I do think in general having ashling out in front makes sense, as a scout and trap finder. I think in this particular instance, though, the horse will quickly outpace you, given the nasty elements :)
Perhaps in general, a good order would be this: Ashling out front, Garran second to easily engage with her, myself third to get in easy reach range, Serena fourth, because squishy, and Dragos in back, because of his better mobility.
In this specific case, though, given the terrain, we want Dragos in front clearing a path (and he moves faster than anyone in this muck, so it wouldn't make sense for him to be waiting for others to go first), then myself/Ashling, Serena, and Garran?

I'm doing great! :) Been really busy lately with work and christmas, but things should be calming down a bit soon. Made some memories with my 3 year old nephew and 1 year old niece. Their parents hate me. Good times. <3
