Destiny points can be used to:
Automatically score a critical hit
Automatically cause an attack to made against you to miss (even after the attack is resolved)
Act out of turn once per encounter
Take damage that would otherwise harm another character within your reach.
Increase the effect of some Force powers (as noted in their descriptions.)
Use some applications of Force Secrets as noted in their descriptions)
Immediately gain 3 force points
House Rules:
Prone:
Prone works as stated in the core rule book, but with the following exception:
Ranged attacks against an adjacent prone foe do not suffer the -5 penalty. Instead they gain a +5 bonus, unless the attacker is also prone.
ie, a Prone person making a ranged attack against an adjacent enemy has no bonus, and no penalty on their attack roll.
A standing person making a ranged attack against an adjacent prone target does not suffer the -5 penalty and instead gains a +5 bonus.
Taking a knee: (Prone Varient)
Free action to take a knee, Swift action to stand again.
You have a -2 penalty to melee attacks and:
-2 penalty to ranged attacks against you, +2 bonus to melee attacks against you.
