I have been having dreams, nightmares really. I want you to do a reading on me. Welcome to my Rise of the Runelords PbP. This is my first time running a game not of my own design. Word on the street is this is the best one, so let’s put that sentiment to the test shall we. I will be modifying this game from its original in minor ways since it is so popular and many have played it. No Maps in my PbPs, I use a theater of mind method, feel free to look into my history to see my past games and determine if they are the types of games you will enjoy. I use different aliases to add a little extra to the game.
I need five Mythic characters A Keep(Guardian Mythic Path), A Juggler(Trickster), A Vision(Archmage), An Owl(Heirophant) and A Liar(Marshall). Players are free to choose whatever Mythic flaw they wish. Moment of Ascension is Fated your character was born under the above mentioned sign. I will choose my characters on Friday the 8th.

I would be very interested, how would you like me to apply? I'm new on this site and have no idea how anything works!
No problem I am sure others have simular questions. To apply simply create an alias of your character much the same way you made the one you are using now. Edit the profile to include stats ect. Some people find it easy to do a character sheet on a program like hero labs and then copy and past or something along those lines. To see your sheet then all I have to do is click on your picture. I have some finished characters in my aliases you can look at by clicking my picture than going into aliases.

How are you planning on us gaining Mythic Tiers?
So do we start with MT1 or MT0?
And you do realize most of the trials favor Min-Maxing or Lucky Rolls right?

You have ascended. Mythic Tier 1 from your ascension as it says in the playtest. I do not realize anything yet as this is a play test and we will find out what it favors as we play the game. Gaining tiers is not easy, nor is it guaranteed. Hero points can help make certain rolls though, so it may not be as daunting as you make it out to be.
One of the Trials Requires you to deal 50+ Damage on a single Attack Rolls Damage.
I tried the Playtest. Got to Tier 2 then quit as it requires you to build the Mythic Concept into the Quests.

I am thinking about a human Oracle going for hierophant.
So after derping about for a bit, I realized that here, I have a nice champion monk already built with 20-point-buy and a mythic tier. A bit added in to explain his presence in Sandpoint, et voila! I hope you enjoy, and any critiques are wholeheartedly welcome!
As a note: this character has the Death from Above feat which I took specifically because the GM I was under when constructing Avizzi said it would be allowed to couple that feat with the Aerial Assault mythic path ability. If you'd rather not have those two couple together, I'll change the feat for something else.

Ok well it looks like I have Avizzi, Tarkin, Isorion and Sir Manfred who is not yet finished. I can go with 4 and after I review your characters I will come up with a fifth to complement you all, since the way I have this written I really intended to have one of each of those mythic classes. If I missed anyone please post a full submission with profile updated by tonight to be considered.

It looks like Sir Manfred and Avizzi both wanted the Keep position. Will one of you choose the Liar or the Juggler instead? I can see a monk fitting into the Juggler spot, but I know you had some feat combo you wanted to try. I will allow either of you time to reconstruct your characters if need be.

Mythic is a free playtest put out by Pazio, you can find it on this website just enter Mythic in the website search I am sure you will find it.
Any Classes except Gunslinger from Pazio are welcome.
The Liar is basicly a face like a bard ect. I had one person drop out so I will look over everyone and resubmit what is taken ect.

I like to start out with a combat so that everyone is familiar with how I do it and if they have any questions they can post them in the discussion after while we role play the first official part of the campaign. I have included a bit more fluff to the beginning chapter so combat might be a while coming otherwise.

Tunder recently finished his apprenticeship as a Foe-Killer. He's come to Sandpoint to settle with some kin. The little frontier town is known to have goblin problems and, lately there's word of giants in the area. This is better than the Janderhoff Mountains where he'd have competition for the killing the things.
If accepted, I can make any needed changes quickly.
