Got home late and tired. No update sorry.
No update due to bad health. (Not Covid).
Went to the Doctor today. It seems the anti-inflammatory's I take to deal with my many aches and pains have been ripping through my stomach lining.
Giving me a great deal of Acid-reflux. Which is very painful and constant.
She's given me something to fix my stomach lining, and changed my anti-inflammatory's. Seems to be working as I'm not in pain for the first time in week.
Resting today and regaining energy, sleeping has been difficult when you keep burping up acid in the night to go with the abdominal pain.
So things are hopefully back to normal Monday.
She also booked me in for my booster shot tomorrow when I told her I couldn't get the system to work for me. Very good doctor!

This is apparently the week for failed saves. In another game, a failed will save has be undressing mid combat....fortunately scale mail takes a whole minute to remove.

Not for me! Ashlei is way too much fun for her to die on a stinking island in the middle of nowhere, to some rando monster!!
Definitely need a few castings of Remove Fear and Swallow your Fear prepped tomorrow. Damn that thing was nasty.
So definitely things that will be prepped for the next encounter with these bastards.
Anti-incorporeal shell
Dimensional anchor (locked onto material plane)
Remove Fear (+4 vs fear /suppress active fear effect)
Swallow your Fear (negate panic effects, bonuses if affected by fear)
Ghost whip
There is also 'Ghostbane Dirge' spell if we can cast that at all...(Cleric spell)
Makes incorporeal targets take full damage from magic and magic weapons.
So basic plan...
1. We heal up and rest, and memorize the appropriate spells.
2. We then head for the fort at dawn, keeping together and an eye out for the phase spider kidnappers.
3. Just before we enter the big building to confront the 'scary lady', we power up with the best spell protections we can, protecting Rhialla as best we can as she has all the best spells we need to defeat the monster.
4. I can try and keep it busy by moving to engage the thing directly, since my magical armor provides some basic protection from the monster. While you guys pelt the thing from range with weapons and spells.

Sounds good, and like I said with the combination of Remove fear and Swallow your Fear, if you move outside of the protective area, Fear effects will actually give you a combat bonus at that point.

I picked up some form of bug over the weekend. No update while I sleep it off.
Still spending too much time in the bathroom to update.

Fair warning, won't get a post in till tomorrow night. S#+$ kinda hit the fan at work so we're in clean up mode and I didn't get much time this weekend as it was both my mother's birthday, and then mother's day.
