I'm willing to practice for a few days in a more private setting, and I agree that groups of three is sensible, if we are working as 6 or more. That said I'm not quite ready to quit the Drum, not all the players assembled have introduced themselves. At the least, there's that absolutely suspiciously normal looking gentleman at the table over there.

I wanted to mention - with no pressure on the GM - the main reason I've been hesitant to commit my character to you guys is because I've got some mechanical issues I'm waiting on the GM to finagle out.

Mostly, I've got a few questions about the things I've chosen - some of which I can dump or alter without issue - some might significantly impact how I interact with you all in the upcoming conversation.

That said, I'm also not opposed to retooling in between (or even during!) scenes, as it were, as mysterious forces are at work in my character's past that even he is unaware of...

Mostly, I was just being cautious and trying not to be presumptive or trip up my fellow players. :)

(If we're waiting to detail most of what we can do, that'll actually work a fair bit better, as my guy wouldn't have to worry about trying to "prove" himself or "show off" as it were...)

So I was getting some writer's block about my character's backstory, so I turned to the random tables on the PFSRD (found here), and I think I may have had a little too much fun. It is a great resource for anyone that is struggling with backstory like I was at a few points. I have some great ideas about what my character's past can contain, now. However, it does play a lot with the nobility and setting, and makes assumptions about laws and things. I used a lot of the ideas, and I smoothed out some space with my own extrapolations as well. I'll give you a rundown. Prepare for wall of text: Instead I used spoiler blocks. Yay formatting!

Family and Status:

So, Lady K (thanks for the moniker, Lady F! :) ) is the daughter of a Countess (who is a widow), she's got an older half-sister (half as in another father, not half-race), and older sister, and a younger brother. She is the third of four children, and the second in line for her mother's position. The family is well-to-do and relatively powerful.

Major Life Events:

Major life events:
Academy Training: She was sent to a prestigious academy to train as a magus (being the second child in line she was given combat training to defend her siblings and her house honor and property, as is tradition) She did well, approaching the top of her class and earning her family honor and impressing many influential people (Everybody wants an excellent magus on their side, after all) She made friends and enemies with the other girls from the other families (the school was segregated by gender).

Troubled First Love: While at the academy, she became friends with the valedictorian of her year, one of the princesses of the royal family. Through this connection, she was introduced to the princess's brother, a prince. A brief adolescent romance later, and things were going well, although they knew they would have to push things through with their families first. And then it all blew up.

It all blew up:

Imprisoned: She wasn't the only one who wanted that boy. Not by a long shot. Other girls wanted the option, and she was able to rebuff most of them. One, however, started to make her life miserable. A daughter of another countess, wizard by training, she was a jealous rival for the prince's affections. The competition got super-heated, and one day they crossed paths in the marketplace. A mere handful of sharp words later, and both girls were full on aggravated assault-ing each other in the street. Numerous hands from both families were involved in the fight as well. The city guard broke it up, but not before some hideous fighting and scratching and two wardrobe malfunctions (Lady K's was not so severe, just a torn off skirt, but the other girl lost her blouse well and good) along with a ridiculous amount of property damage. The city guard arrested everyone involved, and Lady K's mother thought it a good idea to leave Kelendia in prison for a while. It was better than the other girl, who was basically banished from London to some far away family estate, never to be seen again.

Aggravated Assault (with unauthorized use of magic), Property Damage (several stalls, lots of produce, numerous cages of poultry, a cart of goats, and one incredibly clever circus orangutan that escaped captivity and remains at large to this day), Lost Wages (several dozen merchants were essentially ruined), Disturbance of the King's Public (it was a festival day), the criminal record went on. Yikes. On top of that, London is basically ten million bards rolled up into a city. Do you know what that is like? "The ballad of milk and honey" (Lady K's own yellow panties, and her opponent's white skin), "Do you hear the day owls?" (K and the other girl were wordlessly screeching by the end of the fight), and the entirely unsubtle "I saw noble ladies' undergarments! Twice! And it got better!" (I don't need to explain that one) were among the most popular songs, plays, poems, bawdy tales, and other reputation-apocalypse heard around London for the next seventeen days, until some duke or other was caught with a barmaid. (It's Bardic London. Scandals aplenty! :P )

From the Ashes:

It was actually the time in prison that did Lady K some good. Circumstances were humble. A personal cell, not separated from other criminals except by wrought iron bars, a bookshelf with books, a toiletry area with actual closing door, daily renditions of the newest shameful bard-work from the other prisoners, and a single mattress with cushion for sleeping. Her prison name was Honey. She does not like that name. Her mother had also stripped her of her claim to the family name and fortune (hence it's just Lady K, with no family name) until "she has proven herself worth keeping" in the eyes of her mother. Her aunt, a much more lenient woman, took Lady K under the wing, and that started with tutoring visits in prison. (When you are noble enough, even prison is different) Kelendia, for the first time, got training in subterfuge and deceit. Her Aunt (not nearly so upstanding as her Countess mother) saw to it that Kelendia could take up the arts of subtlety, something that her straightforward combat training as a magi had neglected in the extreme. Her Aunt also loans out clothes and other small bribes to get Kelendia to carry on with the new lessons, and to keep the girl out of rags.

Her first work was in prison, talking and manipulating the other prisoners, making connections. Her Aunt, with a little "elbow grease" (read: bribes) got Kelendia out of prison on parole after 3 months, and Kelendia was glad to be out. Her Aunt continued the wheel-and-deal education, and Kelendia was always a good student. Her Aunt kept her combat training up as well, but this time with less reputable teachers, in alleyways instead of courtyards. The societal functions are a step down now, but that comes part and parcel with being a disgrace to the family. She has learned to control her temper wonderfully, as well.

Lady Kelendia today:

This is where we find Kelendia today, skilled and ambitious and controlled, but humbled and mocked and mistrusted by the nobility. She has gone several months without blowing it, and she still dreams of her prince, even though he might as well be on the moon. The odds of just getting back in her mother's good graces seems slim ("I cannot believe you had a shot at a prince! And! You! Failed!"), never mind the royal family's. On a plus note, it seems like she will make it through her parole intact, which would be good. She does get out and do community service, and she has gotten along with the city guards who check her parole. The easygoing, friendly Lady Kelendia is thought better of now, although the hard part will be building back up her reputation, and keeping her cool every time someone asks her "So, does the carpet still match the drapes?" (She's a natural blonde, and it's becoming less frequent)

So, GM, did I run all over the setting? I did do some research on yester-centuries London, and I think I dodged the anachronistic bullet. If this is too much, I can trim or fill in or whatever.

So, players? What would you know of Kelendia? You've heard the songs no doubt. Were you another noble at the magic academy? Were you a criminal in prison with her? Did you catch a glimpse of the honey when it happened? I am going to how on over to the RP thread and post an entrance, so read up and then respond here and over there, please!

And as an aside, does anyone know how I would go about getting the face of the Magus from the class page on the D20pfsrd onto the avatar options here? That image was one of the things that sold me on the magus class, elven pointy ears aside. Let's just pretend those aren't there.

The Original Source describes it as a commission for a third party publisher, so Paizo might not have the "rights" to use it as an avatar. I didn't see it taking a look through by magus or female elf, and I assume you did some searching as well. :-/

@Unfinished character - Honestly, since party composition and such isn't really up to us I wouldn't worry overly much about exactly what the characters mechanics looks like just yet. Just come over and enjoy the fun =)

Hahah! No problem. Works for me! :D (Love your character, by the way! XD)

EDIT 2: Flawless, Sir Vir, that was masterful. XD

EDIT: catching up now...
Rae: yes, let's say we absolutely know each other! Could be fun character connections, and it's a great net to slowly entwine "Norman" into these events so far, in spite of himself. :D

I saw all the rolling in the "supposedly not ready" thread and got a little bit of cold feet. Seemed like a lot of people were ready for specific rolls, whereas my sense motive and stuff is not set in stone yet. I'll just post and ignore numbers for now. Cheers for finally getting in! I don't know where my original intro post went, but I guess it's for the best. You didn't want to read about noblewoman fashion when there is a murder on, right?

Incidentally, it should be noted that I stole everyone's gifs and youtube links.

Adding one of my own. Nice job, shadow-guy. :D

I made a pretty severe formatting error (and a writing one) in this Norm post.

Might not be a good idea to continue that style in the future, if I'm prone to that sort of thing. Here's the corrected post.

Norm wrote:

Norm stands, tucking his new note - that he'd have to analyze for clues later - into his shirt pocket.

He hands his ale to Vir, "F'r th' g'ft..." he mutters softly, to Sir Vir, as he walks over to the others, nodding at the bear-talking woman along the way - he places a coin, and notes, "Ale's good. 'f y' th'nk y' c'n b' 'sef'l, th're's 'n'th'r 'v'r th're." he says, slightly 'inebriated'*, but nodding to the table he's aimed for.

* Perception or Sense Motive DC 24:

He arrives, pulls up an empty chair from an only partially-full table, turns the back to face the others*, and sits.

* DC 15 Sense Motive:
The better for daggers to enter the chair, if you lot turn rough...

He nods at each of them at the table. "Marvelous performance, Lady Qat; well spotted." he says, softly, smirking slightly*.

I'm going to have to admit linguistic defeat. Can you please translate this back into common?

I've ... managed to translate everything else, but that word, has defeated me. I've been wrestling with it for hours...

DC 39? I'll allow myself to be whooshed, I can't hit that on a 20! Though, if I'd actually trained it up, I could have set a bluff that high for certain circumstances. I love having lots of skill points, but I can never, ever, get enough, even with 8 base + a good int + favored + human... I admit I have a problem. Not enough skill points.

Lady K. That ... is surprisingly complex and mufti-dimensional for a mostly randomly rolled background, yet, it flows fairly well. <bookmarks> Though I recall a long night back in college where 8 or so of us rolled up Hackmaster characters (never actually PLAYED but, we made characters! ) All but one ended up having lost a thumb to a monk as part of their back-story.

Hah! Dropping vowels can be tricky, yes!

... ... ... Irori? Or did you once love Songheim, as I do?

Izzy Connection to Norman: 1d100 ⇒ 72 Met on a pilgrimage, caravan, or journey
I don't... I mean I've always been in the city... uh... perhaps stuck in the sewers for a while, maybe, and forced to come up elsewhere?

Qat Connection to Norman: 1d100 ⇒ 32 Former allies
This actually doesn't contradict your already-explained 'first' meeting of me, and indicates we've run into each other on a separate occasion. My initial impression was a little cold and distant for this, but if we were "allies" on a project and didn't know it directly, until, perhaps, after the fact, that could definitely make sense.

Rae Connection to Norman: 1d100 ⇒ 22 Business associates, current or former
This works well with what I've been assuming, and it looks like what you've been assuming, too.

Ruskov Connection to Norman: 1d100 ⇒ 26 Contractor or employer
Yeah, I could see this happening. An alias of mine getting paid for a job, and paying her to do the job for me.

Vir Connection to Norman: 1d100 ⇒ 25 Business associate, current or former
Also makes sense, as, originally, I suspected we may have a similar origin, but moved away when I began to doubt it.

Hm. Interesting indeed.

I kind of like the combination of them. It makes it feel more organic somehow... kind of like combining them - created by choice, and created by chance - just sort of feels more natural. :D

Like how Izzy is both Norman's enemy (in the past), but also met him on a pilgrimage/caravan/journey of some kind. Are those related? Different? What? How? Especially since both of us have stayed in (me) or around (her) London the whole time. The fact that we all have different, double, or triple lives also makes strange combinations more feasible.

I'd suggest we take whatever is generated (if others wish to do so as well) with a grain of salt, and kind of pair away to match 'canon' and each others' roles as much as possible, creating an interesting an organic story that fits much better than something random and feels more organic than something overly-planned.

Further expounding on these previously mentioned possible connections:

Einar Connection to Izzy: 1d100 ⇒ 29 Contractor and employer
I dunno, maybe I hired you to carry something heavy for me down by the docks, or maybe I sailed on a ship you owned once, or... I dunno... I thought we had never met. Maybe this didn't happen. Perhaps one of us somehow did a job for the other through an intermediary, and as such we never saw each other?

Lady K Connection to Izzy: 1d100 ⇒ 38 Former enemies
Izzy probably mistrusts you for your disruptive criminal past, and was involved in helping clean up the collateral damage from your previous messy, violent exhibition.

Norman Connection to Izzy: 1d100 ⇒ 38 Former enemies
I figure Izzy once tried to bust one of your aliases for a crime, but, upon closer investigation, discovered your role to be entirely benevolent, and, as such, has been quietly watching a few of your various aliases with mild amusement for some time now.

Qat Connection to Izzy: 1d100 ⇒ 70 Servants or apprentices to the same master
Hm. Maybe I gave an oratorical performance at the theater where you're a regular actress. Would that count? Or maybe we both had the same singing coach, at different points in time.

Rae Connection to Izzy: 1d100 ⇒ 24 Business associates, current or former
Well, we supposedly haven't interacted directly before, but we are sort of associates on the same line of work, so to speak, known to each other by reputation.

Ruskov Connection to Izzy: 1d100 ⇒ 89 Best friends
I have no idea if this is true, or if Ruskov is even still active in this game. (I hope so!) It seems strange that Izzy wouldn't have gone over to talk to her if this is true, but, I suppose it's possible. Perhaps they had some friendly interaction as fellow orators, or when Izzy helped solve some mystery hurting Ruskov's circus?

Vir Connection to Izzy: 1d100 ⇒ 81 Follow (or followed) the same faith or cult
Okay, being an elf who enjoys spending time among the fey does fit with Vir being a self-styled Champion of the Fae and Fair-folk. Maybe he considers himself her champion, or something, since elves are sort-of-but-not-quite-but-Vir-might-not-know-the-difference fey.

I'm more than willing to give it a go, but I've written myself into a corner a bit, having been in town/on this plane for ~96 hours, and I left the plane I came from vague intentionally to allow some GM input/hook if they desired. Add the fact that I'm fairly young (Though, going back and looking at the race's age templates, too young, I may have to edit that a bit), I wouldn't have the temporal time to meet most of you in too much depth.

Whomever said that this might have worked better at the start, you said it all right :P

But! Still, there are plenty of things that could be worked out...

The Norman Vir connection you proposed seem to hold some weight, given the dice : ) It could be fun to make something out of it in the future !

The Izzy Vir connection does also seem to work out. While I'm not sure of the details, Vir could certainly champion anyone or anything he feels like (the 'fair folk' part is just there so he can follow his whims :P). He can tell the difference between a proper fey and an elf :P

The Einar Vir connection seems logical from my end. But! How the heck did both Stella and Vir manage to piss off Einar across the dimensions ? (Maybe he doesn't like the fey?)

1 person marked this as a favorite.

One thing that I thought of while getting ready for work, is I DO have Fey Taken as a drawback... That could explain ... everything. That said, I have no intention of allowing those dice to force an enmity from my side...

The Fey have had an active hand in my life ... as I also have Fairy Godmother. The enmities might actually be with her, thinking on it. It's not like the fey aren't known for their politics and factions...

That said, despite the ... , major, interferences I currently have no plans to have an enmity with the Fey as a whole.

The Fey is far to amusing to not be on friendly terms with : P

Some of these may not work with K. For about 4 months she's had a nearly terminal case of boring, and since that's something nobody in the gossip circles wants to catch, there has been very little to hear since the scandal. She also been shut in with her aunt for most of that time, too.

You could have met her before the scandal, since she was a academy cadet attached to the city guard. Enemies may have taken a magic missile to the gut in a raid or something. As far as friends go, you could be one of her new criminal friends, or someone with unusual talents she has started looking for. Kelendia's here to save her image, yes, but if she comes out the other side with a few new friends then all the better.

Given that a few people are proposing established relationships with myself I feel that it is only fair to say that I no longer wish to be considered for this game (which also makes this an official withdrawl from the running).

Recent interactions have taken the game away from my preferred style and theme. Rather than complain or attempt to force a change I wanted to fade away without a fuss so that no one would feel self conscious or somehow responsible. That no longer seems feasible at this point.

Those of you who wish to interact or acknowledge Ruskov are welcome to do so as I am still monitoring this game until selections are made. However, outside of someone directly addressing her I will not be making an effort to interject in the current scene as it would not be fair for me to make a bunch of posts without any intention of following through with the game.

Okay. Thanks for letting us know. Cheers!

So, there's a woman talking to a bear among those inside the Mended Drum, but it's chance timing. She has no particular desire to be involved with a group hunting for the murderer.

Essentially.

I would have much rather had this all in one post, spoilering some just because it's either large, or mostly repeated from above. I do not object to anyone reading any of the items.

Vir:

Einar Connection to Qat: 1d100 ⇒ 19
Hunting companions I'm going to over rule this one with an arbitrary -5 > Tavern buddies. Established fact pattern on the record!

Einar Connection to Vir: 1d100 ⇒ 37
Former enemies - Fey Faction's may not always meet eye to eye.

Einar Connection to Stella: 1d100 ⇒ 37
Former enemies - Fey Faction's may not always meet eye to eye.

Vir + Einar: 1d100 ⇒ 55
Reputation only. Makes sense :P - Agreed.

I'm hoping that the Former will work in our favor, and not ruin things down the line.

Einar Connection to Ruskov: 1d100 ⇒ 56
Former inmates (prison, asylum, or captivity) or former inmate and captor
- Given that I had no apparent recognition ... I think it needs more salt.

Einar Connection to Sergej: 1d100 ⇒ 21
Business associates, current or former

I can't reconcile these results with my prior lack of recognition but ... I'm willing to try and work with anything you can come up with. Sorry to see you go Ruskov!

Einar Connection to Rae: 1d100 ⇒ 87
Best friends - Current interactions are somewhat to the contrary, but I DID roll better to know more about you than anyone else... Thus far I've skimped on that knowledge, not sure how that actually works logically.

Izzy:

Einar Connection to Izzy: 1d100 ⇒ 1
Family or close as family—close friends, close/distant relatives, relatives by marriage/adoption - O.o

Honestly, I can see a few ways to work this:

Related result: Unlikely, but might work if you related back a couple generations, or an aunt, so you Might know a few of my relations, but that I'd have no idea. My story that works in my head, is that I was spirited away by the Fey at a very young age, either from London, or from the family that raised me on that other world where I just came from, and returned (or deposited) me to that family group. Possibly a Oops? Where did we steal this baby from again? Oh! There's a family of Maenad's!

Contractor result: I could see either of us hiring the other for a brief stint in the last couple days except for my 14 K Local. Perhaps you were hiring some muscle for something? Labor of carrying something seems easy and most likely, some nonchalant thuggery seems a little out of your character, but something I'm good at. Perhaps your work needed back up when you went up against something? Or you needed someone protected while you were elsewhere?

I'm OK with any of those. Most likely if we met, if at all, for only a few minutes.

Einar Connection to Norm: 1d100 ⇒ 14
Tavern buddies - Makes sense as an alias/tactic you may have used to get my measure.

Einar Connection to Lady K: 1d100 ⇒ 79
Veterans of a skirmish or war - Given your request for a boring last 4 months, I'm going to go with no contact, you might have witnessed a brawl, or been the cause of one! And/or I might have heard the songs: Knowledge Local, Lady K: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13 Going with: Nope, all the references will be over my head.

Lady K has been attached to the city guard. She may have been on patrol when you got into a little drunk scuffle or somesuch. Nothing exciting like a full blown bar fight or anything. This would be good, because it puts both of them in roughly the same boat: the rough-around-the-edges type, with varying gold amounts in the heart.

Sounds like plan, though, thinking over why I'm not drinking, I'm going to have to go with I interfered in a scuffle in progress, trying to help shut it down. If it was large enough, I'd certainly not remember too many of those involved.

With that said, this would mean you know that I CAN fight, but I'm far from say Vir's league, though those I fought seemed to have a lot more trouble than you expected.

(Minor edits abound on my last two posts)

Sorry to see you go, Ruskov! Take care, and great gaming! (I loved your character concept... good luck!)

Qat Connection to Izzy: 1d100 ⇒ 70 Servants or apprentices to the same master

Not unless Izzy was in Minkai, Golarian at some point. Since coming to this dimension, Qat has been a free agent. Could have had the same employer, however.

I got a very good Knowledge (Local) roll on Norman, so I was roleplaying it as if Qat had been asked to try to identify Norman for one of the underground folks Qat occasionally does jobs for. But this would work better I think. Perhaps his disguise was too good this evening and Qat didn't recognize him at first. I'd rather have her knowing someone like him from another context, so she doesn't have to be as suspicious of him.

Vir wrote:

Best Friends !

I like the backstory that emerged from the roleplay better, although they might be friends. I doubt best friends. Qat might be best friends with Stella, however, given her connection to Fey from her earlier escape from slavery with their help.

I'll roll a Knowledge (Local) for Lady Kelendia. Knowledge (Local): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24

If she has a criminal background, then there are all sorts of ways to account for such a good roll. Qat sometimes does jobs that involve spying or stealing, but she tries to only use her powers in ways that don't hurt innocent people, for what it's worth.

Yeah. Vir doesn't really feel like the type she would call 'best friend' :P

The Stella part sounds good - and I like what we have in the RP thread so far, so we might just treat that dice roll as perhaps a hint of things to come ?

Nice Qat! I'm too braindead tired to try and keep the momentum going atm, will try to post something in the morning before being out of town all day tomorrow.

No rush.

@GM: Any idea how long before you decide on which characters will be in the official game? I'm having fun with the interactions and it's a great way to find out not only the content of the PCs skills and abilities, but also the players' styles and roleplaying skills.

But there are a decent number of characters in the mix now, so I'm interested in either moving on to the campaign proper or focusing on other games.

Most likely will be decided by tomorrow or Monday, not ENTIRELY certain. Might be fairly early, but I did add a week to the recruitment time.

Hah! ... sorry. I'm getting a little invested into "bluffing through linguistics", I think. XD

I'll translate:

Norman! wrote:
Looking at Einar, he grins inebriated and slurs, "N'h, n' h'rd f'l'ns, 't 'll, g'y!"

That should read,

Norman for the masses! wrote:
Looking at Einar, he grins inebriated and slurs, "Nah, no hard feelings, at all, guy!"

Sorry for the missing "g" - that would help, even though he doesn't pronounce the "g"... hm... might have to tweak his accent a bit more.

... and...

Norman part two! wrote:
Looking and nodding widely at first Qat, then Lady Kalindra, he adds, "M' n'ts! B'st f'sh'rm'n 'r'nd h'r'!" he thumbs at himself.

Hope that helps!

I also reeeeeeaaaaaaaalllllyyyyy need to translate my character sheet into Rae's super-awesome format... sigh. I also just need time.

(In case it's not obvious, I long for a ring of sustenance plus keep watch in real life... also time stop and haste and simulacrum - of myself. It's the only way to get all the things done that I want to...)

I completely understand. Thank you for translating the four little words. It's the little ones that become stumbling blocks. The longer words have enough filler to work out what you actually wrote.

Politics more so, as magic is ridiculously common. Backstabbery and suggestions are extremely common- As such, Outsiders (Not to be confused with the type) are HIGHLY valued in politics- They can wreck havoc with Bardic Performances and magic, with their ability to destroy the Primal magic that they face. Outsiders are paid hand-over-fist to work with politicians.

As a resault, however, people don’t rely on police officers that frequently- They tend to worry about the police officer being enchanted, and, generally, you’re more likely to see Watch Groups of every citizen in a district working to deal with crime themselves. There’s generally about a 1:20 rich person to poverty ratio- Most people aren’t in COMPLETE poverty, generally living in houses built around working together- If somewhat uncomfortably. Houses are generally fairly packed, but not to bad in London.

Some vigilante justice seems fitting : )

Waaaah!

I was just now reading through the initial recruitment post without looking at the dates or deadlines ('cause I'm smart that way), got super excited about the concept, then actually looked at dates.

So sad right now. This looks like it'll be very cool, have fun.

Thanks for the happy thoughts Viscount K, though, technically, recruitment hasn't closed, we are expecting to hear who made it in at any time now.

If you're up to it, you could try to whip up a character and add them, really quickly! :D

EDIT: to be clear, I'm a fellow player, not the GM! I realized it could look weird if you didn't know!

Still here, still interested...

Yep! Me also!

Gah- Why are all your characters so good... In the end, it was a tough choice, but I'm going to go with the following:

Qat Tzgane
Izzy Carbuncle
Lady Kelendia
Rae Keisinger

My apologies for everyone else who proposed characters (Especially you, Tacticslion). Either way, if you're still there, report to the the Discussion thread.

Can we get a link to that thread? Or is that the discussion thread.

Pile of girls? Well, at least we can focus on the murder instead of the boys.... right, girls?

Good luck, and have fun everyone! :D

As a lurker here, I was really impressed with the efforts everyone made on their PCs. If anyone is interested, especially those who did not make it into this game, I want to invite you to try MY game. I'm looking for players for a combat intensive game in which each player has to use one of 12 prestige classes that I have designed.

Game Name: Race For The Classy Crown – A PrC Playtest Challenge

Dungeon Master: Cayzle, of Cayzle’s Wemic Site, cayzle@cayzle.com

Edition/Setting: Pathfinder Roleplay Game, using base classes from the Core Rules and the Advanced Players Guide (APG) (except no Alchemists). No prestige classes except those from my book, no base classes from other sources. We will be using traits, hero points, and the dirty fighting options from the APG. Other Paizo-published sourcebooks can probably be used for most rules except classes and races; please check if you are unsure.

Brief description: You are contestants in the 277th running of the Games of Prestige & Class! Up to 12 champions compete for reknown as they race to see who can defeat vicious enemies and pass horriffic challenges to win the prestigious Classy Crown. In this three-day challenge, on the first day you compete alone, on the second, in small groups, and on the third, as one large group.

Character Creation: 22 point buy method for Ability Scores. PC Level 12.
