No sweat. It's around 1200 GP and 2 Prestige right? We can start shopping without the boons.
Thanks again for running :-)
P.S. No Day Job for Dissa

Marina, I'm sure we'll get lots of opportunity for reaching and tripping and reflexively combating in the future. At least you realized it after the first scenario :-)
Also, since we are in Osirian, with Marina, what about a sandy scenario from this season?

Those boons are so Marina! Nice. I'm down for another sandy adventure.
I might save up for the figurine, pretty neat, if not optimal.
for Kontha, Dulomak should be able to buy the amulet, even if it wasn't on the chronicle because it's likely you have enough prestige to buy anything 4k or less that's either core or in a book you own.

Dissa isn't going to buy anything. He's saving up for an Adamantine Fauchard.
He will burn his 2 PP on a scroll with two Keen Edge spells on it. Hopefully we either get a new Arcane Caster, or Seltyiel makes his DC 6 caster level check.
Also, now I definitely want to go back to Osirian with that boon! 5 round insight bonus!

2 Prestige points can be spent for any item with up to 750 go. Therefore, every scenario can buy you a 1st level wand, a scroll with 15 1st level spells, 5 2nd level spells, or 2 3rd level spells.
Most people want to save prestige to buy a raise dead spell (16PP). However, I have a "debt to the society boon" which lets me raise a character while going into negative prestige points. Therefore, I have no reason so bank or save prestige.
All the rules for fame and prestige are described in the Guide to Organized Play.

No. You can't bank 20 PP and purchase a 7500 gp item.
Check out the Guide, it's got all the rules. Click the third banner down in the left column on this screen for Pathfinder Society.

Ok, sorry, can we do a quick recap of team-relevant things (e.g. teamwork feats) in case anything has changed?
I picked up bodyguard and I have lots of attacks of opportunity, trips and grapples, so a reminder of what y'all have that interact would be great. Thanks and I look forward to another scenario!

I put all the descriptions of this stuff in my stay block, but here are the cliff notes:
Dissa is built to provoke AoO and generate crits. The build focuses on the synergy between Outflank and Paired Opportunists: Crits generate AoO + AoO generate AoO.
Thus far Dissa has the following traits & feats:
Tianjing Temple Guard (+1 Attack on AoO with polearms)
Defensive Strategist (never flatfooted)
Exotic Weapon Proficiency
Power Attack
Combat Reflexes
Paired Opportunists
The Paladin archetype "Holy Tactician" trades aura of courage for battlefield presence, which grants a teamwork feat to allies within 30 feet. This aura is a standard action to activate, but lasts indefinitely once established. Therefore, as long as you are within 30 feet of Dissa, you have Paired Opportunists.
Next level I plan to take a level if Swashbuckler (Guiding Blade archetype) which uses panache to grant teamwork feats. I will take Outflank, which Dulomak and Kontha already have. I could grant Outflank to allies with a standard action, lasting 4 rounds.
At 5th level I will take Brawler (Exemplar archetype) which gives me access to martial flexibility, basic performance, and the tactician ability.
At either 7th or 9th level I plan to take Flagbearer and buy a Banner of the Ancient Kings.
By 9th level Dissa will be able to grant 3 teamwork feats, +2 Morale Attack/Damage/Saves, +2 Competence Attack/Damage, and +4 initiative in a single round. With the Sandals of Quick Reaction that includes surprise rounds.
Obviously it's easier and faster if everyone takes the feats themselves, but PFS is no guarantee for party compositions

The hunter and his dino kinda share their own feats but they are a pretty nasty pair.
Is it worth it to get a magic fang amulet for Kontha?
General Dissa Ray.
|
Sure! Magic fang is awesome. You likely want an amulet of mighty fists, which modifies natural attacks.
Eventually you can add weapon abilities to the amulet, like Fortuitous, and really take advantage of her skills.
I wouldn't worry about making it more than +1, as Dulomak will be able to cast Greater Magic Fang at some point.
The argument for +3 and +4 weapons bypassing DR is negated by the Animal Growth spell. You'll be doing so much damage that DR 5 or 10 will be irrelevant :-)
General Dissa Ray.
|
@Marina: Well, all of us have the feat through the aura. Adjacent to anyone in the party (including Kontha) gets you the +4 on AoO.
That's part of the benefit of the polearm. We all threaten over or behind the dinosaur or any 5' reach party member.
The next tricky part is with Outflank. It's difficult to be both flanking and adjacent. You either need multiple people on both sides of an opponent, or tricks like:
Gang Up
Pack Flanking
Improved Outflank

I have been home sick most of the day today but had to take my cat to the vet because he hadn't eaten in two days and vet was concerned. I should be back tomorrow night.

Finals arent that bad for teachers, well, for me. I give the kids projects that they work on in class and can work on at home. They are due at the time that class starts so I can spend the time grading them so the kids know how they did before the break.
