I thought the tower was in a clearing. Where did the goblin drop prone to that we can't see him? I would think Chad could still hit him. Maybe I misread something, I thought the goblin was walking outside.
he is on the top of the tower... maybe I didnt phrase that correctly..?
Sorry if I didnt clarify that

Forgot to have goblin roll spot for you... so1d20-1
safethe goblin sentry on the tower thought it had seen something and now assumes that it had fled.
it mutters something and goes back to patrolling
You are now at the edge of the forest, facing the clearing. The tower's door is thirty feet uphill

Ironic, that. :D
Ok. I know I was gone again. >< This time it was a vacation. The good news is, I no longer have any more vacations, I have a computer, the building's internet seems to have stabilized, I'm working on schedules with my therapist to keep me organized, and most of my other friends seem healthy and unlikely to go into the hospital for emergency surgery!
In fact, next month my mother is going to the US for almost two months, giving me a lot of time to be lonely and clingy to you all. :)
Point being, I am here. Most likely my scheduling will put me on one post a day minimum to keep me organized, but that'll be better than on again off again.
Apologies again for the yoyoing. I've been trying different meds and not meds and its wrecking havok with sleep and general ability to focus; either I'm sleeping 14 hours a day, or I'm awake but a zombie.
Hopefully that will work out soon.

I will be on vacation starting Saturday and will not be back until the following Saturday evening. However I will have my laptop with me so I should be able to post each day but I'll make no promises. I'll probably will be able to post more this evening in the event something happens.
If you need my character to make an action and I'm not around, feel free to do what you feel is best.

It seems to be a matter of both sides hesitating.
GM, in most cases we state our intent pretty clearly. It's up to you to tell us what we perceive, or what happens.
At every single doorway we can't just say "we walk through the door and look around the room" because the door might be trapped, or there might be an ambush,
When we make a perception check, or any other open-ended roll, we need you to take over our character for a second and tell us what happens.
It's alright, really. No one will mind if you make some assumptions about our actions to move the story along.
Just be more assertive.

Seems this has died, a shame. This was the first game I found and signed up for. Hopefully I'll see you guys around in other games.
I am going to take Naldoc and try to enter another homebrew game so I'll be altering this alias and changing him up, officially removing him from this game in the process. Take care, fellas.
