Elathras scratches his head, "Hey Kaz this door is locked, should we see if any of these others are unlocked we need to rest somewhere." as he is speaking to Kaz he walks up to the door infront of Kaz to the east and studies it for traps and locks.

Elathras nods his head in agreement with Kaz and Gruk, "It might be a good place to get out but we are not leaving without Beltin, when we get stronger lets come back, but it doesn't look like a good place to rest to me, shall we look some place else?"
Shutting the door and then looking back down the hall Elathras starts walking that way, "Hey Gruk, lets check one of these other doors we came past to see if we can rest there." Returning back down the hall Elathras goes past the first locked door and checks the door before it for locks and traps.

realizing that his key doesn't work on the fancy lock, Elathras shrugs his shoulders and moves on to the other door on the south side that he passed further west "Well Gruk, one last door over here, right?" He goes to the last door that he passed and checks it for locks and traps.

crestfallen, Elathras returns to the party "My key doesn't work an any of those doors back there, I don't want to sleep in the room with the dirt floor. Has anyone seen anywhere else we can check? Has any one looked down the hall to the south?"

Elathras is at a strength of 7 and if we break the door we can't shut it to rest, Beltin Is at a strength of 1 in a room at the end of a hallway with a spiked ball rolling up and down it, with three days worth of food.
Elathras nods in agreement with Kaz and Mitleid "Beltin would know what to do if he were here, but he was too weak to follow, I guess we could go where he is if you guys want to."

It is also very cold in the hallway and there is brown stuff all over the west wall.
This room contains a huge stone coffin and the moldering corpse of a small humanoid next to it.
Beltin is in the room north of this crypt and hallway
Elathras nods his head in agreement, "Follow me, when you get there could you grab my shield and bow and arrows, you can use them if you want to!" Leading Mitleid and anyone else that wants to follow. back down the hallway, through the room they entered past the stairs, into the second door down another hall, into a room with a crypt and a dead body, Elathras stops and points up the hallway with the rolling spiked ball "Beltin is up there, but watch out it is really cold and the spiked ball hurts.
then pointing to the dead Halfling corpse, "And his pack has gold and worms in it, but I don't know what is in the crypt, I didn't open it."

we need to find out who followed Mitleid and Elathras. If any of them are carrying ropes and hooks. Or if Kaz came along, to heal folks. If Elathras was at full HP he should be able to run in and drag Mitleid out.

Kaz would have went with the group to try to save everyone. He would not have got within range of the metallic ball. "I don't have any channel energy spells left. I can only heal someone by using a spell, which means via touch. I can't get to them."

Realizing his friend is safe Elathras, the stress of the situation overwhelming him slouches to the cold floor near where he dropped the sword and torch fatigued. Looking up to Kaz he pats the unconscious Mitleid on the shoulder and asks. "Can you do something to help him Kaztor?"

@ Kaz I assume the CMW was for Mitleid to get him conscious. Also, could you use some of you tindertwigs and oil to burn the "worms" in the dead halflings pack so they don't eat any of us?

Elathras shrugs his shoulders, addressing Kaz, Mitleid and Irenicus; pointing around the crypt they are standing in. "We could rest here or in the hallway outside, we have the key to the first door." Scratching his head a little then he pulls up his silk scarf covering his missing nose. "Of course we should kill the worms eating the Halfling. Come on Irenicus lets go get everyone else. maybe you can make another floaty disk to carry Daal." Turning to leave he suddenly turns back :"And lets not open the coffin, that just doesn't seem like a good idea yet."

Elathras leaves and returns up the hallway to the north-west, finding the rest of the party he recommends "Lets go rest in the crypt near where Beltin in, there is not a lot of space but we have the key to the door so nothing should come in the hallway." He approaches Daal, "Come on Daal, let us help you carry your stuff, can you walk?"
brv, I am assuming that Elathras, Gruk and Dolgrin (with possible help form Irenicus) can get Daal to the crypt. If elathras needs to use up the rest of his rage's to do so he will. After everyone is in the crypt or the hallway outside (to the east not the north ;) elathras will use the key to lock the door.
Ok, assuming we are able guys, how many days do we want to rest in the crypt?

Kaz tries to burn the worms, waiting until the whole group was there, not wanting them to transform into super worms and eat him whole without a trace.
Once the group decides to take a break, Kaz blows his Lesser Restoration spell on Ela, trying to regain some of his strength.

We probably need at least two days.
Gruk will have his spell slots back pretty quick.
But Beltin and Daal are both in serious need of Kaztor's spells and skills in healing.
With brv's permission lets rest at least three days, that's how much food Beltin has. We cannot help Beltin much with him the other side of the spike ball. So if you spell casters want to do three days worth of helpful stuff that would be awesome. Also Elathras noticed that there is some brown stuff on the wall in the hall that is very cold. does anyone know what it is or how to kill it?
Having returned with the rest of the party Elathras notices that Kaz had burned the worms he started to count coins that were in the dead halflings pack. Having gotten to 20 several time Elathras stops and asks "Hey Gruk, do you want to count the gold coins? I seem to have ran out of toes."
As Kaz uses another spell to restore some of Elathras strength Elathras nods smiling, then pulls his silk scarf back over his nose "Thanks Kaz! If everyone gets comfortable we should be able to rest here for a while!"
As Elathras prepares to rest he asks "Can I borrow a blanket from someone? I left mine with the skellies and I don't want to go get it.?" Then remembering more he points out "Hey Irenicus your real smart; there is some brown stuff on the wall in the hall that is real cold, do you know what it might be? Be careful, it's in there by the spiked ball!"
@ brvheart, In roll20 you said the spiked ball fills the hallway so we can't suspend a rope to have him crawl on. Can we shoot or throw anything over the ball?

Since the Heart of Arden is all that is left of the god, no eating hearts would not go over well. Well played Virgil.
So for watches:
1- Irenicus, Dolgrin
2- Elathras, Gruk
3- Virgil, Mitleid
Katzor can pick whatever watch he wants with all covered.
went back through all the discussion post and couldn't find a "watch list" so I found this one and hoped it would do. Kaz if you would fill in for Virgil that would be wonderful, that would let Daal and Beltin totally rest.
The door off of room #1 should be locked and Belting I recommend you sleep with your back against the door so you know if the skellies are coming.
Lets rest for three days, Kaz could you cast three days worth of lesser restoration on Daal? and heal on anyone who needs it?
then we need to start thinking about how to get Beltin past the ball or get food to him so he doesn't starve waiting for his strength to recover.

Ok going with the premise of no heal checks but a full day of complete rest and Kaz's rolls
Day 1 - 2 points for complete rest + 3 points for spell = 5 (so at 6 Str)
Day 2 - 2 points for complete rest + 9 points for spell = 11 (so at 17 Str)
Day 3 - 2 points for complete rest (back to full Str) Kaz keeps his 3 spell slots

As far as I know that doubles the hp recovered, but not stats. Will check to be sure.
