The gargoyles arise from their crouched position upon hearing Triela's call.
They expand their stone wings and look to he heading in your direction.
Summer and Kwin are up.
Feel free to position yourself how you want.
I don't have a token for Roban.
Tell me if the map doesn't work or you can't move your token.

Summer Meritt |

Summer retrieves a bronze griffon statue from her pack and calls,
"Stormwing alokba nahas rihee!" Hurling it forward.
With a piercing sound somewhere between roar and raptor's screech the griffon Stormwing appears in mid air and swoops down pouncing upon the gargoyles!
Cracking his neck and tightening his grip on his great falchion Roban readies himself to charge the first creature to approach.

Kwin Avassar |

Kwin sighs and thinks Sometimes it is a curse being right all of the time.
"Don't resist my spell, friends. It will help deal with these creatures."
Casting Haste. He will cast it on everyone except Estela, the griffon and his scorpion familiar.
Six round duration.

Estela Medial |

Estela pulls her crossbow out, and readies to shoot at the first gargoyle that comes within 80 feet of the party. She thinks, I'm not sure I want to use my spells just yet. We just got here.
Crossbow Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 81d8 ⇒ 3
Masterwork darkwood crossbow with a regular bolt. Not that my roll will actually hit this round.

Since a griffon is a magical beast does he overcome magical dr? I assume not but I'm not sure.
The griffon's attacks would normally rend anything in it's way but the gargoyle pays it no heed.
A nearby gargoyle begins his onslaught of attacks at the nearby griffon.

Any of those hit?
Estela, Triela, and Shon'dar are up.

Summer Meritt |

The gore hits for 3 damage, and no it would not overcome DR magic.

Shon'dar Akbad |

Shon'dar takes a breath and waits to see what her companions do. Once they have acted she takes a step forward and lets three arrows fly at the gargoyles. As she nocks and releases them in quick succession, she says to Triela, "This-- sees why--we wanted--to shoot first. There were spells I could have cast to make this easier; distance we could have put between us to give us more time before they reach us."
token is premptively moved on the map
comments on attack types (in this case, piercing, cold iron, and magic) is inline with attack rolls
Note that between Precise Shot and Solo Tactics + Volley Fire, Shon'dar is never penalized for shooting into melee and is never penalized by soft cover from friendly creatures
Coordinated shot applies here since the Griffon is friendly and adjacent to Shon'dar's target
Round 1 action:
delaying until every ally that is up before the next batch of gargoyles takes an act
5' step
Flurry of Arrows: targeting criteria: prefer within Longbow range (110ft.) first, also prefer adjacent to griffon and within 15' feet of targets picked by teammates to benefit from Volley Fire
I think there is only one gargoyle that meets the first condition, so it should be straightforward
Rolls:
no range penalties or volley fire bonuses included below. Also did not include studied target, but if you want to say I happened to study the gargoyle I'm now shooting at, then that is +1 attack and damage for all attacks against that gargoyle
Longbow, attack, deadly aim, coordinated shot, haste: 1d20 + 14 - 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 14 - 2 + 1 + 1 = 27 for piercing, cold iron, MAGIC: 1d8 + 1 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 1 + 4 = 9
Longbow, attack, deadly aim, coordinated shot, haste: 1d20 + 14 - 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 14 - 2 + 1 + 1 = 21 for piercing, cold iron, MAGIC: 1d8 + 1 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 1 + 4 = 10
Longbow, attack, deadly aim, coordinated shot, haste: 1d20 + 14 - 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 14 - 2 + 1 + 1 = 28 for piercing, cold iron, MAGIC: 1d8 + 1 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 1 + 4 = 7
Active Status effects:
haste: +1 attack, +1 AC, +1 reflex save, +30' Move speed, one extra attack per full-round attack
Maybe armor : +4AC
Total AC is 24

Shon'dar Akbad |

no, I delay until Triela and Estel have acted. Then I take the listed action. You can't technically ready more than a standard action, but it gets tricky with PbP, where you can essentially post a delayed action ahead of time

Estela Medial |

Estela sees that the griffon doesn't do much damage so she prays for Divine Favor for herself in hopes that it will help. "My Lady Pharasma guide my hand and strengthen my weapons."

Shon'dar Akbad |

looks like I'll be targeting the one I marked in red. I'm not positive, but I think he's the only one with no range penalties. If he goes down the other two next to the griffon would be the next targets.

I have just realised, as I checked Init order, that there are 8 gargoyles.... holy flying shit, tell me this isn't the low level entrance. Because pure sods, this is overkill... I love it!

Estela Medial |

I was hoping to try a different entrance away from the gargoyles but things went too fast. And now we fight.

Shon'dar Akbad |

yeah, this may be a tough fight. I'm concerned about how little damage Shon'dar's arrows do. :-(
-Posted with Wayfinder

Summer Meritt |

Estela could I ask you to consider casting magic weapon on Roban's falchion? That would bring his damage up by 10 points. He does 2d4+12 with Power Attack at +11 to hit, but not having to take 10 off that would be very helpful. I believe all the other big hitters have magic weapons.

Shon'dar Akbad |

I was hoping to try a different entrance away from the gargoyles but things went too fast. And now we fight.
yeah. That's where I thought the plan was going as well since Triela didn't want to fight the gargoyles
-Posted with Wayfinder

Estela Medial |

I would be happy to cast it on my next turn. I looked at the others and came to the same conclusion about the magic weapons. I didn't think to check Roban.

that gargoyle took 26+ damage and is still flying. We may want to run from this fight, unless several of you feel confident you can dish that much out each round.

Summer Meritt |

If he gets magic weapon Roban can probably beat them on his own, they need 20s to hit him, and hasted he can kill one a round or so. If they do get lucky and kill him he's a eidolon, if you guys want to leave Summer will go invisible and wait with him.
Summer lays her hand upon Roban's back and chants, the eidolon swelling and expanding before her. Grinning evilly the genie flexes four sets of biceps and gives his massive falchion an experimental swing.
Roban delays and will go after the first gargoyle comes up to attack the part. Enlarged his AC is 28.
Roban Potential Attack of Opportunity PA: 1d20 + 11 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 11 + 1 + 1 = 31 Damage: 3d6 + 11 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (5, 3, 2) + 11 + 3 + 1 = 25

You do seem to forget that Baldhus, the party tank, has 28 AC too and can self heal and lay some pain. We got this!.... and this is the kind of self-confidence that will kill us in the end ^^

Kwin Avassar |

Kwin will ready his club and ready an action to cast Ray of Frost at the first gargoyle that comes into range.
To hit 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Damage 1d3 ⇒ 3
Please Note: if any PC is successfully grappled by a gargoyle, Kwin will cast Liberating Command as an immediate action to give them an immediate and extra chance to break the grapple.

Triela of Devilbane |

Triela readies an attack with her whip on the next enemy that enters range.
atk: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 111d3 ⇒ 31d6 ⇒ 1
d3 nonlethal
d6 shock
Also, you forgot Filly, the guard dog, not the she does much attacking, but she might get an occasional aoo or provide flanking simply by chance. She basically just follows behind me.

Shon'dar Akbad |

With gargoyles blocking her view of her original target and more of them closing in, Shon'dar takes a step back and picks a new target at the far end of her bowrange. I think the others can take those closer three beasts.
GM, would you pick a gargoyle to be my studies target or would you prefer me to do it?
Don't forget my allies do not offer any soft cover
Round 2 action:
