Tsadoc's parents were an adventuring couple and they raised him in the manner of a good adventure. But the sea called to the half orc and he put his strength to use earning money at the docks. He longed to join the ships leaving the bay year after year. When he came of age he promised he would be on the next ship, but watched with sad eyes as it left. 47 other ‘next ships’ left the harbor that spring.
Tsadoc discovered a small leopard shark with skin mottled like his own he befriended the creature that winter. Its spotted dorsal fin often made circles around his legs in the tide pools. The shark eventually followed the season and swam for cooler waters. Tsadoc boarded the 48th ship.
Tsadoc spent three decades as a sailor, making first mate on the Crystal Dino when a group of adventurers booked passage. There he met a young woman with dark blue hair and a starfish at her crown. She discovered his skills with the fish, and began teaching him about her trade. Familiar with adventurers, Tsadoc learned quickly and the promised to teach him more about his true calling; where he could learn more about the sea than even a sailor could know. Tsadoc resigned his post and left at the next harbor to apprentice with the woman.

This is a very high quality field. If I had more bandwidth, I'd open another table or two, because I'd really like to see more of these characters have space to breathe and grow.
