Trouble creating final module boss

Over the past several weeks I have been working on a level one through twenty module, my group has met several times and works for their victories every encounter; the goal of my campaign. However, I would like to have a powerful boss at the end of the journey so players can leave with a sense of accomplishment. My idea was an Alchemist, taking the vestigial arm discovery twice along with wings, who became a Lich lord. I have been searching for some time now for a template that will grant my villain more arms to rip through PCs. I am a somewhat new Gm and would appreciate any help making my campaign fun and memorable to the players.


It is better to wait until the PC's are level 20. That way you will know what they are capable of. I will tell you that a melee focused bad guy normally stops being a capable BBEG before most groups even reach level 10.
