Silent, the beast
The wolf quickly takes stock of his situation. Mac and the drunkard will soon have the big scary reptile on them, but there's not much Silent could do for them. Tam was last seen disappearing to the south-west, so drawing Silent's pursuing spiky-four-legs that way was a bad idea. But at the same time, Silent hadn't seen Jivaji or Eltumal leave the wagon to the east.
Maybe if this big guy loses me, he'll go back to defending against the bigger threat.
Decision made, the wolf tries to use the broken cover of the shattered wagon to lose his pursuer, his four padded paws carrying him further through the ruins and hopefully towards Jivaji and Eltumal.
Use the cover to lose the steg, going full defensive as he sneaks through the wreckage to Z-25. That should be far enough that the creature can't use smell to locate him.
Stealth 1d20 + 6 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 6 - 2 = 13; Shaken.
Shanosuke
If this were a real-life game, i'd be offering Shano a bugle (the snack) right now... :)
I am a bad GM. I accept bribes. Shame on me. I expect a whole bag of Bugles for this. The effect of Eltumal's stealth bonus lasts for one hour and can be used a number of times a day equal to his Int Modifier. Now I am just waiting on Tam and Nye to post their initiatives and actions and then we will move on.
Silent, the beast
I'm not all that knowledgeable about the anatomy of stags, but that'd be the deciding factor. If the steg's head is low enough to easily see under the wagon, then Silent would probably try to get into the wagon itself to break line of sight. If the steg's head is higher, and it would take some effort for it to get its head down low enough to see under the wagon, then he'd go under it. That make sense?
Eltumal Woodsoul
This is what a stegasaurus looks like. It's head is reasonably close to the ground.
Shanosuke
This is technically a CR 15 encounter. However, I don't expect you guys to have to fight anything too ridiculous. Once Nye post I will post the results of round one. If he doesn't post by the time I get home tonight I am going to NPC him.
Also silent. The wagon is at an angle. The high side is facing the steg making it easy for the beast to see under the wagon. Guess it is inside you go. These are wood covered wagons like carriages.

Round one results everypony
Jivaji
Jivaji sets himself up defensibly and takes a swing at the nearest raptor hitting it. It cries out in Pain.
Raptors
The first Raptor Jivaji hits attempts a bite. 13 to hit for 5 damage.
The second Raptor pounces Jivaji 16 to hit for 6 damage and a second claw attack missed and the bite attack gets a 13 for 7 damage
The third Raptor pushes past Jivaji going straight for Eltumal and pounces him also. It attacks with both talons and a bite. First talon misses, second misses, the bite scores a 21 to hit for 4 damage.
Joe
The thunderous stomping and roaring of the dinos has left Joe both shaken and knocked prone.
T-Rex
T-Rex finally gets bold and steps in biting down hard on the neck of the closest steg. The steg roars in agony as the jaws of the Tyranosaur tear at it's neck.
Silent
Silent darts quickly into the middle wagon trying to lose his large pursuer. He believes the steg wont find him.
Stegs
Four of the stegs are on the T-Rex and the fifth is chasing Silent.
Three of the four stegs move in to attack the Rex. Only two of them can get an attack in. One misses horribly but the other scores a direct hit knocking the T-Rex back The fourth steg tries to make his way around the group to bet into a better position.
The Fifth steg manages to spot Silent going into the wagon and Bull rushes the structure. The steg hits the wagon with such force that it rolls end over end with silent still inside. The steg pushes it a good 60 feet! Silent must make both a will and Reflex save with a DC 20 or be unable to act this round as he would be too tossed around to do anything.
Tam
Tam rushes over to try and intimidate the steg tossing Silents wagon but to no avail. Getting the attention of such large beast with so much noise is going to be impossible. That means you can't roll that high
Nye
Nye tries also to get the dinos attention but their fighting makes them impervious to his cries. The noise and size of the beasts makes it impossible to get their attention. Given the situation now.....why would you want to?
Your bow shot goes wide even as you pull five feet away from the beast attacking you, you are tripping over everything in the wagon and thus your shot did not connect.
Those are the results of round 1. Quite a bit of chaos and five of the giants are busy fighting each other. The sixth Giant is trying to get rid of Silent and Jivaji and Eltumal are having their own problems. If there are no questions, please proceed to Round 2 :)
Tam Hardwick
The Demon Ape, seeing the commotion and hearing the noise, changes tacts. Instead of intimidation, he goes for another idea... Using his ape-ish charms, he climbs up the side of the stegosaurus and attempts to make his way toward the head, hoping to encourage the beast to move away from the wagons...

he has a climb speed of 30' when he's aped out. I thought that made him capable of taking 10 regardless of situation?
And I did not know that. I apologize. DC for climbing a raging, moving, and thrashing wild animal standing somewhere around 20 feet in height is 25. So he might want to consider rolling.
I fear how this will end.
Joe "Mac" MacGillicuddy
Joe stands up and sees Tam attempting to climb the dinosaur. "Are you nuts? Well, he's either that or bored." He smiles as he speaks to himself. Wondering what's taking the others so long with all that's going on out here, Joe moves toward the wagon and Tam to see if he can help in any way.
Move action to stand from prone. Move action to move toward wagon while drawing weapon.

Round 2 Results. Please read carefully. This round is just Crazy!
Jivaji
You take a swing and miss. Also the raptor that attacked Eltumal used acrobatics and definitely beat your CMD....unless yours comes out to 21.
Raptors
The two raptors on jivaji attack with three attacks each and of all of those, only one talon has a chance of hitting. 21 to hit for 4 damage.
The raptor attacking Eltumal misses with one talon and its bite but the other might hit with a 17 for 6 damage.
Eltumal
Would have been a nice hit.....had it actually hit. Swoosh a miss
Joe
You dart to the wagon, I'm guessing the either the one Eltumal and Jivaji are in or the one Silent is in that is getting trollied by the steg. You decide but you will be at Eltumal's and Jivaji's wagon either way next turn.
T-Rex
The Tyrannosaur sees the one steg moving wide around the pack and immidiately pulls back and around to attack it on the opposite of his buddys. A nasty crunch noise echoes across the as the Rex's jaw latch hard on the stegs neck doing tremendous damage. It scored a Crit. The steg wails in pain.
I noticed the rex hits these stegs on a 2 or better. Long as he don't roll a one he doesn't miss....creepy
Stegs
The Stegs are now maneuvering around their attacked friends to try and assist against the Rex. Both score hits but are unable to break the Rex's hold. Three stegs are trying to fight the Rex
The first steg that the Rex bit is retreating to the nest. Joe could be in trouble if it spots him.
Steg on Silent
The steg attacking Silent's wagon roars and bull rushes the wagon again. Hitting it with such impact that it starts a downward roll on a hill. It travels 220 feet! It continues to roll violently down the hill and into a nearby river. The steg attacking it seems satisfied with defending it's nest as it watches the wagon roll.
Silent
You are able to keep your wits about you but unable to maintain your footind. You are horribly jostled for this round as the stegs rushes your wagon again and now you roll down a hill into a river. You take 6 damage from being thrown about and now you must make a Fort save, Will Save, Reflex save and a swim check. Best of luck to you. DCs are all 15
Fort = Nausea
Will = Confusion
Reflex = Entangle. Basically you are tied up in the junk on the wagon
Swim = Swimming.....duh
Tam
Just as the steg is finishing with the wagon Tam attempts to get a hold of the beast and climb it. He does manage to get a hold of the monster but is unable to make any progress. The DC is now 20 as the creature is calm.....until it realizes Tam is there next round.
Nye
Nye is all by himself and the chaos of the dino fight is practically on top of him. He tries to rejoin the others but the drunkard can only focus so much as he is suffering withdrawals. He staggers right into one of the swinging tails of a stegasaur and is sent flying into the jungle further away from his comrades. Much further.
That concludes round 2
Here is the summery and I'm gonna tell you what the monsters will do next round.
First thing to note. Joe and Tam can make a perception check for free. DC 15 you will know Jivaji and Eltumal are in trouble in the last wagon.
Silent is in the river
There is a healthy steg that will return to the nest next turn. Tam is hanging on this one. If it discovers him.....well I wont be held responsible for what would happen next. *Shudder*
A wounded steg is also returning to the nest. By the end of next turn there will be two stegs in the nesting grounds.
Joe is painfully visible but thankfully gets his turn before the stegs
The other three stegs and the rex are fighting quite a ways away. No sign of Nye or Silent.
Any questions?
If not ON TO ROUND THREE
Silent, the beast
Eesh… this is gonna be painful. Why don't you just tell me I'm screwed up-front, Shano? :D
Fort DC 15 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24 - success
Will DC 15 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9 - CONFUSED!
Reflex DC 15 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16 - Success (barely)
Swim DC 15 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20 - Success
Effect of Confusion: 1d100 ⇒ 39 = "Do nothing but babble incoherently (in wolfish)"
The wolf is about to try to get up when his sheltering wagon is blasted again, and his small, enclosed world becomes a maelstrom of flying wreckage and debris... made all that more confusing by the roaring groans of buckling wood and snapping tethers. All in all, it's too much for a wolf to handle, and he tries his best but fails to keep from panicking a bit.
Finally it's violent tumbling is arrested with a wet crash, and immediately water is everywhere. Coming up sputtering, whining, yelping, and growling in turn, the wolf somehow stays free of the debris's snares and keeps its head out of the water.
How long does the confusion last?
Jivaji Varesh
Question: Do we see Silent roll away, Joe approaching, or Tam going steg-climbing? If we can see anyone, I'll call out their name real quick to get their attention.
He beat my CMD. So no swipe for me. Also the last raptor attack still missed (22 AC for fighting defensively).
Narrowly avoiding a wicked raptor claw, Jivaji looks around, worriedly.
"Eltumal, I think the tables have turned outside. This needs to end soon, or we need to get out."
Round 3 as posted above. Basically a swing and a miss.
Joe "Mac" MacGillicuddy
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Seeing how these creatures are far to big to be messing with, Joe yells in hopes the others will hear and evacuate. "FELLAS! WE NEED TO GET THE HECK OUTTA HERE! WE...ARE GONNA...GET EATEN!" He knows fleeing is the smartest way to go but he refuses to leave the others behind.
Delay
Shanosuke
Joe, NOOOOO!!! Oh man this round is going to be messy. Eesh.
Round 3 Results
Jivaji
Swing and a miss. You really need to just start swinging to kill. Eventually they are going to get through especially if they put down Eltumal first. They aren't that tough.
Raptors
The two attacking Jivaji continue to miss. One bite gets through with a 23 to hit for 3 damage.
The other raptor on Eltumal attacks all out. Bite 14 to hit for 2 damage, Talon 1 18 to hit for 5 damage, and talon 2 15 to hit for 3 damage.
Eltumal
He manages to score a hit making the beast angry.
Joe
Joe is standing in the middle of the nest looking for the others. After a round of hard search. (I'm allowing a full round to lower percep DC to 10) He notices some chaos going on in the eastern wagon. He also notices two of the stegs have returned and they seem to notice him also.
Stegs
The battle rages on between the Rex and three of the stegs out of sight but you can still hear it. One of the stegs fighting the T-Rex has returned to the nest. The other that had push Silent into the river has returned on the opposite side. They both spot Joe in the middle of their nests. They bellow and roar trying to intimidate him before they charge.
Joe You need to make a Will save DC 18 or be shaken for the next round.
Silent
I get to decide your confusion results thank you very much.
Silent manages to swim out of the sinking wagon. However the jostling and constant spinning of the wagon has left him dizzy and confused. He is unable to determine where he is doing and swims to the opposite shore of the river.
Tam
Tam is on top of the steg now.........I fear for his life. For the moment the stegs don't notice him.
Nye
He is no where to be seen
Okay so that is round 3.
Onto round 4. This could be bad.
Eltumal Woodsoul
"Not doing too well back here, Jivaji. He's tearing me up. Ya might wanna stop holding back. These guys are the least of our problems, if any of the other dinosaurs around us decide to join in on the fun."
5-foot step away, drink extract of CLW. 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Edit: Also, T_T
Joe "Mac" MacGillicuddy
Will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 Just so you know, I'm already shaken from the roaring of the dinosaurs from earlier. Would being intimidated twice, stack? Would I be frightened now? Not sure how that works.
Unless I'm frightened, this is what Joe will do.
Joe moves into the eastern wagon in an attempt to help the others.
Not real sure how much of a move it takes to get there and/or climb inside. Barring the fact I'm not running for my life due to above circumstances.
Jivaji Varesh
"Alright then."
Jivaji pulls the shield off his arm before switching to a more offensive stance.Move
Grabbing the bastard sword in both hands, he swings for the neck of the nearest raptor.Standard
Bastard Sword (2H) 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 4 + 2 = 16, dmg 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 S
R5
And again
Bastard Sword (2H) 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 2 = 9, dmg 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12 S
Shanosuke
Okay after rolling through this senario, things are going to be....interesting.
Jivaji
Finally dropping his defenses he swings and kills the Raptor standing before him.
Raptors
The second raptor attack Jivaji missing twice but one Talon may fit. 18 to hit for 4 damage
The one attacking Eltumal misses once. Bite has an 16 to hit for 2 damage and a Talon scores a 17 for 3 damage.
Joe
Yes the intimidate stacks you are shaken for an overall total of 6 rounds. Joe leaps into the wagon where Jivaji and Eltumal are battling against the Raptor's
Stegs
The Stegs see Joe go into the wagon and immediately move to engage it with one on each side. Both stegs swing their mighty tails at the wagon splintering the tops. The occupants see the spikes from the tails punch massive holes in the walls. The Raptor's at this point are scared out of their minds.
Jivaji and Eltumal need to make will saves DC 15 or be shaken for the next round.
Silent: NPC Mode
Silent will stagger about on the shore trying to shake himself free of his confusion. He sees that he is on the wrong side of the river. You can still here the bellowing of the dinosaurs. Next round you can attempt to swim back across the river but this time it will be a DC 20 Swim check.
Tam
As the brutes are attacking the wagon with his friends in it, the brave Tam risks all to cover the eyes of the mighty steg. Once blinded the beast will begin bucking and thrashing about. On the stegs next turn you will need to make me ride check DC 25 to stay on. Once you've made the check, decide what to do next.
Nye
No sign
Joe "Mac" MacGillicuddy
Instinctively ducking from the massive tail damage being done to the wagon, "Alright, fellas! Don't think I need to tell ya, but, we need to git!"
Will delay until after Jivaji and Eltumal. If they leave, Joe will follow. If not, then he will help attack.
Will put attack roll in spoiler so as not to sway you guys decision on what to do.

No problem… was just trying to be proactive.

So should i make the roll now or wait until next round? Also, out of curiosity, why did the DC increase? Also, how far of a swim is it to the other side of the river?

DC Went up because you are going to try and swim the full length of the river. Before you were already halfway across and the wagon is no longer blocking the current. Also, this round, Round 5 is where you can make your check to cross. You have already shaken off the confusion last round.
Tam Hardwick
Ride the lightning! 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
It's a good thing Tam is acting purely on instinct, because rational thought would have crapped its pants and run away by now... The demon ape clings to the dino and fights to hang on. Then, realizing it was a losing battle, he leaps off the dino, leaving the steg to rage.
Jump! 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12

Okay, I'm going to wrap this encounter up now. RESULTS!
Jivaji
You are shaken and pratically stagger out of the wagon making for the forest. The stegs will not notice you nor will the raptors as you get out of the "danger zone"
Raptors
They bolt. Freaked by the steg attacks and one of them is injured, they flee for the jungle. Being that they are much faster than you, and more nimble. They are gone in the blink of an eye not to be seen again in this encounter
Joe
Seems like the other two and the raptors are getting the heck outta dodge so you follow as quickly as you can.
Stegs
The one steg with Tam on its back throws him off. Tam hits the ground about 25 feet east of the steg.
The other steg continues to hammer away at the wagon knocking it over.
Silent
You race along the river eastward and find slower current. Taking ten you can cross with ease. Once on the other side you will be able to pick up the others scent and track them down.
Tam
You are prone. However, you are lucky to have been thrown in the right direction and see Joe and Jivaji running for their lives. Taking your que you get to your feet and follow as best you can.
Eltumal
You are tossed in the wagon but are able to get your footing, you make a break after Joe and Jivaji east.
Nye
No where to be seen.
The encounter is over. You all get a good distance from the nest as the two stegs continue to beat up that poor wagon. Jivaji, Joe, Tam, and Eltumal all collapse from an exhausting fray. You are no longer shaken but the mental anguish of this battle has left you all fatigued. Soon silent joins you. You are now safe beyond the "borders" of the stegs territory. You see no sign of Nye though, whats worse, once you have all caught your breath you will notice that the jungle is disturbingly quiet. Especially compared to the roaring and stomping of battling dinos you all were apart of not moments ago. The jungle is still.....quiet.....not even a bug making a noise....No sounds of wildlife.....not even the fierce roar of the stegs. The nest is not far off but just out of sight.
You are all safe......for the moment.. What is your next plan of action?
Eltumal Woodsoul
"Well, that was fun, eh? 1...2...3...4...5...I hope Nye catches up, because I don't think it would be smart to go back."
I'll take a tally of what I managed to get out.
"You hear that? That's very strange in the Jungle. Usually, their would be the sounds of fauna and avians. This is unsettling."
Kn:Nature to determine why it's quiet: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
Joe "Mac" MacGillicuddy
"I'm afraid if Nye's not with us, he ain't gonna be. Off by himself ain't good odds on survivin'. Looks like we lost another, fellas. Dangit!" Frustrated, he then takes in what Eltumal said and notices how quiet it is. "You know Eltumal, you ain't kiddin'. It is mighty quiet for being a forest." He grips his scythe a bit tighter, looking around for signs of any more danger.
Silent, the beast
Perception 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27.
Survival 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24.
When Silent jogs back into view, he's in his monstrous two-legged half-wolf form, blade in hand. While looking a bit beat up and soaked to the core, he seems mostly fine. He took 6 points damage. Do we have any healing we could spare? He takes a moment to check out their immediate surroundings before signing with two large, hairy hands.
