Background:

Taranis is a strong headed individual. Raised amongst his lessers, he is more than ready to show his superiority over those around him. Despite his cockiness, Taranis can be kind and makes a point of taking care of his friends (both physically and financially). Always willing to participate in a brawl, friendly or not, Taranis tends to act before it thinks.

Taranis Nox grew up on the isolated island of Hermea in a somewhat tribal society. As such, most of his experience with other races and ideals is largly based on the surley port city of Promise. During his early years, the village elders recognized a supernatural power growing within him. As he approached adulthood he was challenged with going into the world and returning with a something that the village had never seen. Puzzled by request, Taranis boarded a ship and set off on his quest. That was 4 years ago. Still he searches and still he has not found what his he believes is something worthy of his quest.
