Axton Vendian wrote: Later, when Umazura is saying her goodbyes...
Umazura Fallensong wrote: "And Axton dear, never remove the creature that resides above that top lip of yours. I think it gives you special powers." She winks, grinning wryly. Axton gives his mustache a few exaggerated twitches for Umazura's benefit before grinning and offering his hand to shake.
"Goodbye, Umazura. I hope all is well with your family."
Raising an eyebrow at the offered hand, "A 'handshake'? Really?" Umazura grins, shaking her head. She then leans in and gives him a soft kiss on the cheek before leaning back out. Placing a hand on the side of his face and smiling, "You are a funny man, Axton dear."
And with that, Umazura turns and takes her leave, taking one more last look back as she walks away, a sad grin upon her face before vanishing out of sight.

Elathras Narcinal wrote: Seeing the dwarf approach from the corner of his eye, Elathras turns and watched the interaction. Realizing Umazura had been 'called home' he wonders how he'd respond if his aunt or the 'hellknights' sent word for him to return. He realizes he'd be required to do so, but as he watched his friend say goodbye, he knew he'd not want to leave. As she nod's, bidding them goodbye, not really sure what possessed him, the usually stoic Elathras steps forwards and hugs the half orc, telling her, "Fair thee well Umazura Fallensong."
Realizing he'd just hugged her Elathras steps back and nods to the woman.
Smiling softly, Umazura returns the stoic knight's hug with her own. She gives him a pleasant nod in return.

Elena Neidhardt wrote:
Elena stands back at the unexpected interplay between the dwarf and her friend, growing increasingly worried as their talk went on. ”’Alorel’? Who is she? Is everything all right?” She asks Umazura. ”Uma…? Can we help in some way?” She offers, though the point is soon moot as the skald insists on departing on her own.
"She is my mother. And I hope so, Elena. I truly hope so," she responds, but the concern upon her face is obvious.
Elena Neidhardt wrote: ”You’re… leaving? I- but- I don’t know what to say. This is so sudden. Will we… ever see you again? I-” she manages, looking quite crestfallen. Tears begin to form and she quickly wipes them away – teams changed all the time among Pathfinders, she told herself. This was normal. But this was her first real team on a real mission. That made it special – like losing something special. More specifically -one of her best friends, which the half-orc was. As her eyes well up, she brushes off a lone tear that manages to escape and find its way down her cheek. "I would be angry if you didn't, Elena," she says softly, grinning .
Umazura wrote: ”Keep them alive.” Elena Neidhardt wrote: She envelops the other woman in a fierce hug. ”I will. Please take care of yourself! And don’t be a stranger. When all this is done, we’ll celebrate together, all right? And you can write down the entire story yourself!” Returning her hug with equal fervor, "It's a deal," she states assuredly, nodding emphatically.
Elena Neidhardt wrote: Before she leaves:
”Uma, can I ask you something before you go? If this next piece is somewhere below this city, there will likely be a lot of undead and golems on the way. Can I… borrow Silverfang in case we need it?”
Retrieving the blade, she offers it to her in a horizontal fashion, the hilt laying upon one hand and the blade upon the other. "Of course, Elena dear. Use it well," she says, smiling.

Reading the letter with a great deal of urgency, she folds it back up, stores it in her pack, and then turns to the others. "All, forgive me, but I must take my leave. I've got to return to home. Some family issues have arisen and I must see to them right away. It's been a pleasure working with you all."
Looking to the two warriors, "Barak and Elathras, continue to let no enemies stand in your way as you've been doing. No one does it better." She nods, smiling.
"Elena, keep them alive and keep up with your drawings. They are well done." She compliments, still smiling.
"And Axton dear, never remove the creature that resides above that top lip of yours. I think it gives you special powers." She winks, grinning wryly.
She then cuts her attention over to his mighty rat friend. Leaning in, she whispers just loud enough for any to hear. "As for you, Intrepid, continue to be the real power behind the mighty Axton. We all know it's you." She rises and throws another wink toward Axton.
She then quickly hands over whatever she believes to be essential for the group from her pack. "I think that's everything."
Sighing, "Well, just so you know, when things have settled down, there will definitely be numerous tales of this fine group and all you've accomplished. Once again, I am sorry. Peace be with you all. I would say 'farewell' but I don't really like farewells. So how about, 'Until we meet again', hm?" Smiling, she sighs heavily and listens to any parting words from the others before nodding and taking her leave.
She takes one more last look back as she walks away, a sad grin upon her face before vanishing out of sight.

Umazura, falling directly upon her keister, takes a deep breath, collects herself, crosses her legs, and calmly remains where she is while spinning another tale of a great barbarian and his mighty deeds who went by the mighty name of...
Wait... I know I know it. The T-800! *thinks a moment* Yeah, no, that's not it. My bad. I'm pretty sure it was Eraser. No! Wait! Running Man! Gah! I think that's wrong too. Umm... Commando? Something with a 'Co'... CONAN! That's right. Conan. Okay, back to the story...
Conan.

Umazura goes into a tale that is surely nothing more than pure fantasy. A story about a halfling who winds up saving Golarion by simply throwing a ring into a volcano. I mean, seriously, who is going to believe that one?

"Hmmm, yes, I would agree, Elathras. That corrupted piece of nature is called a trendiculos. I would use...," she halts in mid-sentence, just about to explain the best way to stop it as Axton launches a blast of fire at it. "Yes, that works. And bludgeoning weapons. Also, avoid contact with it. If it hits you, it may very well paralyze you. And then swallow you whole. You've been warned," she states matter-of-factly.

Okay, where ARE we supposed to land? I've NO idea what area we are supposed to be landing in. Do we put ourselves inside the place? Because it looks like that's the only place we can put ourselves. I just flat out don't know.
I would say, whatever area MAKES SENSE for us to land in is where we should be. Otherwise, do we land in A10? A15? A14? Or is it A7/8/9/11?

He taps the wand to himself and flies up while the others are experiencing the joy of repeated hauling their bodies in the opposite direction of gravity.
Lol!
Grinning wryly, she calmly reaches up and grabs him by the end of his pants leg before he gets too high up. "One second there, flyboy. Be a dear and grant me some of that flying ability, would you, please?"
If he does, Umazura will fly up after the others. Never having flown before, she raises an eyebrow. "Interesting. You know, I wonder if flying, statistically speaking of course, could turn out to be the most safest means of travel? Something to ponder."

So I will take 10 on that last one for 26. :)
Studying the words carefully before looking to the statues, "Ah. Okay. Well, the writing says: "She who desires to ascend the Lady's Light must first deign to embrace the Lady and the Lie." Which, I would guess, would mean we must embrace a pair of statues. Lovely. More embracing," she states flatly before sighing.
"Anyway, let me commence with telling you who each statue represents." She then points to each statue as she does. "That statue there is Xanderghul: Runelord of Pride. That one is Karzoug: Runelord of Greed. That one is Belimarius: Runelord of Envy. That one is Krune: Runelord of Sloth, and the last one is Zutha, Runelord of Gluttony."

Crap. I totally missed that. My bad.
Eyes going wide as she remembers what this creature is, "It's a Seugathi! And a fiendish version at that! Careful of its bite, it is poisonous. Also, be sure to use slashing or piercing weapons as it is resistant to bludgeoning. Do not bother with mind-affecting magic or poison against it either, those also are useless. And the wand is not necessary for it to heal itself, this creature heals itself all on its own. It doesn't need the wand. Although, the wand helps out at even greater rate, obviously."
Looking over at Axton, "You'll be glad to know, dear Axton, that it is NOT immune to fire." She informs him, grinning ever so slightly.
Fast healing 5; DR 10/slashing or piercing; Immune to mind-affecting and poison. Good thing we don't have to worry about being "Confused". It has Confusion Command. This thing gets to CHOOSE which state we would be in instead of us rolling for it. It also has an Aura of Madness but that also leads to being confused for 1 round but I guess that's not an issue for now.
