited too long before going in, because I had hardly any time at all before demon showed up. There were about a dozen cultists inside, five more than had gone in with Amber. I can only assume they were there already. I killed four of them including the leader, at least I think he was the leader. He was the one that usually paid me. That was about when the demon started to emerge. I knew I needed to get Amber, and get out of there. I wasn't fast enough though. I jumped up on the Alter and cut her free. By then the demon was there in the room. It ripped the cultists to shreds then came for Amber and me. I tried to fight, but it caught my sword in one of its claws and shattered it like it was made of glass. It hit me in the head and knocked me across the room. I don't remember what happened after that, but I am guessing from the scars on my torso that it wasn't finished with me.
Your story matches what paladin Krychek and the clerics and inquisitors him reported. Elthas replied nodding. Krychek said they arrived to find you facing the demon with a broken sword. You were trying to protect Amber from the demon. That was about when the demon disemboweled you. One of the clerics was able to heal you enough to save your life while Krychek and the others banished the beast. You disrupted the ceremony in time to keep the cultist from corrupting Ambers soul. We are not sure what the cultist were trying to do but your actions prevented them from succeeding. We know that you absorbed some of the energies that were part of the ritual but we are unsure what, if anything, they have done to you. We would like you to stay here at the temple for a time while we try to find out.
I have no objection. I said and stopped walking. Elthas stopped with me. To be honest I have nowhere to go and feel weak as a kitten.
___________________________
I spent three years there at the Temple of Sarenrae. Elthas and the other clerics were never able to determine if the energies I absorbed when I disrupted the ritual had done anything to me. The events of the night of the ritual left me scarred, in not only body but soul. I spent many nights in the small chamber the temple gave me wracked with guilt over the sins of my past. I never recovered my former strength after I recovered from my injuries. Elthas said that maybe it was to help me to learn to rely on Sarenrae for strength. I told him I didn't think Sarenrae had any forgiveness for me let alone strength. Elthas told me I was an idiot and if I was finished feeling sorry for myself he would teach me how to use a real sword. that was when he started to teach me to use an Elven Scimitar(Elven curved Blade). He taught me that speed and agility are just as important to a fighter as brute strength. This was a real revelation to a kid from the street like I was. I almost didn't believe him, but then I saw him take apart three gigantic half-orc thugs that tried to shake him down in the shades.
I enjoyed my time at the temple training and studying with Elthas and the other clerics and paladins that called the temple home, but I still struggled with my guilt. One day I asked Elthas what I could do to gain forgiveness and be free of my past. Elthas told me that he thought I was making great progress towards that goal already, but if I didn't think it was enough there was always the crusade. Which brings me here to Kenabres, and the edge of the worldwound. Elthas gave me one of his Elven Scimitars, and a copy of Sarenrea's holy book . They had kept the chain shirt I was wearing when they found me, and even managed to repair the damage done too it by the demon that nearly killed me. If only a life could be repaired as easily, but that is why I am here to try to make up for the wrongs I have done and repair the rents in my soul.

Valentinian face is marked by seven large scars that stretch from his left ear to his nose he was very lucky not to have lost his eye. The scarring makes it impossible to smile with the left side of his face so when he smiles he looks lopsided. Valentinians typical clothing consists of sturdy boots, leather breeches, and a linen shirt. Over this he wears his chain shirt with a leather vest on top of that. He wears a red scarf wrapped around his waist under a wide leather belt. His Elven Scimitar (Elven curve blade) hangs at his left side balanced on the right by a shortsword and a pair of daggers. A thick hooded cloak of natural wool and leather clove complete his outfit.

I can say with certainty that I have been discouraged from applying due to feeling "late" to the RP.
Of course, sometimes it's impossible to resist.
I know the feeling.
I also hate getting too deeply invested in a character only to not be selected. It makes it difficult for me to take that character to a different game in the future.

That's happened to me once... and I'd rather not have it happen again. The poor thing was a semi-evil Psionic character, too, so it's nearly impossible to put him into recruitment.
Spooky GM
Honestly, I'd pin that more on the monotony of running the same game five times, and the fact that managing thirty characters is a nightmare for someone unless they're frigging mental.
Although I am. And it might be the sleep deprivation talking but I'm kind of considering it now. Because selecting right now is looking pretty brutal, and honestly Wrath of the Righteous is the game I've waited my entire fantasy-loving life for, so two parallel games might not be too bad.
I'd feel really bad for whichever of the three Hierophant applicants get the shaft, though.
Amanda Mayweather
I'd feel really bad for the three Champions who got the shaft, the four Guardians who got the shaft, the two Tricksters who got the shaft... Honestly, I'd feel bad for anyone who got the shaft, as everyone's put a ton of work into their character.
Crap, it sounds like I feel sure that I'm going to get in. Sorry.
Also, go to sleep!

It's been over 24 hours since the last applicant, so I think we've slowed down enough that drawing it out until Thursday isn't going to bring in much more.
I had been thinking the same, glad you'll be wrapping up recruitment soon. Looking forward to where this goes, especially if I get to go with it!

Well, two games doubles Petravius' chances, so I can't complain about that seed being planted. :)
If your only reason for not doing it is concern about that one Heirophant feeling singled out in his/her exclusion, I'm sure we can get one or two more Heirophant applicants to share in the misery of not making the (double) cut. ;)
Spooky GM
@Abdul: I'm not, because that adds yet another layer of bookkeeping and variables to this that even if I were a consistently well-rested man (and I am that by no means) I wouldn't want to keep track of. If someone drops, we have reserves, or if it happens too far down the line I can just rerecruit.
@Menedemus: I already have three games, and spend much of my very open day just F5ing my campaigns list to see if there's a new post. I think I'll be fine.

I'd like to submit Caladrel Nox as my Champion. I'll probably stay Lore Warden unless I can find a class that compliments him.

Wrath of the Wicked?
And cross-party shenanigans are fun.
In a Reign of Winter that I'm playing here, we've done a tug-of-war against the other party.
Surprisingly, our skinny female Time Thief time pulled way harder than our Barbarian and Samurai. O.o

Bah! There are too many Champions in this thread. We need more Tricksters and Hierophants.

I'd play that.

@Amanda: I think what he means is, at some point having a party fight a copy of the other party as enemies.
@Caladrel: Alright, you're on the list. Surprised to see two applications in a row be Elven Curve Blade Fighters.
Yeah I was finishing my crunch and saw the other submission and thought to myself, "Well thats great, ahwell, I'll submit anyways."

I'd actually love to, at some point, take an evil approach to Wrath of the Righteous. I mean, demons aren't hated by just the good guys.
Evil options would be:
Asmodeus and his buddies (obvious one)
Daemon cultists (killing is killing and they want the end times on their terms)
Qlippoth cultists (the only thing Qlippoths hate more than mortals are demons.)
Lamashtu cultists (Deskari, the guy behind the Worldwound, is the son of Pazuzu, Lamashtu's greatest enemy. Could work).
And then there are the countless other evil group who might have their own motivations, like Zon-Kuthon or Norgorber followers. You could also sprinkle in some Gorumites, aka Low Templars, who are just there because demons offer a nice challenge.
Tirion Jörðhár
Hmmm, what we really need right now is another WotR campaign to quickly appear and select all the extra submissions so that all that is left is the few, the brave, the unwanted. The we could be Team Unwanted, and the second (hypothetical) party could be Team Unwanted 2, the team that got picked on the playground AFTER the last person was picked.
Spooky GM
Wrath of the Wicked would be neat, but I'm already running Way of the Wicked and this is supposed to be the campaign full of goodness and light that offsets the villainy.
@Tirion: That'd be great, but I feel like there's something cyclical that will always keep new people coming in and there's likely that one person who regrettably never gets accepted into games even though they apply in every thread.

There actually was a recruitment for an evil WorR campaign where the players were actually cultists who were infiltrating the good guys. I have no clue if it worked, but the idea was interesting.

Trying to carry any useful items I can think of, but I'm an Oracle. ;~; Me no likey carrying things. ;n;
There, now I can update the alias thing easily. I'm not great with adding all this stuff up in my head and typing it out that way. It's much easier for me to do that once I have a sheet in front of me.

Finally putting up a back story, much different than what I'd originally planned - and adding another contender for Heirophant :)
Pitborn Tiefling, Oracle of Life (Lame Curse), Heirophant
Role: Healer with a mix of party buffer/battlefield control spells.
Plans: Straight up oracle.
Regarding the redemption theme: This will be a point of character growth and development for Sathane, particularly in regards to any cultists and demons that may seek redemption.
Sathane was conceived under the most horrific of circumstances. His mother Desmia, a paladin of Sarenrae, was captured by cultists and then given over to an incubus for his pleasure. If there is an appropriate named incubus in the campaign could add the specific creature here.
Whatever the demons final plans were for Desmia, they were never quite completed as Desmia's companions found and freed her from his clutches, though the foul demon escaped their vengeance. Sathane was both a joy, and terrible memory to his mother as she raised him. Unable to to any longer face the horrors of the Worldwound Desmia raised Sathane cloistered away from much of the public. His scaly skin often caused no small disturbance when brought out in public anyway. While there were those who symphathised with Desmia, many, including a few from her own order, said the child should be slain, for no good would come of this abyssal offspring.
Though emotionally and physically scarred, Desmia's heart held true to her goddess, and she vowed to raise Sathane according to the precepts of Sarenrae. Despite the black circumstances of Sathane's being Desmia held to the belief that all creatures have the freedom to choose their own path in life, and in so doing bless the lives of others.
As Sathane grew older he often snuck out to roam the streets of Kenabres in the dead of night. The first few times he was caught by his mother doing so, to which he meekly accepted her chastisement. But rather than curb his desire to be out, he instead learned to be more surreptitious about it. On one such outing he ran afoul of a small band of less than savory character and was left beaten and bleeding, dying in a back alley. In this state of delirium Sathane dreamed of a great golden hound, Charlabu, herald of Sarenrae, and in a moment of lucidity Sathane's powers manifested themselves, his hands glowing with the same golden light as the hound, he touched his wounds and found his pains soothed away. Despite the healing the experience left him a cripple though, one leg forever twisted.
Unable to hide his new limp, Desmia questioned him thoroughly, and weeping came to understand she could not shut the growing pitborn away any longer, but that she must teach him the ways of war as well. Sathane did not have the natural aptitude of his mother with blades and other weapons, but he learned enough to fend for himself, and learned enough wisdom from his previous experience to not find himself in a situation similar to that which left him crippled.
During all these growing years Sathane learned bit by bit, and piece by piece, from both his mother and her few associates, his history. His heart was torn by what his mother taught him of Sarenrae, and his desire to rend and destroy the demons that broke past the wardstones. His heart sometimes yielding to the compassion and patience instilled by his mother, and at other times seething with anger for what had been done to her. At his coming of age then it was no surprise that he signed on with the crusades.
His mother, though only 35 years of age but looking that of an 80 year old, the ordeals and stresses of life overtaking her body, prayed earnestly that the light of Sarenrae would prevail in her son to overcome his abyssal heritage. That Sathane would learn to temper the anger that sometimes simmered underneath.
Spooky GM, I'd appreciate any comments regarding alterations, weak points in the back story, etc.

Ok, so how many non-tiefling/aasimar do we have? Lets see:
Aasimar - 6
Tiefling - 8
Human - 9
Half-elf - 3
Halfling - 1
Gnome - 1
Oread - 1
Elf - 1
Everything else - 0
For those who are interested, here is a basic race breakdown of the submissions. Humans are holding a slim lead followed closely by some celestial and infernal touched. Half-humans bring up a distant fourth with a few stragglers taking the last spot, just ahead of everyrace else that has chosen this holy war is not for them.

Sorry to make your life harder Spooky, but I want to post this now since it is looking like recruitment is winding down.
Unfortunately, I am posting from my tablet so I will have to be brief and not too detailed, but just tell me if I need to add more to be considered and I will.
Name: Kyris Dawnfeather
Race: half-elf
Age: 17
Class: Bard 1 (however, he will dip slightly into Paladin at story appropriate moment and then prestige into Dragon Disciple.)
Mythic path: Archmage. (Though I he could also move to heirophant, guardian, or champion if needed to and I have back stories prepared for each)
Kyris never knew his parents growing up. For as long as the boy could remember, it has only been him and Alfred growing up in a middle-class esque estate near the north gate. However, Kyris never felt as if he was missing out not knowing his parents, as Alfred raised the boy in a loving home, treating the boy as if he was his own flesh and blood. In fact, it was due to Alfred's constant tales of his father's and mother's great deeds as crusaders that Kyris grew to become enraptured with storytelling, his own abilities in the art flourishing as he grew up and recounted to memory the all the heroic tales that Alfred told to him. Furthermore, Alfred also taught the boy how to live a virtuous life, keeping and respecting the teachings of all the good gods, reminding him to revere and respect all of them and their followers in their own way.
In all Kyris is enamored with the stories he has heard, and he looks forward to the up coming festival in Kenabres that he is attending with Alfred as a chance to hear more wonderful and exciting tales about the crusade.
WHAT KYRIS DOESN'T KNOW (Would be in spoilers but I am new at posting and not really good with them)
Kyris's father was not just any crusader, he was a powerful Riftwarden, a legacy that was passed down to Kyris by the tattoo on the back of his neck. Alfred was his father's friend and contemporary, a Riftwarden as well, who has now retired and kept that part of his life secret to fulfill his father's last request to keep his son safe from demons that would harm him. Furthermore, Alfred has not told Kyris that his mother is NOT dead, but is in fact the great silver dragon Tendeelev. She has visited Kyris on occasion at the house as 'an old friend of Alfred and Kyris's parents', always in disguise as an elderly woman named Martha.
