I'm taking the family off on holiday from Saturday till 29th August. We're going on a cruise so there'll be days where I don't have internet. I'll try to post when I can but it's probably best to bot me as needed.

I'm all ears if you want to share :-)

So what's going on
We are about to enter Zhaman! :-)
Storyteller Shadow
I am back i have way to much alone tone right now
Glad you're back. Sorry for the reason that you are back.
I'm looking for a new PC or two for one or two of my games, PM me if you're interested.

So what's going on
Loren is ready for an official medallion of faith. :)
Beyond that, the short version is that you got the refugees to a safe place (at least for a while) with plentiful food and cut loose from them to go find Zhaman on your own. That's just happened and now the party are entering the skull-shaped melted fortress by means of the left eye.

Sorry man. Feel better. I've had a weird bug since Thursday AND my mother has been visiting to see her grandchild. I WISH I could have just slept. If you can, you definitely should.

I'm trying to figure out how to best use Loren to save/protect Mariel at this point and I'm open to suggestions as I'm still learning this character.
At the moment I'm leaning towards just continuing to swing and strike with the ghost touch ability. I could also use fervor to give myself a defensive boost as a swift action--Jakun already cast haste on us, so Channel Vigor (limbs) won't be helpful--but if there's something else I can do to help Mariel...
Caitlyn Weissman
That con drain looks really bad for her... Not sure what to do for the best here, maybe she can blast them with another channel? If that doesn't kill them then total defence would be better.

Another good channel roll would take a lot of the fight out of 'em. I also tend to redirect attacks toward PCs who have been visibly effective in the past round or so, so striking at the ghosts on her might peel them off.

Guys how's going
Hi! Was just about to PM you. :)
The short version is that you're in the skull-shaped fortress of a long-dead evil wizard, fighting undead. They're almost finished now, but there were a lot of them and they ate a lot of Mariel's and Caitlyn's constitution scores.

I'm a little sad I didn't get chosen for that Myth Drannor game (there was a lot of interest, and my submission was rushed). Still the only way to be sure is to run your own game. I wonder if there would be interest in a pathfinderised Ruins of Adventure followed by Curse of the Azure bonds. That ends up in Myth Drannor.

Indeed! :-)

Heh, sorry about that. I wish i could have run two tables, or taken 8. But, i've learned that 8 REALLY hurts my brain, and I don't think I can handle 2 tables of the same plot. i'd get confused way too easily.
But, i'd TOTALLY be down for submitting a character for Pathfinder-ized Ruins of Adventure and Curse of the Azure bonds..

No worries, I don't think I could cope with two tables either. If I end up running this, it will be with just 5 players (I would run with 4 but then what if somebody leaves?).
It's going to need extensive customization to work in PbP format - the dungeons are proper old school, sprawling with weird difficulty curves. I think I'd probably replace all of them with shorter maps found off the internet and from Paizo APs. The story seems fine however. Just have to see if I get enough time :)

I think I have an idea for a paladin... or a druid of Eldath..
I have a bizarre fondness for Eldath. Both in her original pre-release form as a sort of protector/defender sort (hence some of the more.. violent... spells. that weird swirling bone shard thingy from Faiths and Avatars springs to mind) and her canon flower-child peaceful goddess of peace and nonviolence. Even without the permanent sanctuary effect from her specialty priests, they're just kind of neat.

Yeah I'm running 3 Tables of Azlant which I've never done before so fingers crossed!

LOL. OOC, I'm not sure Loren is right, but I know Loren wouldn't think the whole possession by an ancient wizard is wise, so...

Just a heads up, I'm going to be on the road this afternoon and then out of town this weekend. I'll try to keep up via my iPhone but you know how those keyboards are, and I'm not sure what the connectivity situation is going to be where we're heading.

Forgot to mention here, I decide to give the Ruins of Adventure a go. There's a thread here if you're interested.

So we went through the double doors but did not investigate the treasure pile on the small island the other way. There was also a third hall correct?

Rundown
North: Where you met your ghost pals and gave them some of your constitution. You went through one set of double doors, saw the next, and decided that was enough.East: Ends in treasure island. Doors to north and south unexplored.
West: Ends in a wall. Doors to north and south unexplored.
South: Doors in center and to east. Both unexplored.

Yup yup

Just FYI, I'm going to be offline most of this weekend.
Samnell
Besides Dispel Magic any way that Jakun can dispel this effect Samnell? I can cast Dispel Magic via my Bonded Item.
Jakun thinks that a dispel magic may do the job. Disrupting the spellfield's edge might also do the job. Normally it wouldn't, but normally he thinks he wouldn't be able to see the edge. Most probably there's an instability caused by the magic that destroyed Zhaman. Any metal object, or one bearing an echantment, could do it. Or someone's hand if someone was very brave.

*cringes as he reads his last post*
I'd like to blame typos entirely on autocorrect, but I'm not sure that's fair. Sigh.

I once wrote an entire blog post where I misnamed a source. Said source's name was on the cover of the book I was using. A person commented to point it out to me and tried to do it discreetly. I didn't get the hint. So he had to spell it out.
Moral of this story: there are way too damned many Johns and Jamses in Bleeding Kansas and they all run together. The parents of those dead people needed to get their damned act together.
Also: Glad I don't do Early Republic New York, where everyone is a Livingston.
