"Do not worry Rogar. I will cut you down to size."
+1 composite longbow (cat's grace, point-blank shot): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14 damage (gravity bow): 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (1, 4) + 5 = 10
But not with those rolls.
Belousov Zhabotinsky

I presume the red square is the groom?
Belousov decides to start the party with a blast of ice.
Catching all the enemies and no allies. DC 19 Reflex for half
Energy Blast: 5d6 + 3 ⇒ (2, 4, 4, 5, 6) + 3 = 24 cold damage
| GM Derek W |
[dice=Reflex "Vrald"]1d20[/dice]
[dice=Reflex "Rogar"]1d20[/dice]
The team moves in. Altair and Shonne are in a hurry and both unfortunately miss. Rogar closes in. Belousov unleashes a spell, and the enemies feel the full effect of the bitter cold. The larger "Pathfinders" look to be in a very bad way, with "Faireven" looking little better. Still, they fight on!
Yes, red square is the final bad guy. I'll try to update the token, but it may not be all that necessary.
The man who looks like Farendir utters an arcane phrase and a jet of flame leaps out of his hand towards Altair!
Ranged Touch?: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
The ray burns the rotten pew behind the rogue!
The large Rogar steps forward and takes a swing with his massive club and so does Vrald. Both target Altair!
Attack, cover: 1d20 + 7 - 4 ⇒ (6) + 7 - 4 = 9
Attack, cover: 1d20 + 7 - 4 ⇒ (4) + 7 - 4 = 7
Damage?: 2d8 + 7 ⇒ (6, 6) + 7 = 19
One attack hits!
Confirm?: 1d20 + 7 - 4 ⇒ (11) + 7 - 4 = 14
Vrald and Wembly are up, followed by everyone else!
Vrald Sehir

Vrald closes in as fast as his heavy armour will allow. Unfortunately he is just a smidgeon too far away to be able to charge.
"You're a poor imitation I must say. Come, fight the real me, and we'll see how your blade fairs against mine."
Wembly Templeton

Wembly will invisibly enter the building and casts haste on the warriors in the party.
"That ought to help ."
Rogar Valertis Alastoris
|
Mentally thanking Wembley for the boost to his movement speed Rogar springs towards the enemy caster:"I know the prospect of marriage can drive a man to do pretty insane things in order to avoid it! But even so I can't forgive this unseemly sham! On your guard, now!" he shouts slashing at "Faireven"...
Power attack roll: 1d20 + 13 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 13 + 1 = 33 -> Damage roll: 2d6 + 11 + 6 ⇒ (5, 6) + 11 + 6 = 28
Edit
Critical confirmation roll: 1d20 + 13 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 13 + 1 = 22 -> Damage roll: 2d6 + 11 + 6 ⇒ (1, 3) + 11 + 6 = 21
Thanks Wembley! That haste solved me the problem of how to approach mr bad guy. I was thinking about using my bow but a nice slash to the face should serve us better

It looks like Wembly goes before Vrald, if the GM allows it, Vrald would be able to get an attack in at the cost of eating an AOO if they have reach. AC will be 28 due to +1 from haste and -2 from charge.
charge against giant Rogar if allowed;PA, charge, haste: 1d20 + 13 - 2 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 13 - 2 + 2 + 1 = 33
cold iron and magical slashing damage, PA: 1d8 + 8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 8 + 4 = 15
Threat!
crit confirm;PA, charge, haste: 1d20 + 13 - 2 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 13 - 2 + 2 + 1 = 33
cold iron and magical slashing damage, PA: 1d8 + 8 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 8 + 4 = 16
| GM Derek W |
AOO, in case it matters: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
Rogar and Vrald close and and land brutal hits against their foes. Both the sorceror and the large Rogar drop to the ground, bleeding out so quickly that they appear to be beyond healing magic.
Altair al-Behzad
|
Reeling from the heavy blow, Altair stabs at the large Vrald again and then moves back.
Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
I think the cover should protect me from an AoO, but including an Acrobatics check just in case.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (20) + 11 = 31
Belousov Zhabotinsky
|
Belousov rushes forward, and tries to finish off the last opponent with a gout of flame.
Burning Hands: 5d4 + 3 ⇒ (1, 2, 1, 2, 1) + 3 = 10 (DC 17)
Suuuuuuuuuck!
Rogar Valertis Alastoris
|
"Well? Who's left?" thinks Rogar surveying teh scene that played out in just a few seconds.
| GM Derek W |
Altair and Belousov launch their attack, and their combined effort is more than enough to cause the second enlarged double to fall.
After a few moments, the features of all three change. The two bigger ones' faces turn puffy with small, beady eyes. You recognize them as ogres.
The sorcerer disguised as Farendir now looks like a well-groomed and handsome Kelishite man. He matches the description of your adversary.
Out of combat and we'll done! Thanks for sticking with the game even though it ran long. I'll do a wrap up post and hope to work on chronicles tonight. Any chronicle requests can go in the discusion

Rogar Valertis Alastoris

"Oh? It's not Faireven then?" says Rogar apparently puzzled at the identity of the man he just killed...
"Good, I guess, I didn't want a fellow pathfinder on my conscience... but who's this guy?" he finishes, scratching his head.
Ty GM for running the game

"Could this be the spurned suiter of our Lady of Silver?" asks Vrald.
"Guess he won't be bothering her any more."
It would seem he has little sympathy for such a man.
And many thanks for the game, this was a nice mix of different types of challenges. I liked the court scene in the middle!

Wembly smiles as the plot is thwarted.
Well done! Bravo! We have solved the riddle. Now, back to the party if it is not too late. I did not get dessert!
Thanks GM for running. Nice job on the scenario.

The fallen foe is indeed Raamiz Ibn-Chadli. After making arrangements with the authorities, you return to the wedding, the remaining stolen artifacts in hand.
Their marriage saved, the newlyweds see you off on you way to Absalom. They ensure that your fame spreads wherever they go. Rumor also spreads among the slavers of the region, word that the Pathfinder Society is not a group to trifle with. You travel with the thanks of Master Bashir, who continues to provide the Pathfinder Society with intriguing relics and assistance in Qadira.
The End!
