The secret door looks clean so Xakon opens it and looks inside. Gray webbing fills this chamber. Huge cocoons of spider silk hang suspended in the webs, and the webs crawl with countless hundreds of pale little spiders. As a few moments pass, the tiny arachnids begin to become agitated, with some of them dropping on the floor. Another stone door stands near the northwest corner.

Mudk's blow against the swarm smashes a few of the spiders, but does nothing to break up the mass. Swarms composed of Diminutive creatures are immune to weapon damage

Jirah moves into the room and casts Burning Hands over the swarm, killing off a number of the tiny arachnids but not enough to end the swarm threat.

Moving to the source of the most blood, the swarm advances towards the door where Mudk and Frēodwēn stand. The two Pathfinder then find themselves covered in hungry, poisonous baby spiders. Mudk and Freod take 4 damage from the swarm. They also need to make a DC 11 Fort save vs. Distraction or be nauseated for 1 round, and a DC 11 Fort save vs. Poison. The swarm is currently over them and the two squares to the right of them, I placed the spider icon below them on the map so that the player's can see their icons.

Lol I knew about the zero damage but figured if I couldn't really do anything then Mudk should stay in character and think he could.

Mudk's eyes go a bit wide as the swarm sweeps over him. "They are every where... they are in my eyes.... this this is perfect! THEY EVEN BITE! Eaten by a million spiders! That's almost as good a death as demons. OUCH! Stop that! "

Excellent catch, Sugarsnap. I had missed that Xakon didn't roll a full die. To expedite things, I'll do that now.

Xakon's alchemist fire damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6

Xakon tosses another alchemist fire at the swarm and the majority of the spiders are consumed by the flames. The arachnids are defeated, but Mudk and Frēodwēn received minor burns from the splash. Mudk and Frēodwēn take 1 damage from the alchemist fire.

You can keep your acid flask, Sugar.

Inside he sees that this large room has a wide hole in the center of its floor. A heavy, welded steel ladder descends straight down from the lip of this shaft. The extent and depth of the space below are concealed behind the many crisscrossing, whitish-gray spider webs filling the pit. It's difficult to say for certain with all the webs, but it appears that the other two doors out of the room are propped open as well, at least far enough to allow a moon spider to slip in and out.

Due to the webs, the entire room is difficult terrain. You'll need to clear out the webs around the ladder if you wish to access it.

Mudk moves into the room, polearm ready, while Frēodwēn waits for the situation to unfold before committing himself to action.

Out of the mists crawl two moon spiders, one adjacent to Xakon, the other next to Mudk. The both try to bite the respective Pathfinders, but neither succeeds.

With visibility down to 5 feet, you'll need to be adjacent to the enemies to attack unless you have a good idea of their location. If adjacent, there's a 20% miss chance, while if you have a strong grasp of their location you can attack from a distance with a 50% miss chance.

Withdraw out of the room! We are hindered in this sticky mess!

Xakon slashes at the moon spider, injuring it slightly, then tumbles back by Truffles.

Frēodwēn blindly fires an arrow into the area indicated by Xakon, but no one is close enough to see if it hits or not.
