Ta dah, first three saves that are failed by four or less you make!
I don't think guidance or resistance will really help in this, as the save represents the body recovery over a day, so it would need to be a long duration spell.
Now, if you leant one of them your cloak, that would be another matter entirely.

Lets just get this over with...
Fort, Day 2, Selena's Heal: 1d20 + 5 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 5 + 4 = 15
Fort, Day 3: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Hey! That ain't so bad!
Also, did we find Lubor's gold? And if so, return it to the girl or keep it for beer money?
Stepping out of the boat, the tired-looking Jal shakes his head and smirks at Shungur's nonchalance. Then he hikes his thumb at the unconscious pirate captain. "You might want to ask these two what they've her up to over the last day or so."
Not wanting to spend a second longer than necessary in Aspis territory, and feeling the effects of the ghouls infection wearing on him, Jal seems ready to hit the road back to Absolom.
Brother Tophor |
Fort | Day 2: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 Con 9, dex 13
Fort | Day 3: 1d20 + 3 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 3 + 5 = 19 Plus Selena's Heal w/Guidance (12+1)
Fort | Day 4: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Gah! That was close. I'll probably opt for a day of rest, if it looks like this will go much further.
Tophor plods along with Jal, the toll of the fever heavy on him.

Unfortunately much of Lubors gold has sunk to the bottom of the harbor with the Fang itself.
The two harbor guards take your statements, the pirates and whatever evidence you feel like providing and let you know that they have had word about Lubor now. Within a few days you notice some extra figures swinging in the wind at the entrance to the town.
All done, chronicles are now up!
I'll give you a day to check them over and then report the game.
