Respecting Nasir's command, the mamluks focus their attacks on the hyena within reach cutting it down. Another warrior slave knocks a slave unconscious with the pommel of his heavy sword.
Garavel looks unperturbed by the arrival of the veiled fiend. "Undra. It seems the div continues to plague us." He keeps a wary eye on the advancing line of gnolls however. To Karethas he responds, "I have no alchemists fire, but would be glad to thrown any you might have."

Overhearing the discussion, Varkata sends a beam of burning light at the hovering burqa covered fiend. The div hidden within shrieks its outrage as the scorched holes in the cloth reveal a supple feminine form now severely burned.
"Ayiie! Who are your new friends, Wizard? I preferred the beautiful fool of an elf. It is a pity some slave orc now wields the Lioness' Bow though I wonder if it was really her skill or the bow's magic that was truly to fear."
The seductive fiend's pondering is interrupted as Nasir runs around the panicked mount to slash at the hovering creature. His scimitar only further rends the damaged burqa as the dark form blinks away again. Nasir has no time to look for his foe as the gnolls rush forward!
One lucky slave dodges a hyena bite and gnoll spear to make a dash for freedom. The other has no such choice and swings a club at one of the mamluks injuring the warrior slave. Driven to a blood fury, two gnolls fall upon the injured ally and he falls to a spear wound. His companion blocks a third gnoll spear.
Varkata finds herself beset by three more gnolls. She easily knocks aside two spears but suffers injury from the third. Varkata-7 pierce Garavel hacks at the offending gnoll bloodying it. The remaining mamluks are hard pressed, but one manages to cut down another gnoll.

A shining cloud of swirling golden particles appears around the giant coating him and the basket on his back. Poking up from the basket, you now see a third head. It is somewhat large and ungainly for what must be a small body within the basket. The small form claws at its eyes and shouts something in a booming tongue.

With the problems with map updates, I'm not sure -- how many foes are in close range of us -- are we only worrying now about the ettin and gnolls in the back?

Kzrira Maiwith |

Personally, I would prefer being raised and then return with my full abilities. I do more damage with the mamluk, 16 str vs 12 str, but am much less accurate because of the lower dex.
Also, I do not know the mamluk's hp, but I doubt it is anywhere close to mine, so he will be the first target for any gnoll archers.

Varkata Steeleye |

Ok, I was just trying to determine if it was worth channeling to heal our party -- I'd rather not heal the gnolls just to have to kill them again, and I can only exclude 2 with Selective Channel.

Kzrira Maiwith |

They are all down and should be put out of their misery. Just move the group away from the downed gnolls since there is nobody threatening us right now.

She waits, keeping an eye on her companions and when she thinks them all to be in range, she reaches for the holy symbol suspended from the chains on her ear, closes her eyes and releases a warm burst of energy... The energy rolls over her companions, giving everyone a warming feeling that starts in their stomachs, as if they'd just taken a pull of a fine whisky that eases their pain.

Indeed we need to end this now, I'd not have the city harassed by her desire for trouble again if we can stop it here. I will take to the sky above us as we move with haste to close the gap. Kzrira we need the little ones killed faster than the giant. If there are 5 of us and only it and the div we are better off than swatting at those flies.
With that Amir will move up about 30' and then wait to progress forward with the others.
