"Ghouls are truly horrific creatures. Fortunately, the Everlight has seen fit to bless me with the power to cleanse undeath from the land. I suspect that we shall fare better with Her blessing on our side. How was it that your group was almost wiped out by ghouls?"

I heard someone load a crossbow....I didn't think there would be anyone here...perhaps this is the source of the sound? Maybe we should call out to them?

"Good idea. Hey you! Who are you? Show yourself!"

"Please put the weapon down, we mean you no harm! We are here on a quest from a nearby village. Let's try to settle this peacefully."

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10 ffs, both of my PBP characters rolled diplomacy and they both rolled terribly XD

The ghouls ambushed us in some catacombs, we were looking for a missing girl, they paralyzed most of the group but myself and the kitsune rogue. It was not pretty but between her blade and my sling we were able to defeat them.

"Lies! You are them! The moving bones! You took my sister and now are back for me! Well i wont let you!" He rants and raves through the door.

The color drains a little from Lilianna's face, "Your sister is in here too? We must help her! How can we prove to you that we are alive? Be quick about it, we don't have time to waste with somebody hiding behind a door when another is in danger! Let alone your very own sister!"

The warpriest, aghast at what is transpiring says If the boy is lost and his sister is missing, I do not think that this is the best way to keep further violence from taking place.

The "boy" is letting his fear guide him, any simpleton can recognize undead from the living. He needs to calm down and explain the situation before he harm's the only people who can fix this

This small chamber is mostly empty, save for the body of a villager sprawled in the center.

There is also a beetle in the room that hisses and attacks!

Slade moves into the room drawing his weapon to slash at the beetle.

Everyone scores good hits on the beetle and Slade then walks up and finishes the beast. You continue on.

The remains of a small fire smolder in the center of this broad chamber, letting a plume of oily smoke. Fed by a heap of burning gear, debris, and more than few bones, the fire casts a flickering light across the walls of this room, partially obscured by the veil of smoke.

All of you take a -2 on attack rolls and perception checks in this room due to all the smoke. With that in mind Perception checks please.
