The Experiment, 322 |

Usually everyone's voice sounds like an empty wind, but Aram's voice is clear as day. The experiment shrugs and casts a spray of dark particles around Zey, hoping to tire him.
Casting Dust of Twilight in a 10x10 grid around Zey. Fort Save DC 16 or become fatigued.
"Oh, I can hear you. Is this why you're the master of scrolls?"
She then flies up to the second floor using her ebony wings.

Tongues :-)
Fort: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
Marnarius swipes twice, but only manages to pop one of the doubles.
Aram doesn huff and pant a bit after 322's weird jinx.

Grapple: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
Doubles have an AC 5 points lower than the actual character. If an attack wouldn't hit the character but still hit a double it pops the image. Atleast thats how I remember Mirror Image working.

Just to be clear, the "real" Aram Zey is the see through guy on the left side of the map and both Joliryn and the dragon are next to him right?
Joliryn steps up after Aram Zey once more.
(In case Aram Zey decides to step away next round, Jolyrin will use her step up next time to keep up with him)
and concentrates briefly on pouring more energy into her blade
(swift action to give it shocking and frost)
and seems to wait for something to happen

Botting Shohiraj
The professional walks along the balustrade at full speed, taking advantage of her invisibility and training in being silent and fast. With her sap in hand, she waits next to the wizard. Any sudden move, and he won't know what hit him.
Double move can put her next to Aram Zey. She has Fast Stealth, so has full move. No attack this turn, but she might be able to make a nonlethal sneak attack with her sap if Aram Zey provokes an attack of opportunity.

DM Kludde |

Aram Zey takes a step back, and Joliryn steps after him. When he starts casting, Joliryn attacks, popping the last illusory double
Conc: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (14) + 18 = 32

"Hehe! This is kinda fun!"
She giggles and does a quick jig as the air briefly turns bitterly cold.

Marnarius, the Vengeful |

Marnarius gives a malicious grin as the last double pops. "Now!" he spurs on his team.
Still afloat, Marnarius takes and arrow and dips it in one of the vials at his belt. He draws careful aim and lets loose. This one's for me.
5' step while flying, Move action to apply Deathblade Poison, DC 10 Fly check to keep afloat. Standard action to shoot at Zey.

Seeing Aram Zey without any body doubles next to her to protect him - and feeling her mystic focus start to leave her Joliryn decides to go all or nothing.
She focuses all of her energies into one powerful strike, channeling inner focus, magical power and her prowess with a blade..all in one.

Last round, the wizard took a step south, with Joliryn following using Step Up
Fort: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23
The experiment covers the wizard in shivers, as Marnarius misses his shot.
Adam Zey has been keeping track of all the party members - it seems he can see Shohiraj rather well.
Joliryn then sends a jolt of electricity coursing through the wizard, who jitters and shocks as the arcane energy surges through him.
The dragon, perceptive as ever, starts a full flurry of attacks. He manages to hit the wizard twice, though he seems to be protected by a stony barrier of sorts.

Can you actually trip someone who's flying? I'm going to get up if I'm prone anyway, if he's wearing a weapon and wants to take an AOO with it I'll just trust in my images
Joliryn focuses on her inner strength some more in order to keep Aram Zey having difficulty focusing on his spell casting (again picking the resistance - fire from the focus options)
(going to use step up if he moves away, concentration checks to cast defensively still at +6 when adjacent to me)
and get's ready to slash at Aram Zey once more if he tries to cast a spell

Marnarius, the Vengeful |

No, no, no! thinks Marnarius as he watches both the woman topple to the ground.
Wanting to keep the pressure up on the wizard, Marnarius drops his bow and pulls the flail from his belt, while he flies up to the melee.
Drop bow as free action, draw flail as free action. Move and standard attack, with Power Attack.

Ugh!

The Experiment, 322 |

322 flies forward until she hovers over the balcony. She seems to be giggling all the way.
"Wheeee!"
It doesn't seem like Aram Zey is armed and can threaten, so 322 isn't casting defensively.
She tries to touch the Master of Scrolls.
Touch Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
Inflict Serious Wounds: 3d8 + 7 ⇒ (4, 3, 6) + 7 = 20
"Tag! You're it! Heehee!"
She giggles some more, as if she just understood a joke whispered to her ear.

DM Kludde |

Marnarius swings a bit too eagerly at the wizard, and misses as Aram Zey avoid the sharp blade. He does move right into the arms of the experiment, who - equally eagerly - drain the life from the wizard. Gazer then moves in to grab a tight hold of the spellcaster.

Marnarius, the Vengeful |

Gazwyr, I think something went wrong with the dice roll for your pin.
Marnarius starts cackling with bottled-up emotion as he sees that the wizard is slowly losing ground and going down. He swings his flail at the helpless man again and again. "DIE!"
Full attack, with Studied Target and Power Attack. Extra sneak attack damage rolled separately, in case Gazwyr's Pin goes through.

Pin: 1d20 + 10 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 10 + 5 = 20
Zurnzal scratches the wizard as the dragon moves to pin. With the wizard in the confined position he is in, Marnarius has an easy time stabbing the wizard, once... twice... until the limp, lifeless body lies on the balcony in a puddle of blood.
A silver trail emerges from him as the life leaks from him, and when he finally bleeds out, it leaves him like a wisp of smoke swirling up from and extinguished candle. It changes direction and moves toward the experiment - and into her pocket.
Now is maybe a good moment to give me the PFS# you want to apply this chronicle to
The sky key is in the middle of the room, surrounded by a glass cube, a whitish circle, and a velvet rope.

The Experiment, 322 |

"Whispy, whispy! Can't let you escape. Not yet."
The Experiment taps her pocket and giggles.
"No escape just yet." She giggles. "That was fun!" She quickly spins in midair.
"What do we do about the sky key?"

Marnarius, the Vengeful |

Marnarius breathes out deeply, finally finding some rest. He noticed the trail of smoke leading to the Experiment and asks her "Was that his soul you captured, to prevent the Pathfinders raising him from the dead? Clever..."
He looks around the group, deciding on a course of action. "We'll stick to the original plan. Grab the Sky Key and get out of here. The army from the Tapestry should have made enough noise to cover our escape, I think. Shohiraj, will you check the pedestal for any surprises?"
-Posted with Wayfinder

The Experiment, 322 |

"Pathfinders will have to find me first if they want Aram Zey back!" She giggles. "And I'm good at hide n seek!"
She pulls out a wand and uses it to close the Vengeful's wounds.
Cure Moderate Wounds: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (1, 4) + 3 = 8 pffft

Joliryn nods
"Let's take the Skykey and make a run for it before some more Pathfinders show up to interfere with our plans"
"I'm a bit hurt from that flame attack and could use healing if you have some to spare"

DM Kludde |

The rope is mundane, and is seems the circle was meant to keep something in rather than out.
As the agents break the circle, the middle of the room is transformed into a temporal vortex, with time accelerating and decelerating seemingly at random. Smashing the glass makes the effect worse, the green sky key glowing and irradiation the room with temporal instability.
Grabbing the key, the party makes it way out, until they are greeted by a group in the corridor. There's a brief standoff, until one of the group flashes an Aspis badge, nods at Marnarius and says. Well done, team. It's now five fingers till oath day.
Well done team, the chaos is complete. I will now report and create chronicles, while you gloat over the defeat of the pathfinder society.
Don't forget to list the pfs# that you want to apply the chronicle to (it's a level 6-8 chronicle)

DM Kludde |

I've got a set of chronicles here(link).
I still need PFS extensions for Baerlie, Jelani, and Jakblitz - I'll update the chronicles as I get them
