Round 4

Gunther materializes another arrow, but instead of putting it to his bow, he attempts to stab one of the goatmen in the eye with it. His attack goes wide, however, as he tries not to overextend himself.

Gunther attacks Goatman 4 with an arrow, fighting defensively (standard action).

Round 3

Goivan stealthily steps over to the prone Big Goat leader. Unfortunately it isn't a 5' step, since this is difficult terrain. You would not be able to take your second attack and gore.

He slams one end of his axe down on the leader. Lightning crackles and he aims for a particularly vulnerably spot. His axe sinks into the leaders side who bleats loudly at the force of the blow.

Round 4
Prar invokes his healing power, excluding some of the goatlings, but catching a few in his healing. His heals buy the group a little respite hopefully as they fight for their lives.

Champawat fighting defensively focuses on staying alive and her attacks come up short against her foes.

Qahnaarin spins his spear about, and clips the legs of both of his intended targets, creating a ring of fallen foes all around him.

Gunther, also trying to stay alive, tries to stab a goat with a pointy arrow, the desperate attack fails to do much other than prove that he is still a threat.

The goatlings rise from their feet as one, and attempt to target Qahnaarin. Qahnaarin takes advantage of their moves and his quick reflexes. Also, I assume when you take an AoO against someone rising from prone, that you still get the +4 vs their prone AC, since your AoO can interupt their action, meaning they have not completed it, meaning they are not yet standing. I could not find clarification, but if anyone knows of any links discussing, I would be happy. For now, I added the +4 bonus.

Goivan you can take an AoO vs the Big Goat. Prar you get one against 7 or 10. Gunther you get one against Goatling 2

Big Goat two handed heavy mace against Qahnaarin AC 26: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 6 + 1 = 15 - miss

Goatling 10 broken shortspear against Flanked Qahnaarin AC 26: 1d20 + 4 + 2 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 4 + 2 + 1 - 2 = 13 - miss

Goatlings 1, 2, 3 and 4 continue to put the pressure on Gunther, surrounding him and whittling away, all of them fresh or barely wounded. He fights defensively, but it is only a matter of time....

Goatling 2 short spear damage to Gunther: 1d6 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 2 + 1 = 6

One of the goatlings comes in hard with its horns, catching Gunther square in the side of the head, the hard headed goat slams into Gunther, sending him reeling, as another goatling stabs him with his spear. The grey dwarf drops to the ground. As the dwarf drops, everal of the goatlings take a 5' step closer to the others, closing the gap.

Goatling 9 attacks Champawat

Don't forget you take a penalty on your stabilize check equal to your negative HP. Not that I want you to die, but it adds some urgency to your plight.

Round 4
Goivan whirls his axe about and slams it into the leader hard. Electricity crackles and the gash leaves a massive wound. The force of it drives the axes in deep. The leader gurgles a death cry and collapses, its hair smoking from the electrical current. The leader dies. You spin and direct your axe against the battle goat nearby, the attack misses, but you are able to thrust your sharp horns into the creature, hitting hard, the little goat bleats in pain as the headbutt batters it. You have a bite too, not sure if you don't take it for RP reasons or what, just reminding.

Round 5
Prar pauses for a moment, standing there, and within seconds the goatlings are reeling. A wave of something hits Goatlings 1, 2, 3, 4 and 10 ( and technically Gunther too, but hes unconscious ).

Sensing a shift in the tide of battle, Qahnaarin tries to find a better position.

Withdraw action. I move one space SE, which triggers no AoO. I then move two spaces S. With the difficult terrain, and moving at half speed to lower the Acrobatics difficulty, that is my entire movement. I should end my turn two spaces S of Prar.

You can use all your natural attacks with your manufactured weapons except for your claws since you have to hold your weapons with those hands. All your natural attacks are at -5 though because they are treated as secondary weapons. If you took the multiattack feat, they would only be at -2. So you can use your axe/axe, bite, gore as a full round, with the aforementioned penalties. Also secondary natural attacks only do half strength bonus damage, like your offhand axe.

Round 5
Qahnaarin withdraws (full round action - I guess you can use acrobatics, not sure, we'll say its legit for now.) He successfully flips around Prar effectively avoiding an attack from Goatling 7. He manages to tumble and vault down the rocky shoreline to safety from the combat.

Gunther lies there bleeding a bit more.

No, not on natural weapons. Double slice only affects damage rolls with your offhand weapon. A natural attack is never an offhand weapon, it is either a primary or secondary natural attack. There may be other feats like dragon style that accomplish that, but are part of a tree.

You can use one to grant you a +8 luck bonus to a roll, used before you roll. +4 if you it after, which is dumb on the forums since you can always preview what your rolls will be. Basically you will know if you fail even with the +8 and not bother wasting it, unless you are just like super honest about stuff heh.

Goivan brings his axe down mightly on the wounded Goatling, it splits his skull in have in a disgusting mess, lightning arcs down the goatling's body as its convulses and dies.

Goivan follows up by slamming his horns into the battle goat, and then savagely biting it, roaring like a wild beast. The small goat, succumbs to the vicious savagery and passes out, blood everywhere. It's missing an eye.

I have him dead in my notes too, must have forgotten to update the map. You stabbed him the face when he tried to trip you. They need you prone to hit you easier ;)

Thanks for the update. Oh, if only I had Whirlwind Attack, this would be the perfect round.

Qahnaarin changes tactics as the goatlings press him. "Too close for spears. Switch to unarmed." He attempts to sweep the legs of two of them.

I just realized that I have been ignoring a very important quality of my branched spear. "When you make attacks of opportunity provoked by movement, you gain a +2 bonus on attack rolls." It would have been useful earlier. :S

Round 7

Goivan moves up to engage the goatlings.

Round 8
Prar stabilize DC 10: 1d20 + 2 - 3 ⇒ (5) + 2 - 3 = 4 - fail, -1 hp

Prar and Champawat continue to bleed out. Gunther is stable.

Qahnaarin flurries again and his spear sends two more goatlings crashing to the ground.

Goatling 5, with a broken spear and critically wounded, steps 5' back, and Goatling 7 moves 5' in to flank Qahnaarin with Goatling 10. They make coordinated attacks.

Goivan, I moved you another 5', since the goatling there did a 5' shift away. You step up and drop goatling 10 with your single attack however. This removes a flanker from Qahnaarin and also prevents other goatlings from flanking on the one side.

Does standing count as movement? It requires a move action, and you are technically moving upwards. It is pertinent for weapon bonuses.

Qahnaarin dances back quickly attempting to avoid his attackers blows. It is a daring move considering the challenge of multiple attackers and the terrain.

Prone Goatling 1 AoO, spear vs Qahnaarin AC 26: 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 - 4 = 9 - miss

Nimbly dodging their feeble spear thrusts, Qahnaarin brings his spear down hard on Goatling 1. You wrote flat footed after your attack, I am not sure where that is coming from. He isn't flat footed, but he is prone and you get +4 to attack, but you hit anyhow. His wicked spear jab pierces the prone goatling in the upper chest and blood spurts as he pulls back. The goatling cries in agony, and it moves sluggishly.
