"Healys. Here."
Goog uses several charges of CLW on Reta and whoever else needs it.
Reta:
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Mic:
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Poog the Sagacious
Poog looks longingly at Reta...her toothy smile, her bridal gown, her glowing red eyes.
So...pretty...
He then scowls at Goog, who had the idea to heal her all the way, even though he had been the one who had saved her. Now she liked both of them.
Poog mentally went through all the ways he could kill his twin brother, trying to determine the best way, as they made their way back to their village.

You are in high spirits on your way back to the birdcruncher cave. Soon a feast, with truffle handcakes -- even if you had to get the truffles yourselves.
As you come over a hill looking down into your tribe's home, though, you immediately see that something is wrong. The smoke you saw, that you assumed was just the bonfire, is also coming from the goblin dog pens, which are alight, and from a big statue-like thing in the middle of your gathering area. This must be the effigy that Reg Runtweed and Plunger were working on, but why is it on fire? No, wait, it's not on fire -- it has fireworks shooting off of it, and a fire inside a pot-bellied stove that is part of it.
And that smell in the smoke... a strange, greasy smell, peppered with wood, straw and sulfur -- could it be goblin? Cooking goblin?
And the voice shrieking over the dismayed shouts and screams of your tribe sounds terribly familiar. If you hadn't killed her yourselves, you would swear that sounded like Vorka, the cannibal goblin hermit you slew in your first adventure. Wait, isn't that a smoke-stained goblin skull nailed to the jack-o-lantern on the top of the effigy? And didn't Reg and Plunger say something about going back to the sites of your previous triumphs to find trophies to incorporate into the statue they were making?
Vorka's ghost must be controlling this terrible thing, as it runs about killing your tribe-mates, and more importantly ruining your feast!

Poog the Sagacious
Poog visibly blanches as he sees what must once have been Vorka attacking their home. Of all their enemies, she had been the one to torment his dreams.
He reaches a trembling hand out and casts a protective spell on Reta, hoping the prettiest goblin survives.

The hideous effigy seems to see the chiefs appearing at the top of the rise, and starts marching towards them, trampling over the birdcruncher goblins as it goes, leaving them crushed and bleeding on the ground behind it. A firework goes off, flying at another nearby goblin and setting her hair on fire. All goblins nearby it try to run away, but the closest one gets smashed to the ground and burned by another firework as he tries to flee.
Vorka's voice, distorted and enraged, booms out of the central pot-bellied stove body of the effigy.

The bomb sails through the air and impacts the effigy's junk-covered torso, but doesn't do a lot of damage. Mogmurch recalls that his bombs don't do as much damage to hard objects as they do to creatures.
Hardness and being an animated object reduce the damage.

The arrow hits, but does no damage to the hard iron of the stove at the center of the effigy.
GM Paladin

Like Reta's arrow, the fire bolt impacts the hard body of the effigy without doing any appreciable damage.

OK, I'm pulling back that square to give more room - I kinda expected you guys to move closer.
The effigy roars and charges at Mogmurch and Goog, trying to trample them under its feet. This functions as an overrun. If you choose to take an AoO against it, you get the attack, but do not get to make a reflex save. If you try to move out of the way, you can make a Reflex save, DC 18, for half damage. Before saving, the damage is 16 for Mogmurch and 13 for Goog.
Then a desnan candle attached to its head goes off, spouting fire at Goog. 7 damage, DC 15 Reflex to halve.
Some of the braver goblins come a little closer, and yell at Mic, "Chief Mic! You kill that big bad thing?"

"Healy magics might hurt it! That best way to destroy stupid Vorka again!"
Goog casts cure moderate wounds defensively and tries to touch the effigy.

Goog's spell is cast, but he is distracted by the sparklies and misses his touch. The spell stays on his hand, ready to be delivered next round. At least I ASSUME an 11 won't hit...
Poog the Sagacious
I used my cure moderate on Reta last combat, so I'll have to settle for lesser spells.
Poog runs up to support his brother, despite thinking it would be fun to see the effigy rend him in two.
However, his mixed feelings about the combat mean he can't strike the enemy with his wand, and he misses badly.
Meanwhile, Nord tries to gore the thing.

Goog succeeds in touching the lumbering, clumsy body with his spell, and the whole thing shakes and shudders as he delivers the positive energy attack.
Poog, Nord is the blue-outlined pig. Nora is pink. Do you want Nord to move up and attack? He'll provoke an attack of opportunity, unless GoogPoog takes it first.
AoO: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18
damage: 1d8 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + 6 + (2) = 12
Edit: Nevermind, Goog is already there. Poog is the one who needs to roll acrobatics or provoke.
GM Paladin

By the way, Goog and Poog, you're calculating your touch attack wrong. It should be +4 instead of +3 because you're small sized.
Reta BB
|
Reta sees that her arrows are too small to do any damage. She instead switches to her dogslicer and prepares to go into melee once again. Reta drops her bow and draws her weapon as part of a powerful charge against the foul living statue.
Charge attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 181d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Reta hits the moving statue easily, but needs to try to hit a little harder if she's going to really damage it.
You've hit this enough to be able to tell that this thing has hardness 5. Not DR, hardness. Since it's an animated object, energy damage is also reduced by hardness, and halved as well. The positive energy damage of healing spells is an exception to this, since it's attacking the spiritual energy animating it, not the structure itself.
Mic Chuffy
Sadface.. Poison will do nothing.. Does Mic see another person who is controlling the thing?

I don't know whether you folks think you're waiting on me, I was waiting for Poog to roll acrobatics or just take the AoO, and Mic to do something. Oh wait, Mic applied spider venom. Mic, there's a 5% chance of exposing yourself when applying poison to a weapon. I rolled it for you, but you're good now. I'll roll for Poog, too.
Poog manages to dodge closer to the effigy when its back is turned, avoiding an attack. Zarongel must be with him.
Angrily, Vorka's spirit directs the effigy's attacks against the only goblin to hurt her significantly so far. Goog ducks under one of the giant limbs, only to be smashed to the ground by the second, and badly burned by an exploding firecracker at the same time. 13 damage to Goog. Goog needs to make a DC 12 reflex save or catch on fire.
A stray firework spins off into Reta's hair and starts merrily shooting off sparks. 9 damage to Reta, DC 15 Reflex to halve.
All PCs are up! Poog, Nord didn't move or attack last turn because you didn't move the icon of the pig. When moving it, be aware that the effigy has a reach of 10 ft.

Goog's spell does 7 damage actually, because your caster level is 4.
Goog channels another burst of positive energy to hurt Vorka, and a supernatural screech fills the air.
Mogmurch's bomb slightly scorches the surface of the effigy.
Reta tries to call on the dog, but it just whines and backs away from the strange thing full of fire and death.
