Io notices most of the few remaining arms in the room have rusted away, making them useless in combat.

DC 20 Appraise:
You're able to pick out a masterwork silver dagger, a masterwork light steel shield emblazoned with a leaping dolphin, and a banner depicting a bird made of living flame from between the rusted arms.

DC 20 Knowledge (local), after making the Appraise check:
You recognize the banner as belonging to the Band of the Phoenix, one of Absalom’s most famous hunting lodges during the Age of Blades. The banner is worth 100 gp but might be worth much more to a historian or collector like Alfred.

Io then opens the door south. The octagonal room revealed is covered in a fine layer of dust. It’s clearly been abandoned for a long time.

DC 20 Perception:
There's a javelin trap set to aim someone standing in the square in front of the northwest door. (Seen from room 5.)

You notice faint reptilian tracks in the dust in front of the northwestern door. (Seen from room 5.)

Io frowns at the trap then closes the door again.

"Then we try this last door...I'm guessin' it be leadin' to the stairs we saw blocked below..."

There's no need for Locke's lock picking skills to open the last door on this floor, which leads to the tower's central staircase. Although the lower portion of the staircase has collapsed, cutting off access to the ground floor, the staircase is whole on this floor and above and leads to the next floor.

The door that gives access to the next floor is locked, but Locke's able to pick the lock (using Locke's last post's roll). Two stone altars, one black and one white, sit at either end of this large chamber, which takes up two wings of the tower on this level. The crumbling remains of wooden benches sag in front of each altar beneath rotting ceiling tapestries. Carved symbols and writings snake along the walls. The burnt corpses of two troglodytes lie on the floor in the center of the room.

Jaquilin's roll was probably for the spoiler, not to identify the type of skeletons you were facing. Though you've defeated them so it doesn't really matter anyway.

Jaquilin identifies this room as a temple dedicated to Nethys, the god of magic, in both of his aspects: protection and destruction. The writings on the walls are quotes from Nethys’s holy book.

Hopefully the bat swarm isn't swarming them by the time Locke's turn comes around.

"Alchemist fire? You think too small. But do feel free to use it if you have it, or you could blind them in smoke."
Locke quickly puts together a sizzling ball and lobs it into the swarm.
"Burn, vermin, burn!"
The way Locke says it, is sounding sorta close to enthusiasm.

Ranged touch, PBS: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23BOOM: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
3 extra dmg vs swarms, total of 10.

I take it Ruegann means to delay.

Ruegann doesn't yet take any actions, except for asking Heveel what the druid can do about the bats.

Swarm damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Heveel, DC 11 Fort: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Locke, DC 11 Fort: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

The bat swarm moves toward the party and covers Locke and Heveel. Both receive a few minor bites.

Round 1:
Bat swarm
Ruegann
Heveel 9/10HP
Locke 9/10HP
Sago
Io
Jaquilin

Everyone's up now.

@Locke: I didn't yet apply your attack action, because I figured you and Heveel may want to move out of your bomb's splash radius first.

After waiting for his companions to clear the area, Io draws a flask from his bandolier and throws it in the most perfect of arcs. The acid flask breaks on the ceiling, and acid rains down, striking as many bats as it possibly could.

"Fire in th' hole!" Io yells as he throws it.

Delay until everyone is out, then draw and throw flask.

ranged touch acid flask: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 221d6 ⇒ 4
CRIT?: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 221d6 ⇒ 5 uh, yeah...9 dmg total

Er...sure.
If anybody's got a splash weapon or aoo spell, that'd do the trick.
Healing would be nifty afterwards..bleeding and all.
