The Black Crow |
The Black Crow moves up and begins to play.
Move 30', raging song - inspired rage.
GM Aerondor |
As whips don't threaten Janira is not technically in melee with the Mintoaur. And 15' away means you wouldn't have the penalty anyway.
Theo, Stonelance and Gildaref pepper the minotaur with missile fire. The crow splits out a great riff on his axe.

"Hang in there, you halfling beauty! We're coming!" Mouser yells as he double times it toward the log over the river.

The Black Crow |
The Black Crow continues to play, leaping across the river with a split-leg power riff jump as he makes his way to check on the halfling.
Forric Glakrilgun |
Forric moves towards the log.
GM Aerondor |
The long range assault on the Minotaur continues and the huge creature staggers to it's knees, defeated.
Janira looks impressed with you all.
"That was amazing. And for a group just out on their confirmation too. " she gushes.
"But enough of minotaurs, tell me, what did you learn of the caverns and the gillmen?"
Theophilus Flink |
Well, the caves used to be a holy spot to Aroden. They've got some old carvings on the wall, we've got some rubbings of those, and a big old sculpted city at the heart of the temple. We talked to a Holy Gillman, and he said that he was here to venerate Aroden and take in the sacred waters, Ears has the notes on that. Someone with a better sense of the divine or whatever should definitely take a look, 'cause even with Aroden being dead as a doornail, Ears was able to make something happen. Maybe it was just magic, I dunno.
Actually, once it's a little more safeish, it might not be a bad place to direct some pilgrims and tourists. We've got some really old carvings, a great sculpted city - we should set it up as a shrine, or at least lease it out to someone else!

"The writings on the wall were faded but appear to be related to prays of Aroden. The one I recognized was that of the soldier bring light to the darkness." "By casting light on a stone and putting it in the city replica, we all felt a strange magical affect."
The Black Crow |
"That dead gillmen smell just as bad as any other dead thing? Oh, and that cave fungi can give you a bad itch? Which reminds me, do you mind taking a look at this?" asks the Black Crow.
Mouser Lowhill |
"That was really amazing what you did, Janira!" Mouser says. "Maybe next time I can lead the minotaur away, though! Glad you are okay!"
GM Aerondor |
Janira looks at the rash. "That looks nasty, I'm not sure there is anything I can do about it."
Ahh yes, the disease. We still need to resolve that. May as well give me a set of fortitude saves. It is DC 16, each failure (apart from the first) costs you 1d2 STR and more importantly 1 CON.
Of course you will be back in Absalom well before you die even if you roll badly, but then it is a matter of deciding if you want to spend the coin on a cure disease. Unless you actually die from it, you will recover all the ability points before your next scenario.

Fair enough. Let's see where this goes :)
Fort Save 1: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Fort Save 2: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
Fort Save 3: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Fort Save 4: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Fort Save 5: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
