Chukka motions everyone to stand to either side of the door, then opens it carefully, keeping himself hidden completely behind it.

At long last, someone finds enough courage to open the door and confront the voice. The double doors open into an office which has a rug laid out on the floor over rotted carpet, two salvaged bookshelves, and a small desk with a simple wooden chair behind it. Next to the chair is a grizzled man clad in chain shirt and with a rapier in hand. His other hand is currently pressing something in a depression on his side of the desk. Simultaneously, the porticullises to the east appear to open, and goblin gibberish can already be heard coming from there.
"Pathfinders. I should have known. No matter, your death will preserve the secret for the Shadow Lodge."

The apparent leader of this Shadow Lodge band moves around his desk and strikes Chukka before he even has a way of reacting. He manages to land a grazing blow.

Löthan, you don't have enough movement to flank with Chukka, unless you want to climb on the table. ;) I made you do a 5' step instead.

As Sedlarjan moves in, the freebooter sees the rapier aimed at his lungs, but his armor deflects the blow.
Rapier: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 161d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Sedlarjan strikes with amazing precision and might, cleaving through the man's body from shoulder to toe. He dies instantly, in a mess of blood and flesh.
The goblins can be heard from the other side of the porticullis, but you're quickly able to face them and dispatch them.
End combat!
After checking that there's no one left alive in the compound, you start searching for evidence. Your efforts are met with success as you see that on the man's desk were three letters that he was about to encode before sending. Fortunately, these three letters prove very incriminating - as well as very ominous about the presence of the Shadow Lodge in many cities in Golarion. Rooting the Shadow Lodge out is a task that has only just begun for you, it seems.
This is the end of the scenario, well done! I hope you enjoyed playing through it, even if it was a little more "dungeony" than part 1. Chronicle sheets will be issued in the Discussion thread shortly.
