Kast Phaer |

Kast completes the unhappy duty of binding the goblins tightly...but with enough rope so that they might walk. He does so knowing full well how foolish the acceptance of surrender was...yet knowing he was bound to the decision.
When that is complete, he will pack up what needs to be packed up...as it turns out, Kast, though crippled, can carry *a lot* before it slows him down.
When the party is ready to move back to Sandpoint, he again takes the rear, almost hoping that the goblins try to escape and so he might rid the world of them.

Amren Slyblade |

I haven't made a loot log. I don't think I'll have the time to keep up with doing it by myself, but I can help with one. If someone else will set up the document, like on google docs, I'll plug in everything we've found so far. Sound good?

Lokien Forge |

Loot List Link up.
Seeing the combat is over, Lokien seeing that Kast has taken over the onerous and thankless job of binding their prisoners does head over and thank him.
"Even though I sense Disapproval from most of you, I'm glad that we did not fall to the goblins' level. My thanks for your aid in securing the prisoners and in the fight. You fought well."
Lokien speaks to the party as well in general.
"Mayhaps it be time to search this place throughly for any clue as to who could be the major backup for these goblins. Questioning these runts might give us usefull infomation."
Once the party is ready to move back to Sandpoint, He takes up rear guard duty with Kast.

Kast Phaer |

I believe the party is returning to Sandpoint. What those who accepted the surrender will do with the goblins is unclear, but I suspect the Sheriff might be the one to talk to.
How long of a trek is it? It's hours, right?
Kast marches back to Sandpoint.

Lokien Forge |

Lokien will say prayers over the body of the gnome and will bring his body out to be buried properly.

Amren Slyblade |

Oh.... Gnick Gnack.... Amren turns to the dwarves, his shoulders slumped. That gnome was our friend, and was a a innocent as they come. Do you still believe letting them surrender is a good idea? This entire infestation must be burned. It's the only way to keep this from happening again.
He shakes his head in disbelief, Looks at the dwarves one last time, and then makes his way to Garridan.
Gar... My friend. I didn't mean to kill that mutant. I meant for the vengeance to be yours. I just... Got so mad when they said they would accept the surrender of... Goblins... I still don't fully agree, but they have a point I guess. I just hope I didn't anger you.
I'll update the loot log when I get home. At work at the moment.

Kast Phaer |

Is returning to the town now wise? Whatever is here, something evil and something ancient, is the true issue, the goblins are a symptom.
What would know about wisdom, Wart? The time for wisdom was before we accepted surrender.
Kast, having helped Garridan as promised, readies to return to Sandpoint.

Calin Moonbreeze |

If this is indeed the goblins living here, we have time to return and fully explore the place, searching for the evil beneath the place you sense my love, But it would indeed be wise to rid ourselves of the little green beasts first. If a trial in Sandpoint is what was decided, so be it, It will give me time to see to that horses long term care at the least.
Mercy for goblins? He thought to himself clearly at a loss. It didnt seem normal, but then it wasnt exactly wrong either. Taking them back to sandpoint however, he thought was just basically an extended execution. What were the citizens who had lost their own want to do to them? Its not like these goblins had much of a chance at all, even the dumb little buggers had to know that. He would have to keep a close watch on them to make sure they didnt do anything desperate on the return back.
Calin would move to get the horse and carefully lead him back to the other animals, preferably before they tromped Goblins through there.

Elrawien Lantherion |

Drawing her rapier she approaches the goblin archer and she slices its throat. You will pellet no one else again with your bow and you and your kind will not harm the town again. as the goblin bleeds to death she will say This goblin shot at me, Garridan, and my husband. It will trouble us no more. Calistria has been satisified. What happens with the female goblins is of no concern to me

Jarkralzak |

Jarkralzak has not spoken to any of the party since taking the goblins prisoner. He keeps looking over to the dwarven cleric, a mixture of anger and confusion on his face. After hearing about the innocent gnome, he mutters something in dwarven under his breath, then tosses up his hood and trudges onward, back to Sandpoint.

Lokien Forge |

Sensing his companion's confusion on why he pleaded clemency for the wretched goblins was perhaps understandable. Perhaps that Harridan's Words on Vengeance has infected everybody else with senseless violence.
Being vessal of his god doesn't mean that he could willingly just abide the slaughter of those who had given up, even if his fellow dwarf might be willing to risk his vows, he wouldn't. His folk were staunch and stubborn a trait he shared but this came too close of falling into their enemies ways. He refused and a good thing that the party heeded his words even if he lst their goodwill. The forging of Torag's intent was long in the making.
That harridan did it anyway, slaying a goblin while it was being tied and by now helpless. She called it revenge but no matter what it seemed that by doing so, she and the goblins were the one and the same.
Taking the goblin's equipment, the injured horse and an old companion's body was no small task but they managed. Lokien left the horse in Calin's good hands, with help managed to hand the goblins over to the sheriff and gave a report on what had transpired so far.
Bringing Gnick Gnack Paddywack's body was slightly harder but it had to be done, Lokien certainty wasn't leaving it behind.
Preparing a burial site with the town's blessing hopefully wasn't hard, as he intended for Gnick Gnack Paddywack to at least have a resting place. Saying a prayer for the brave gnome to Torag, Lokien seeing a long day ahead of him, proceeds to check on the loot as well, getting it sold to be split among the rest as equally as possible.
Finding a place for silent meditation and prayer would have to wait.

Amren Slyblade |

Upon returning to Sandpoint, Amren first goes to find Shalelu to inform her of the strange opponents. The quasit and the 3 armed goblin, he deems, are quite rare and belies something more sinister going on at Thistletop.
He then goes to the church of Desna, to pray for the souls of Garridan's mother, and Gnick Gnack.
After that, he finds whoever sold all the loot, and tries use his share to buy a chain shirt.
I don't know the loot is going to be divvied up, I assume everyone here just post what they want to keep, and then we'll sell the rest and divide the amount evenly. The tiny magic dagger should be worth a fortune, so we should all be able to buy some decent stuff. I want two masterwork daggers, and a magic one if they have one.

Amren Slyblade |

Loot Log is updated. Let me know if there is anything I missed. I didn't fill out the who took it column, so everyone could decide what they want and just type it in themselves.

Shalafi2412 |

The trial, if you could even call it that, took place quickly and the outcome was as certain as the group had orginally thought it would be. The goblins were found guilty of raiding the town and killing townsfolk. They were killed by a squad of archers. The little buggers went to their trial and deaths oblivious to what was going to take place.
Kast was assigned to another mission. The captain of the guard was not too happy with his attitude and so thought another assignment would be better for him.
You find yourselves, after a few days back to the Thistletop fort, the mayor of the town charging you with rooting out what evil is there.

Amren Slyblade |

Amren spends his time in the city trying to track down equipment to help the group. He uses his contacts he's made by selling artifacts and word of mouth to try and find the best prices and the best equipment, and then informs the group of what he finds. He's personally searching for a chain shirt, and a couple of masterwork (or magical) daggers.
He assumes Lokien and Jark will take care of healing items because if their close ties to the church, but if he finds a wand of cure light wounds or something of that nature, he'll bring it to the party's attention as well.

Shalafi2412 |

I found it in the book as well, it was in the back as opposed to being where the town is.
Masterwork items should be available there.
How much would magical weapons of +1 cost? I really cannot see anyone and from what I have read, who makes magic items in the town.

Lokien Forge |

I didn't count the Elf. Lokien does not count her as a party member since he sees her as a drain on the party resources as it it. Adding her in simply reduces far more resources to the rest of us. Besides Lokien knows nothing else of her other than her sharp tongue.
@Amren See Discussion Thread. Have listed out a few plaes for you to seek out. There's far too many shops to list out..

Amren Slyblade |

I meant specific magic/masterwork items. He has canvassed all the shops he can to find the right gear for the party.

Amren Slyblade |

So Amren would be able to find two masterwork daggers and a chain shirt then? What shop would have the other character's needs so I make a Roleplay post of Amren reporting what he's found, and where? Also, I think Lokien didn't count El into the party loot because generally, DMPC's aren't given a share per se. Usually, what I do if I have a DMPC is look at what the party has after a shopping trip like this, and give them an amount roughly between 1/2 and 3/4 what the members have. However, I think what you are trying to say is that you want her to be treated like a full on party member instead of a DMPC, correct?

Amren Slyblade |

Also, from the look of the cities wealth chart, there should be a few minor and medium magic items available somewhere. Those have to be rolled up by the GM.

Lokien Forge |

Just as Amren said, I'd assume that GMNPCS get their share as per the NPC WBL.
The smithy should be able to provide the masterwork Daggers or chainshirt. For me I usally give GMNPCs the wealth as per NPC guidelines. Else they'll be eating into party loot and lowering resources available for the party.
IC wise, Lokien doesn't think her a party and if she wants, she can get from her share from Calin. She certainty did not endear herself to him and he sees her as the main reason that Garridan risked such a dangerous move into Goblin lair. If she pushes it Lokien will react accordingly.

Elrawien Lantherion |

Count her in. That helps to keep everyone on the up and up and keeps the DMPC from becoming a Deus ex machina.
Even though she is s pain in como se llama, her contributions to the fights and the challenges cannot be forgotten. It didnt take her 3 or 4 rounds to do something, hint hint, Lokien :)
