No, its a magical beast and not a normal animal. But its about as smart as an animal and will react like an animal. It is not a monster or anything. I hate to see any creature tormented. I'd prefer to bait Axetongue Droaeb. What a terrible thing to do to slowly torture and kill a creature for the amusement of others! She seems indignant. Still, I guess its for the greater good.

Ok. You will get Barkskin AND Longstrider. I am hoping you are faster than it after that buff. Does the party want the mist or a second cure light? I actually planned for the second cure light, but in theory we had time to discuss tactics before showing up. Also, Prisism, getting some grease out might limit the thing's ability to charge. Mostly thinking out loud here.

You are right. I had forgotten. Longstrider will go on Droogami. Lini's bond with the cat allows her to cast personal spells on it.

Records state that it has multiple heads and this one has at least 5!
The beast has an ability to heal itself and though it can be slain by cutting of all its head or striking at its body, be warned that cutting off its head would make it grow two more! Applying Fire or Acid would prevent the stump from growing.
It has being known to strike multiple times with its heads and its charge is fearsome!
This can be impressive to see!
Lannior moves forward as Omrijka attempts to please the crowd as well. Her performance receives a poor response.

As the first head hits with a bite, Lannior's life flashes in front of his eyes! Adrenaline kicks in as he bob and weaves to avoid the other head's attacks. Somehow still alive he steps back and careful not to drop his guard, drives his longspear at the hydra.
Miriel atempts to taunt the beast into attacking her while Lannior stabs it viciously in its leg!! The beast roars but for the crowd, the crowd cheers even more loudly nearly drowning out the roar.
