Estelle is one out of four messengers which seems to be a little excessive. And indeed Mr. Plugg gives his messages to Conchobhar and ignores Estelle.
Also the ship will probably sink as the bilge is manned by only two :P

She moves sort of in front of him to get his attention, not speaking but making her presence known.


Fishguts sits down with with Trytton and a mug of rum. He tells how miserable hsi life is and that it's only bearable when drunk. And he complains about the ship. "It’s poison, this ship, but don’t let anyone hear you say it aloud. The hull listens, see, and the cap’n hears it all. Poison the Wormwood is, though, rotten to the core. You’ll not meet a more nasty, sour piece of work than Cap’n Harrigan in all your days at sea, and his crew’s the same, ’specially the first mate, Mr. Plugg. Vicious little sod, he is. He’d take his own mother’s liver to the butcher to make pies with, he would. But they leave me alone, mostly. They know I can’t ’arm ’em." He furhter talks and drinks himself into a stupor.


Mr. Plugg looks at Estelle "Don't stand around. Get yer sorry arse to the bilge."

Trytton spends his time drinking his rum, clean as it were. Listening to the stories.
When Fishguts says he cant harm them he asks "Why?


"That lad, is none of yer business. But have ye noticed ma bird here. Ye know sometimes he talks ta me. This cock is better than a parrot." He pats the bird sitting on his shoulder.

Trytton laughs softly at the joke, "Can I get you a refill?" he asks, standing and pouring a new mug for Fishguts


"Yeah. Fill it but not with that shit. Get a good bottle from that cupboard!" Fishguts demands. Checking in the cupboard you find two bottles of fine wine that is for the officers only.

Estelle over works clearing out the bilges, since there are less people and they have to work harder. She is beat and once the day is over she retreats to bed.

Trytton nods and fetches a new mug, opening one of the bottles he pours it into the mug for Fishguts.
"If everyone on this boat is so bad, why don't you try leave?"


Fishguts has had enough rum to not care and tells "I lost ma life in a bet to the Captain." He takes another swig from the mug. "Why don't YE leave?" he chuckles.

After telling some more stories of his former life where he were a famous cook in Prot Peril and the fastest eater in the whole Shackles he nods off, snoring loudly. After an hour or two he starts waking up noisily again but is in no condition to accomplish anything.

While Fishguts is out cold Trytton decants the full bottle of wine and the open one into two rum bottles and leaves the empty wine bottles on the table, so as to make it look like Fishguts drunk them while drunk.

He then is off to find Grok to pay of his and Noonan's debt.
Perception to see if someone sees him leave kitchen: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

The pirates with mop duty notice Trytton leaving the caboose but he sees no officer who could notice him.


Grok is in the quartermaster’s store at this time of day and has the serving hatch open. As she sees Trytton her eyes brighten. "Ye have me drink?

"What can ye pay for?" Grok asks back while ogling the bottles in her hand licking her lips.

Lito makes sure that he is good with Besmara before moving on to his task.

He does what he can to catch the rats in this place, while also making sure to note all the major sections on the ship.

@GM Foxy, can we get a list of all the major areas of the ship we can interact with? Bilge, Mess, Quartermaster, Deck... What else? {Hold, Officers Quarters, etc.) Just trying to figure out good places we can search for stuff.

Assuming I can influence a person not doing my same job
While making his rounds, Lito comes across Jack Skimshaw who is working on a particularly tangled Rope. Seeing that he is struggling, Lito takes a little time out of his task to attempt to help him and strike up a conversation.

Diplomacy to increase Jack's feeling about me + Story bonus: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 4 + 2 = 25

Jarrus nods to Sandara and smiles before his deck mopping takes him to the other side of the deck. Eyes always darting around taking note of who's who, always keeping an eye on the My Plugg and Scourge specifically. He ponders the best way to take the ship. Thinking that pretty much is the only way he can get through this. While looking at one of them someone else gets in his eye line and thinks he's looking at them. Barefoot Samms Toppin by name. When he notices her noticing him "noticing her" he stammers a little.

"Wha.. er, aye. G'day ta ya. Well as good as can be 'spected considerin. Yer Samms Toppin yes?" he says and continues mopping the floor while he talks.

"Why would ya wanna know?" Toppin replies looking around if an officer watches.

Yep, virtual performance next level covers diplomacy and sense Motive. Wishing I had made a different choice now, but I didn't know what to expect. I just need to survive to level 2...

Estelle notices that her attempts at being nice are met with confusion and resentment. She continues to use the bilge pump and ignore the rest of the people down stairs. When she switches off she looks at the prisoners in chains then through the boxes as well.
