Sior here. Leaning towards playing Kalista for this one. Don't know why. Likely me trying to get more comfortable with casters, haha.

Here we go:
Player name: Rogar Valertis
Character name: Rogar Valertis Alastoris
PFS #100733-1
Faction: Sovereign Court
Email address:elan1889[at]gmail[dot]com
Day job roll:Profession(soldier) check: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
Perception score:[dice=Perception check]1d20+2[ /dice]
Initiative score:[dice=Initiative check]1d20+6[ /dice]
Character sheet should be upgraded and ready. If possible I would like to buy a couple of items before starting (a cloak or resistance +1, a belt of giant's strength +2 and a wayfinder. It should cost Rogar 5250 gp, and he's got them)

Kouen and Henril haven't reported back yet. I'll give them another day to do so, but we can start looking for replacements for them IMHO, since we start in 24 hours.
A quick note - we need dedicated and regular players, since this is a timed event. We need to move fast if we want to stay on track.
Oh, and no problem to do purchases until we start of course.
Rogar Valertis Alastoris
|
Ok then I'll add belt, cloak and wayfinder to Rogar's sheet, please make sure to note the purchase. TY

Here's some additional information about how this special scenario is going to play out.
The Overseer GM, Jesse Davis, is going to post information on a regular basis at the following location: http://pathfindersocietyonline.com/2015/11/pbp-gameday-iv-siege-of-serpents -overseer-posts/, where some capital information will be communicated. It is paramount that you check that link every time you check the gameplay thread.
For ease of use, I've included the link in the header. The password to that website has been PMed to you - please don't divulge it or post it in a public area.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
I'm really happy about this game!

I took the liberty of sending a couple of PMs to people I know are strong posters and good players. I hope this helps us play at full strength.

Unfortunately Vanzetti is already playing the scenario with someone else but Xoricon hasn't answered yet, so there's still hope at least... :P

The artwork of Ennoia is truly awesome, GM Lithrac.
Being able to share pics of beloved characters like this is one more reason why I like this hobby so much.
I GM’d PFS locally a few times for a guy who always brought a (pretty good) pencil sketch of his character that he had done himself. Marvellous!
GM Lithrac

Thanks a lot Antonella! It was drawn by Carolina Eade, one of my favorite artists, who also contributed to many artworks for Paizo (for example in the Inner Sea World Guide).

“Pathfinders, please get settled. All campus-wide events are closing. All venture-captains and field agents are invited to gather on the north lawn for refreshments and the keynote address in several minutes.”
Table GMs Act 2 begins November 10th when the Overseer Announcement is made, please begin to conclude whatever contests are ongoing.

I'd like for us to clear the whole NW sector, then possibly move somewhere else. We don't know if there are bonuses or awards for "completing" a sector, so given how we just need 2 more locations here I ask that we stay here and clear the last 2 localtions and then move if we have time.

Use it if you want no problems from me, but we need to move on quickly, instead we seem to have hit a stop

It definitely has a very memorable monologue.
Personally, I'm a Newvian. Not seen much of the older Who, but picked it up in the Smith years (towards the end, actually, right before the Ponds' exit). Still love Tennant, but Capaldi has his moments despite the many very rough moments and rushed storylines...
Antonella Schiavo
|
I think David Tennant was a fabulous Dr Who (I couldn’t stand Rose though)
Today the special effects from the Fourth Doctor’s episodes are laughable, but aside from nostalgia (I remember getting scared half to death as a kid - just before dinner time), Tom Baker’s erratic behaviour was a treat to watch – I’m sure there were many times he went off-script or ignored direction, and they still went with it.
Also his female assistants were strong, smart and interesting (except for the two Romanas, who I didn’t care for) and didn’t always agree with the omnipotent Doctor.
Stag the Bold Strider
|
Never got into Doctor Who. I know... I know... I'm a terrible Strider.
Kalista Jordani
|
Thank goodness that there is someone else who doesn't like Rose! Thought I was alone on that...
I liked Clara before Capaldi. Then the writers really messed up. Rushed everything with the story and made her pretty much just Amy all over again.

I'm with Stag in my complete and utter ignorance about all things Doc Who... somehow the concept never appealed to me much. Sorry!
Stag the Bold Strider
|
I watched the season with the awesome guy, Christopher Eccleston. I liked it a lot actually, but the shift to a new Doctor was jarring after I had just gotten into it, so I stopped watching.
Don't really remember anything though.

After the latest report (E3 completed), I got a mail back from Jesse:
You guys are tearing through these ;b
That is indeed what is happening. To put things back into perspective, let's remember that there's no 4-player adjustment for this scenario. You guys are doing amazingly well!

That's nice, all things considered we make a pretty effective team
P.S.
And after writing this down I can feel my dumb luck turning away... come back, sweet lady... come BACKKK!!! :P
Stag the Bold Strider

Agreed. You seem to be pulling it off.
Also, the Core 4 party is legit.
Kalista Jordani
|
Dedicated caster, yes. Rangers are my cup of tea, so there's a little casting there, but I rarely use it.
Picking the spells is where it goes wonky for me. Always seem to prepare the wrong ones, hahaha. ('Fire and electricity? Here! Have a bunch of creatures immune to both.' Son of a biscuit...)
But many thanks. One of those times where one learns by going where to go.
