Sorry no one stated her movement or moved her figure. Where she was she just saw the party. I would have gotten perception checks to see her as well. So she is where her figure is.
Celas movement is only 20' in this form.
Fernleaf is not responding to message.

Usually C (or yourself in absentia) moves Cela. I thought the statements and questioning were enough. If we all aren't on the same page at the same time its going to cause issues. Send Cela in as an Elemental as stated before and if everyone agrees we move in.

OK sorry man - anyone hop in in the future if to request movement before we go too far - hard to retcon that now.
OK Cela moves into the wall and sees no Fernleaf, but three prisoners in a jail cell one looks to be Commander Latimer
GM Stuff: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14
GM Stuff: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (9) + 13 = 22
GM Stuff: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32
GM Stuff: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (17) + 13 = 30
She sees a small turtle pooping on the floor outside the jail cell.

OY!!! This has to be the stickiest situation we've been in so far! Buchart will cast Invisibility, but not before we do some more brainstorming. I think Lumpy should take point. Bucky would follow to see what happens. Who would be the best character to send into the cells, knowing that our friend has disappeared or has been transformed? Is Cela able to use message in her elemental form? Was Fernleaf communicating what he was seeing as he entered the cellblock? Wait a minute!
Anaba, you have a ring that absorbs spells, don't you? What if I follow you into the room invisible with a spell ready to cast? You have your ring that absorbs spells and I have my ring of counterspells. We enter with Cela in the ceiling and the others at the ready as soon as we give the go sign. What could go wrong?

She moves but it is the same a turtle crawling on the floor and three prisoners with a now smoldering fire.
gm stuff: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (18) + 13 = 31
gmstuff: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14
gmstuff: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 25
gm stuff: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 16
Something about the room seems odd to her.
One of the prisoners points at Cela and says
"Help us. Open this cage please!"

Cela casts detect magic. With that she sees everything in the room is an illusion. Will save: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (10) + 13 = 23 The room has no bars. There are body parts scattered all over the room. The fire has an enormous cauldron bubbling. The smell in the room is terrible. The three "prisoners" are in fact hideous hags. kn nature: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (8) + 16 = 24.
These are Annis Hags. Three or more Hags together are able to form a coven and cast powerful spells like baleful polymoph and control weather as well as other spells. This would explain the excessive rain that caused the flooding.
She sees that the turtle is radiating abjuration magic and can assume Fernleaf has been transformed
She retreats and informs the party.

Any buffs gang? Tom suggested those with spell absorption/counters in front, so pretty much standard marching order. Bucky, Anaba in front, Rolande and Shalelu, then Sekkim Lumpy. Cela is going to try and drop the ceiling on those b*@$!es...er witches if she can without killing us. Lumpy should probably grab the turtle and keep it safe, just watch out for the stinky poo.

Anaba up front. She has the spell absorption ring. Bucky next with a Magic Missile ready to hit the one that trys to cast anything. Mindful of course that the room is an illusion. Was Cela going to tunnel in the other side? Rolande could get a shot in too that way. We might need them to put Fernleaf right though. Have we thought of parlaying with them?
| GM Pablo |
OK starting the Party - you enter into the fog and Anaba emerges ready to attack. The Hags are ready for her as soon as she is in view (prepared action). This is higher than 4th level spell so the spell absorption won't work. Anaba Will save.
"How do you like that my pretty? He he he he!"
Anaba sees the Hags are now in their true form - it seems they have dropped their illusions.
They are large humanoids. Briselda is a hulking, humpbacked hag with oversized talons sprouting from her stumpy arms. Grelthaga is tall and thin, like a skeleton wrapped in ugly purple flesh and a sagging white robe. Larastine's face is a mass of pustules, warts the size of gold pieces, and craters that weep ooze. She is squat and fat with bulbous breasts that hang almost to her knees.
| GM Pablo |
Sorry was a Reflex save, but you make the roll and avoid being trapped in a Force cage.
