Kouen and Henril haven't reported back yet. I'll give them another day to do so, but we can start looking for replacements for them IMHO, since we start in 24 hours.

A quick note - we need dedicated and regular players, since this is a timed event. We need to move fast if we want to stay on track.

Kouen just PMed me that he was withdrawing from this game, so both spots are confirmed available. If you know someone in the level 3-4 range don't hesitate to propose them, as long as you think they're reliable and frequent posters. Otherwise we'll just go with 4.

Being able to share pics of beloved characters like this is one more reason why I like this hobby so much.

I GM’d PFS locally a few times for a guy who always brought a (pretty good) pencil sketch of his character that he had done himself. Marvellous!

Overseer Announcment

“Pathfinders, please get settled. All campus-wide events are closing. All venture-captains and field agents are invited to gather on the north lawn for refreshments and the keynote address in several minutes.”

Table GMs Act 2 begins November 10th when the Overseer Announcement is made, please begin to conclude whatever contests are ongoing.

I'd like for us to clear the whole NW sector, then possibly move somewhere else. We don't know if there are bonuses or awards for "completing" a sector, so given how we just need 2 more locations here I ask that we stay here and clear the last 2 localtions and then move if we have time.

What Rogar is saying makes sense to me, but honestly I don't mind where we go.

I think what's more important is that we try to complete another encounter or two as fast as we can.

I vote to stay NW and bring it, GM Lithrac! ;)

Assumes fast paced... This, a table of 4, has already completed 2 encounters. My table of 6 is lolly-gagging in this one!

Just had an update from Jesse, most tables have completed two encounters at subtiers 1-2 and 3-4, one has even completed 3!

@GM Lithrac, My SO (who is not a gamer) and I are both Dr Who fans.

Although I love the Tom Baker years ... Blink is just about my favourite episode.

It definitely has a very memorable monologue.

Personally, I'm a Newvian. Not seen much of the older Who, but picked it up in the Smith years (towards the end, actually, right before the Ponds' exit). Still love Tennant, but Capaldi has his moments despite the many very rough moments and rushed storylines...

Blink is also one of my favourite Dr Who episodes, if not the one. My wife and I are big fans of these series. I loved the Tennant years, though Matt Smith is a fantastic doctor too. I'm not quite set on Capaldi just yet (we're about halfway through season 8, yeah, I know...)

I think David Tennant was a fabulous Dr Who (I couldn’t stand Rose though)

Today the special effects from the Fourth Doctor’s episodes are laughable, but aside from nostalgia (I remember getting scared half to death as a kid - just before dinner time), Tom Baker’s erratic behaviour was a treat to watch – I’m sure there were many times he went off-script or ignored direction, and they still went with it.

Also his female assistants were strong, smart and interesting (except for the two Romanas, who I didn’t care for) and didn’t always agree with the omnipotent Doctor.

Never got into Doctor Who. I know... I know... I'm a terrible Strider.

Thank goodness that there is someone else who doesn't like Rose! Thought I was alone on that...

I liked Clara before Capaldi. Then the writers really messed up. Rushed everything with the story and made her pretty much just Amy all over again.

I'm with Stag in my complete and utter ignorance about all things Doc Who... somehow the concept never appealed to me much. Sorry!

I watched the season with the awesome guy, Christopher Eccleston. I liked it a lot actually, but the shift to a new Doctor was jarring after I had just gotten into it, so I stopped watching.

Don't really remember anything though.

Dedicated caster, yes. Rangers are my cup of tea, so there's a little casting there, but I rarely use it.

Picking the spells is where it goes wonky for me. Always seem to prepare the wrong ones, hahaha. ('Fire and electricity? Here! Have a bunch of creatures immune to both.' Son of a biscuit...)
