Florin De Poisse
Florin stands with the crowd watching Rohan’s futile efforts to enter the building. As the others approach Florin turns to Zelaria.
”Ah Zelaria I’m glad you’re here Rohan and I have been making LOTS OF NOISE! To confuse the people in the glassworks we are trying to stealthily infiltrate. Perhaps you could aid us by getting a brick to throw through the window.” Florin calls to Rohan. ”Do you not remember the part of the letter where it said come alone? I appreciate you are trying to help Ameiko but there has to be a better way wouldn’t you agree? Florin gives the deciphered note to the rest of the group in way of explanation as to why they are here and then says ”Time for damage limitation I fear.”

“Nothing to see here good people of sandpoint. As you know we are trusted by the good sheriff to keep the peace in his absence. My friends and I are investigating the glassworks for clues on the goblin raid can anyone help with a key to the building? Either way I will be happy to take questions as to the nature of our actions today once we have established the truth in the rumours we have received. Once again I thank you all for your stoic resolution in these troubled times and request any and all suspicious occurrences are to be reported to ourselves or the other deputies. Until then I would ask all of you to move on from here and go about your business.”
Ryuko
"Oh of course, of course, thank you good heroes. I was just a little worried. I doubt anyone has the key but Lonjiku, he lives up that way if you'd like to check in with him." The half-elf points northward. "But I don't see what's wrong. I run the shop across the way there," He points to a small storefront of Bottled Solutions. "And they've been working there in the Glassworks all night. Thought now that I think of it no one's been comin' in or goin' out. Figured they were just working on a big project." A couple more people chime in with each statement, agreeing upon the fact that the place has been working all night, that no one has come in or out, however, one small voice in the crowd says. "That's not quite right, saw old Lonjiku go in there near midnight last night. Was up getting a snack and saw him head in, furtive look on his face, a while afore midnight." Says an elderly woman.
Rohan Drake
"Do you have a better idea, Florin?" Rohan glowers at the bard.
He looks to the old woman. "Are you sure you saw Lonjiku walk in there last night around midnight?" After she confirms it, he turns towards the group. "We should go to Lonjiku's house, see if we can find something then."
Florin De Poisse
”I am not about to make a habit of breaking and entering people’s houses. Let me think for a second.” Florin paces and strokes his beard. "lets scout the perimeter to find a discrete form of entry. If that fails we could just knock. Or more specifically the pretty, young, innocent girl lost and alone whilst two madly in love men duel one another for her attention, could knock.” Florin brightens with the idea. ”yes this could work. Vulf how are you acting skills? I need you to look like an angry man vying for the love of a young lady. Perfect! Rohan you will play our other antagonist. Now I need a young attractive woman to play the hapless maiden in our story. Zelaria... do you think father Dorrak will fit in you dress? Ah ha I jest but do you believe you are up to the part? I need you to draw the man who answers away from the door way for enough time that I can sneak pat him. Florin looks genuinely pleased with himself ”well what do you all think?”
so to clarify Zelaria will knock on the door flustered and preferably showing a little flesh she will ask the man, woman or whatever answers the door to help her quickly explaining that vulf and Rohan have engaged in a Duel to the death over who gets to De-flower her or somthing. In the meantime florin will cast vanish and rush through the opening in the door. Dorrak will aid the ilusion by tring to part the two futily It’s just crazy enough to work
Rohan Drake
"Are all your plans this needlessly complicated?" Rohan asks the bard."But I suppose if you think it'll work. Anything for... I mean I'll do it if the others are up to it of course."
Dorrak
Lonjiku was seen goin' in around the time of the meeting mentioned in the note, yeah? No one saw anyone else enter or exit. He's not home so he must still be at the glassworks. Copper, how's your climbing skills? Maybe you can get a look in some windows and let us know what you see?
Dorrak scratches his beard. One thing's for sure, we can't go knocking down the doors or walls of a respected business in daylight with no real cause for such.
Rohan Drake
Rohan calms a bit as Dorrak gives his advice."I'm not the best climber in the world." Copper admits sheepishly."But I'm small so if someone can give me a boost, I can fit through one of the windows."
"Ameiko might be in danger, that's a real cause." Rohan replies to Dorrak.
Dorrak
But we don't know for certain that she's in danger or that she's inside. We have just as much reason to go kick in doors at the rusty dragon. All we have is a note from her brother and the fact she didn't show up this morning for work. Let's not get carried away until there is more reason to do so.
Dorrak
We're not standing by. We're also not going to over-react. No one saw Ameiko come in or out, she may not even be here. Dorrak looks around and sighs. Let's start by checking the perimeter again for unlocked doors or windows that we could boost Copper to. If there are people inside we should see or hear signs of life.
Rohan Drake
"Fine." Rohan looks at Copper. Copper walks off and stealthily looks around the perimeter for an open window or some other way into the building.

Copper finds no open windows or doors, but he hears odd noises from within. Several high-pitched giggling voices, breaking glass and the sound of running feet and breaking furniture are a little tough to make out through the thick walls, but Copper's sharp ears make the cut.
Zelaria Quiatris
Zelaria's eyes narrow. "Breaking things, when I have beat upon the door?" she says incredulously. "This is highly suspect," she says, and looks to Rohan. "If the occupants are indeed aggressive, I recommend a course of action that does not require that we alarm them to our presence. Since my greeting earlier was unheeded, we might yet have an opportunity to suprise them if you might reign in your temper."
Ryuko
The group is outside the door to area A1, and can choose to smash any of the windows they wish.
Florin De Poisse
“I guess we shall find out. I’ll go first to scout out the area and give you a shout if all is well.”
And with that florin climbs through the broken window.
Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Florin studies the room checking to see if its occupied...
EDIT: Oops! too keen assume this happens when we chose a nice window.
PS. My Vote is for A14.
Vulf Longfang
Vulf nods to the others before slowly ripping a pice of his shirt off and wraps his hand holding the rock up to save himself from any sharp glass to fall on it. Then he stands next to a window nearest the door and listens, straining his elven senses to the max in order to make sure this was the right place.
Perception1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17 Pretty much if he is able to hear something moving in the room he wouldnt break this window but going off of the info he heard from everyone I will proceed to break this one nearest the door at A1 sorry Florin.
Vulf nods at his companions then breaks the window with rock with his cloth covered hand cringing slightly at the sound of breaking glass so close to him. Then after he sees Florin move in he vaults up after him blades ready before moving over to try and open the door for everyone else.

Vulf foolishly cuts himself as he tries to vault through the window, but has no issue managing to open the door for the others. You find yourselves in a display room, set up like a shop. It seems there were many bottles and panes of glass on display here, but they have been relentlessly smashed. There is hardly any piece of glass not shattered upon the floor, and your feet crunch audibly as you walk. The sound of giggling and breaking glass is even more pronounced inside, and you can tell it's coming from deeper into the building.
Rohan Drake
Rohan draws his spear as he walks in. He calls upon his magic to shield him and opens the door on the right. Near A2.

Casting a glance at Dorrak to assure that he is following, Zelaria follows Florin, Vulf, and Rohan into the glassworks. Taking 10 on perception since we do not walk into combat, Zelaria recognizes that there are two doors accessible to the party.
"Before we continue, we should assess the inherent threat of either choice," Zelaria argues, gesturing towards the doors. "I do not wish to go down the one to have the other open and find myself lodged between two sets of enemies."
Rohan Drake
Dorrak, Vulf already opened the door for you. You can come in at any time.
"The sound seems to be coming from the left." Rohan says as he closes the door and opens the left one.
Ryuko
Rohan opens the door to another hallway, but not as empty as the first. There are the bodies of two men and a woman within, likely quite dead judging from the amount of lacerations upon them. The floor is sticky with pooled blood. The crashing sound continues from straight ahead Area A17, and you can distinctly hear at least half a dozen giggling voices.
Zelaria Quiatris
Zelaria kneels beside Dorrak, and whispers a soft prayer to Desna in Varisian. This is not her first time seeing the dead, and she is rather reluctant to leave that which she considers to be the party center at the moment, especially with Rohan acting like a loon.
Ryuko
Heal Check:1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23
The corpses are dead and cold. You'd guess they died sometime in the early evening last night, and that the bodies were attacked many times even after dead.
Stealth:1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
As Rohan cracks the door he sees movement inside. Looking about, he sees 10 goblins and hundreds of panes of glass, many of which are being smashed by the light of the open furnace. The scene in the center is most terrifying however. Lonjiku Kaijutsu's terified eyes look out from clear panes of glass that cover him. The cooled glass must have been poured over him while still molten. His hands and feet are tied to the chair that he was burned in, and the bubble of glass that sits over him is the only thing in the room untouched by goblins. Luckily, none of the goblins see Rohan and he is able to close the door to warn the others.
You all are able to get a surprise round if you choose.
Rohan Drake
Rohan will open the door for Zelaria to work her magic.
I assume that is my action so I will just roll initiative and wait for my turn.
