Elathras works at the gate for about a minute with the crow bar and manages to work it lose from the lock in the floor. It now slides easily to the ceiling.

Elathras wipes the sweat off of his forehead, and pulls the scarf back over his exposed nostrils, smiling at the team "Nothing works like a crowbar" He then heads back to the door at the end of the hallway, asking Beltin, "Do you think the laugher lives here?" he then listens carefully at the door while he looks for locks and traps. if clear he then opens the door and looks inside.

did Elathras find anything?

The floor of this room is five feet lower than the doors, and the entire floor burns with magical flames reaching to a height of two feet. In other words, there is a three foot gap from door level down to the top of the flames, the flames are two feet high, and the floor is at the bottom.
Elathras Narcinal
"Look Gruk, a flaming floor, good thing it's down there" pointing to the floor of the room room 33 Elathras, setting aside his hammer and torch, lays down on the floor in the hallway and hanging his arm out a little reaching slowly toward the floor to see it the two foot tall flames are producing heat or not.

"Good thinking, Ela. This might be some sort of illusion and not actual flames. If so, I bet it's protecting something good!"
brvheart
You discover that the heat starts one foot above the level of the flames and that the flames themselves are as hot as normal flames—the heat just doesn’t rise very high, for some reason.
Each door has a button next to it on the inside of the room to the left of the door. The button can easily be reached from the door without any risk of falling into the flames.
brvheart
Pressing one of the buttons by the east or west doors releases a thirty foot bridge from beneath the door, which extends at door level (three feet above the fire). In addition to the fiery floor and the buttons, the room has a third strange feature: chains hang from the twenty foot tall ceiling at ten-foot intervals, each chain fifteen feet in length.
Elathras Narcinal
does the bridge only go to the west bridge? also to the chains hang off over the room so we can swing from them to get to the southern doors? Are there thresholds that a person hanging from a chain can stand on?
"Hey look Gruk, a bridge" Elathras stands up, gathering up the torch and his hammer, using the handle of the hammer he presses on the bridge to make sure it's safe.
brvheart
The walls are sheer, but the chains are traversable, but not easily. You would need to be able to grab each chain in turn and hold on.
Elathras Narcinal
are we talking a strength roll or a acrobatic roll?
Elathras goes to the end of the bridge and looks around then he asks, "Hey Gruk, do you think we can swing on these chains?"
brvheart
Think perhaps someone with a character with an INT higher than 7 wants to reread the room descriptions?
Elathras Narcinal
so can we attack the chains with ropes making rope bridges we can dangle from, incase only one floor bridge can be out at a time?
Elthras stands, alternating from scratching his head then scratching his rear end then rubbing under his scarf, "What do we do now Gruk? Can we use the falchion somehow?"
brvheart
ok, start making me some acrobatics checks then Beltin. One for every 5'. So about 5 of them depending if you are going east or south.

Mitleid presses the other buttons at the other door.
You have to get to the other door in order to press them, or tell me now you are going to do that?
Elathras Narcinal

As Elathras is jumping for the chain to the east, Mitleid patiently shoots the button for the southern door then he patiently turns and shoots the button for the eastern door, raising the bridge a foot below Elathras dangling on the Chain. Elathras looks at the two bridges and droping onto the bridge he smiles and returns fallen scarf to his nose, "Good shooting Mitleid!"
He returns and picks up his hammer and seeing the marksman dwarf turn south he moves toward the eastern door "I will take a look, OK Mitleid?" and looks for locks and traps, if clear he opens the door and looks inside.
