Lito de'Anora |
wow, she really doesn't like that I told her to be quiet!. Lito says with a grimace.
Then he 5'Steps back and stabs t the snake again using Besmara as a flanker and inspiring others to follow.
Rapier + Inspiration + Flanking: 1d20 + 6 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 6 + 2 + 2 = 29
Damage + Inspiration + Arcane strike: 1d6 + 1 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 + 2 + 1 = 10
Confirm Crit: 1d20 + 6 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 6 + 2 + 2 = 16
Crit Damage: 1d6 + 1 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 + 2 + 1 = 9
Inspire Courage +2 Round 7/14
Besmara __ |
Besmara also keeps stabbing at the snake.
Stab: 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 10 + 2 = 291d6 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 + 2 = 5
Stab: 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 10 + 2 = 19
"How long will that quiet last?" Besmara asks, not willing to wait until the lightning starts again.
Estelle Numbduster |
Estelle will run after the lady after drinking her potions.
Can I appear next round?
Estelle Numbduster |
How high is Isabella?
Estelle sees the battle taking place, she puts her back against the door and looks at the wicked woman who scorched her.
Smiling Estelle takes a running jump at the woman to drag her down out of the air.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 11 = 21
To grapple the woman: 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 9 + 2 = 29
Inspire courage is up? if not grapple is only +9
Besmara __ |
Fall Damage: 7d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 2, 5, 6, 2, 6) = 28
Acrobatic: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19
Besmara follows Estelle down into the fray. She jumps onto a poor guy that breaks down on impact.
Stab: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (16) + 14 = 301d6 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 2 + 4 = 7
And she finishes him off with a stab between the ribs.
Besmara shares the damage with the guy she lands on. With her acrobatics she avoids the first ten foot of damage. The guy doesn't. Which means the guy gets 14 points damage and Besmara 11 and 1 non lethal.
GM Foxy |
Besmara is lucky that between those blinded, the ones who try to climb the tower, the greased area and the ones that are killed inside the fray isn't as thick as when it started. But there are still a few who waited for their turn to stab someone.
Cutlass: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 151d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Estelle Grins and punches at the woman she has taken down.
*automatic damage?* Rib Punch: 1d8 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 5 + 2 = 11
I guess I don't get the +2 from Lito anymore
Lito de'Anora |
I believe this is the last round of silence :(
Oh Crap! I can't see her, she's going to get lose! And someone stop that snake!
Lito runs over to the edge to get line of site on the wizardess again, but knows it's too late to keep up the silence. So instead he starts shoulting encouragement knowing that at least thee others will have a bonus when the silence ends.
Switch back to inspire courage Verbal (Round 8/14) so those below and up here both get it, as Silence is a full round action to cast, and I had to move to get line of sight as They dragged Isabella down, so I can't cast it this round..
GM Foxy |
McCleagh hits a buccaneer hard. But not hard enough. Noonan shows him how it is done. The guards press outside to rough the buccaneers up, killing the one McCleagh started on.
Estelle punches the last life out of the sorceress and lands on the ground. Looking around grimly for the next one to take apart she scares some of the buccaneers.
confusion remedy: The fight is now completely in front of the main tower entry. Only Lito and the fleeing snake are still on and in the tower. And yes, Lito is too far away to inspire us.
GM Foxy |

Some of the guards start to think this might have been a bad idea to give up the cozy spot inside.
Lito de'Anora |
In that case:
Lito turns around and runs back down the tower stairs looking for the snake:
Perception to find snake: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 27
As he runs he calls to Agasta (Who I think is still on top of the tower of the tower with him): Not exactly what I had planned, but well you did want entertainment...
Estelle Numbduster |
Edit:
Estelle will step up from the body of the sorceress, moving towards her fellow crew mates as they try to fend off the attackers.

Estelle knocks one out taking advantage of the preparation work of the guards. Noonan rips another one apart on his own.
With Lito back again the guards are inspired to hack hteir way through the enemy lines and the dwindling numbers and the ever greater number of officers dealing out pain persuades the buccaneers. They step back and stop the fighting and check if surrendering is still an option.
Lito de'Anora |
Huff, Huff Still fighting down here? Onward! Show them why so many Pirate crews have broken upon the Rock, but the Rock still stands!
Inspire courage +2 (Round 9/14)
Estelle Numbduster |
"Yer wizard be dead, just throw down yer weapons and surrender." Estelle moves closer to Besmara to back her up.
Besmara __ |
"Nah. Keep yer weapons, get into your boats and go back to yer ship. There ye tell the other crew to stand down and wait for orders from me. Our ship will come alongside and then we talk. You see what we did to you and your captain. Guess what we could do with the support of our pirate crew. If anyone attacks or tries to flee with your ship this offer and your lifes are forfeit."
Turning to her officers she adds "Get the dead sorceress to our boat and let's head over to the Kraken."
She nods to McCleagh "It was an honor to fight with you. Please take care of your guards. As soon as we're done here I'll send our cleric."
GM Foxy |
As the sorceress' body is moved to the boat you notice that the large tatoo on her is actually a map.
Nearly a century ago, Free Captain Cyrus Wolfe, a black-hearted rogue with an even blacker gift for the dark arts, plied the waters off the western coast of Garund and brought fear to hundreds of ship’s captains and crews. His daring daylight raid on the fortified Thuvian port of Aspenthar directly under the nose of that city-state’s admiralty left a dozen of the principality’s warships in f lames and over a hundred of its citizens carried off as captives for ransom. For that grand audacity, Wolfe was offered the Hurricane Crown by his fellow Free Captains, but it is said that he simply laughed in their faces.
After 3 decades of terrorizing the shipping lanes, Captain Wolfe made his biggest haul ever when he surprised a convoy of Katapeshi treasure ships returning from secret mine holdings on the coast of southern Garund. It is believed that Wolfe divided up his treasure and hid it in several different sites, but the locations of most of them have been lost to time. However, one name has stayed at the forefront of maritime legend as the location of his spoils—Mancatcher Cove.
To dispose of the most valuable portion of his plunder, Captain Wolfe selected an uncharted island somewhere in the Shackles—an island shrouded in dense jungle and surrounded by forbidding cliffs save for one cove said to be so deep that it descended all the way to the pits of Hell. There Wolfe hid his treasure, reputedly using his sorcerous powers to reach down into the very heart of Hell to summon forth a guardian beast to crush any ships that dared anchor in the cove. Before departing, Captain Wolfe made a map of the island and the location of his treasure. However, less than a year later he was captured by a f lotilla of ships commissioned by the queen of Aspenthar and the Pactmasters of Katapesh. Even under torture, Wolfe refused to divulge the location of his ill-gotten treasure, and so he was hung from a gibbet over the harbor of Aspenthar, where his bones were picked clean by gulls and crows as a warning to others.
Since then many of Captain Wolfe’s treasure troves have been located and looted, and copies of his map of Mancatcher Cove have likewise managed to find their way into the hands of fortune seekers. However, unlike at Wolfe’s other caches that were looted, those few ships that came to Mancatcher Cove in search of the fabled treasure were never seen again—victims, it was whispered, of the Beast of Mancatcher Cove. In time, the last few copies of Wolfe’s map were lost, and the hunt for the greatest hoard of Captain Wolfe’s treasure subsided, leaving little more than an old sea dog’s legend.
