Hi all and, particularly, Samnell.
I realize I've been AWOL the last couple of weeks and wanted to briefly explain why. Last year, I started a new job and it initially had a lot of downtime. However, this year I've been getting progressively more responsibility. Since a lot of my posting was happening during downtime at work, it's slowed down lately because that downtime has become ever more rare and fleeting. Then, when I get home, it's time to take care of my son, fix dinner, visit with the hubby, and get to bed.
I'm coming to the conclusion that this is my new normal and I'm just not going to have as much free time during the day. I'm having to set some priorities and I've come to the conclusion I don't have time for all the campaigns I'm currently in.
So, with regret, I have to withdraw from this campaign. I'm sorry. Samnell, you've been a great GM and I was thrilled to get to dip my toes back into Dragonlance for a little while. Thank you for the opportunity.

Can we recruit at this point in the story GM? Maybe I can just bot Loren until we finish this section and then bring someone in?
I vote we rest and tackle the Construct next. I know Thistle voted for the island.

It would be really awkward right now, and you still have Mariel, Thistle, Caitlyn, yourself, and Mittens. Five is a good-ish number. I'll bot Loren for the time being and then find a good story way to write him out.

As this is a PbP to communicate we must write out strategies to handle combat scenarios.

Hi.
Some of you have probably noticed this across multiple games and I'm sure everyone has marked the generally slower pace in the past while. The short version is that my mental health and RL have not been the best. Dealing with that has consumed a good portion of the energy that was going to keeping more on top of things here. So for about a week, I've been doing a trial of tending half the six every day, alternating. Day 1 is Against the Necromancers, Iron Gods, and Dragonlance. Day 2 is Wrath, Ziggurat, and Writhing Coast. (I split them up based on display order on my Campaigns tab.) It's Day 2 as I'm writing this.
That's proved a lot more compatible with my life at present. It's not what I promised going in and I'm sorry, but it was this or close down at least two of the games. Probably three. If RL interferes or there's too much to manage -simultaneous combats is the main suspect here- on a game's day, I'll do my best to get it done in the following day. I'll also try to peek in to answer quick questions and things like that on off days, but can't make any promises about it.
Besides that, normal practice applies. I might occasionally go missing, but if I can't swing updates when they're due I'll try to say something.
As I said in the other thread, understand and can relate, take your time.

First time I've been able to load the thing in four days, or post in about a week.

Honestly? I don't feel like I'm running much of anything right now it's been so consistently down. :( I don't want to drop any of mine, but the long lag and inability to engage from either side of the screen is terrible for already slow-paced gaming.
Also when we come back I'm down a player in most of them; Thistletorp has left the building.
Still here been away as I too am frustrated by this s!#& show.

I think he retroactively went off with Blaize. The important thing is that now I can gleefully add All The Traps. Admiral Ackbar's going to be telling me to tone it way down.
Damn Blaize takes and returns our PC's :)
All these shenanigans make me wonder if Blaize is related to Chromie.
