Aye, I'm here as well.
Colt Bastola |
Why did I join the Society? Same reason everyone else does, I suppose. To see new sights, to explore the past and the present, to avoid those you owe money.... You know, the standard reasons.
Colt is ready to go.
Lu Goodeye |
Why is Colt missing a hit point and a Grit point. Did he wing himself on the gates into the Grand Lodge?

Where Luiselle comes from:
Her brother, Komas, was the elected leader of a bandit gang operating along the Sellen River, between Sevenarches and Pitax. On her 18th birthday, Luiselle joined her brother's rough band, as a scout (during raids on the river caravans) and bookkeeper (when the gang would off-load their goods in towns). (Both of Lu's parents had passed away some years before.)
Eventually, the Hellknights of Fort Inevitable had had enough of the gang's work, and tracked down Komas and Lu's grandfather, a retired bandit and mercenary named Tillas. The signifiers of the Order of the Gate offered Tillas a boon if he would help fence some modest goods, and he agreed. The boon, though, was the embrace of the archdevil Moloch. As the Hellknights hoped, Tillas received the gifts of Moloch. As they hoped, his frail form could not endure the strain, and so his chest ruptured and he breathed his last. As they expected, the benefices passed down to Tillas' blood heir. The Hellknights were sure that the drastic downsides to Moloch's gifts would break Komas's ability to lead his raiders. But they did not expect that the gifts would skip over Komas and instead rise up in Lu.
Now, Lu is an Ifrit, and Moloch has bestowed upon her the gifts of an Oracle of Metal, and the curse of tongues. Her days of being an effective brigand in her brother's gang -- well, in Komas' gang, his brotherhood with her is now in question -- are over.
Her goals:
To find her place in the world. She took a short-term job with the Pathfinder Society, helping to recover loot from a band of goblins not far from the Hellknights' fortress, and that seemed to offer her a way to use her new-found powers.
Her reasons for joining the Pathfinder Society:
She's not all that confident in her ability to open the seals on a long-forgotten tomb, map its rooms and expose its secrets. She can't write stirring text. But she can guard the "real" Pathfinder agents, the archaeologists and historians, the members with artistic talents and a gift for writing. Not much on "exploring," Lu can make sure everybody gets out alive to "report."
Altus Einziger |
Party make-up is:
Slayer, Cleric, Psychic, Gunslinger, Ranger/Oracle, and what I bring? I was going to bring the attached Brawler because I thought we had a bard. I think it would be more fitting for me to bring my investigator, so I will put him up on the boards tonight.
Amenhotep of Wati |
Just so there are no nasty surprises later due to false assumptions...
Anubis is a negative-energy-channeling cleric, who specialises in daze-locking opponents with his channels, whilst the rest of the party takes them apart.
You have been warned ;-)

Heofthehills, play what you think would make for a fun party member. Off-kilter parties are sometimes the most fun to play. A Brawler, a Slayer, a Ranger, a Gunslinger -- hell's little teacups, we have enough muscle to raid a caravan on the way to the job and Lu would feel right at home.
Besides: my character already thinks she's just going to be working as a bodyguard for the "real Pathfinders". If it turns out that she'll have to pitch in and actually do some of the exploring and investigation, that'll be a chance for her to grow into the job of being a Pathfinder.

So, game has started - if you haven't already, please check in on the gameplay thread HERE.

That's a no on all accounts for me as well
Pangu Blackbourne |
Pan is here instead of Altus. I need to double check his numbers, but I didn't want to step on toes with skills if we had a bard. Not having one, I'll roll with this guy.
Lamplighter, I did play this this weekend, but I had a 9 month old in my lap and played the thug-iest of thug characters, so I didn't really get much from it except the fights, to be honest (very unlike me, but had to let the wife enjoy).
I own the scenario, but have not read it yet...I might have by the end.
Human Investigator with the Helpful Halfling trait. He has 2 scenarios played!

Just a note about availability. I'll be attending the Midwinter Gaming Convention in Milwaukee this weekend, and my internet access will be limited. I'll certainly check in before I leave Thursday morning, and after I get back Monday, but I don't know why my access (or free time, for that matter) will look like in between.

So, I have used your avatars for your PC tokens unless you didn't have one, in which case I just picked one. You can move your tokens around, but please still describe your movement in your post. Also, please don't move anything else around. There is a zoom tool you can use to make things bigger. If anyone has trouble with the map, let me know.
