Just to make sure IQ = EDU INT? I don't have Recon, so that would typically be a -3 but with Jack of all Trades 1 that should make it a -2 instead? But since I have no EDU bonus (or penalty!) it's going to end up being a 2d6-2 no matter what?
2d6 - 2 ⇒ (2, 2) - 2 = 2
EDIT: I meant INT, really I did. :) In my case the are both +0.

Ok...I will roll for Charlotte 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (4, 1) + 1 = 6
Suddenly the men who, up to a few seconds ago were simply loitering about, leap into action.
Weapons are drawn from under long coats; armor can be seen as they remove their firearms.
Initiative Order
Marissa
Solomon
Bad Guys
Myrian
Charlotte
Ben
Thad
Marissa and Solomon you are up.
These men seem to be preparing to attack the crowd in a random manner. You also notice 2 of them have carry-on bags slung over their shoulders.
Marissa Ocara
Marissa recalls how her last attempt to defuse a situation with the threat of violence went, and decides to skip the threat and go straight to violence. Pulling her laser pistol from its holster, she takes a shot at one of the bag-carriers.
EnergyPistol+Dex: 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (1, 3) + 3 = 7
Damage: 3d6 + 3 ⇒ (2, 6, 2) + 3 = 13

The beam of light just misses the goon holding the bag, but he certainly saw it, and looks back towards it source! You seem him mouth something, probably into a mic. Suddenly the terrorists all turn to deal with your group.
Each of you will be shot at, so you may attempt to dodge if you want.
Attack on Marissa - 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (6, 3) + 1 = 10
Attack on Solomon (he pulled a body pistol) - 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (2, 3) + 1 = 6
Attack on Myrian - 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (6, 4) + 1 = 11
Attack on Charlotte - 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (2, 5) + 1 = 8
Attack on Ben - 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (6, 1) + 1 = 8
Attack on Thad - 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (5, 3) + 1 = 9
Wow..ok it looks like everyone but Solomon got hit by 1 round.
Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 5) = 8
Subtract armor before applying damage, and it is up top you what stats are hit.
Myrian Sonor
Well, no armour, rulebook says Endurance takes the hit first so that drops to 0, She'll take the rest on Strength, dropping that to 1. Another hit like that will not only drop her, but kill her outright (ouch).
Mentally remembering to get some fashionable low-profile armour for future shopping trips Myrian draws her pistol and tries to find cover (if there's no cover within a move she'll just blast away at them instead).
Benjamin Kas
Ben will dodge down -2 dm to the attack -1 to my skill for this turn and drops my initiative to 3.
Ben drops to his belly behind a low bench, a bullet passing through the space where his head used to be. I really need to learn how to use one of those fire spitters. Ben begins the slow crawl from bench to bench trying to gain a closer position to attack the men.
Thaddeus "Chief" Mora
Having noticed the strange men about the concourse, Chief Mora was about to mention them to his companions when thier attack caught him completely off guard.
Struck in the chest by a hail of slugs, Mora utters an "oof" but does not go down as his clothing absorbs and disperses a considerable amount of energy
8 damage - 5 protection = 3 damage to END.
Once he realized the danger he was in, he jumped into cover. Pulling his own weapon from under his vest, he thought to himself "Well now I wish I'd taken up some of that weapon training the Navy offered, but no I had to squirrel myself away in engineering. Well no help for it now, but I'll have to spend some time on the range...if I survive that is "

Ok, Marissa and Solomon are up...
After the first blast 3 of the terrorists move deeper into the station, leaving 4 behind to 'deal' with you. You can hear alarms going off and many of the small stores and shops along the concourse have heavy metal shutters slam down, protecting the owners, and any shoppers who happen to still be inside. The one man remaining with the carry-on bag, is kneeling down and doing something to something inside the bag.
Charlotte Kimoto
Just FYI, at next opportunity (perhaps after this combat), Charlotte would like to locate any or all of the following: a TL8 flak jacket (300 cr.), a TL8 comm (150 cr.), a TL9 translator program for the comm (50 cr.), a breather mask (150 cr.), a blade (50 cr.), and some extra ammo (50 rounds at 10 cr. each). Total cost is 1200 cr.

Hits!! you removed his arm at the shoulder!!
The bright beam leaps from Marissa's pistol and strikes the man fiddling with the bag. He falls to the ground, his arm still in the bag, but no longer attached to the rest of his body!
Not to be outdone, Solomon draws his sword and skewers one of the gunmen it the stomach, taking him out of the fight as well.
From further in the terminal you suddenly hear a muffled explosion, then the lights go out and the water sprinklers come on. You also hear heavy doors sealing off this terminal.
In the strobe of the emergency lights, you can see the last 2 terrorists trying to make it to the bag with their friends arm still sticking out. One gets of a quick shot (2d6 - 2 ⇒ (1, 6) - 2 = 5) but misses everyone.
Ok, everyone who has not gone this round gets a turn...take -2 due to the environmental conditions.
Benjamin Kas
Ben continues his long crawl through the darkened room. Suddenly he pops up mere meters away from the assailants, blade glinting oddly in the red hue of the emergency lights strobe. "I am Benjamin Kas, a man should know who killed him before he dies." Benjamin brings his blade around towards the head of the man who is still firing on his friends.
Sneak: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 1) = 5
Attack: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (2, 5) + 2 = 9
Damage: 4d6 + 1 ⇒ (2, 6, 5, 5) + 1 = 19
Well I guess they knew I was there before I popped up, just too busy firing at the known threats.
Thaddeus "Chief" Mora
Sry guys, crazy couple of days
Chief Mora peeks around a chair, amazed to see Ben leaping through the haze to engage the terrorist with his sword.
With a shake of his head he thinks He's no too much younger than I and look at him....don't get any delusions Mora, that's not your game."
Not trusting his untrained shooting skills at the moment, Mora instead raises to a crouch and moves to different cover closer to the action.

Solomon disables the final rebel with a quick stab to the gut. The bags both contain explosive devices, neither of which were armed. In a few minutes the blast doors open and a squad of local paramilitary troops enters. You are detained until they can get your statements. You are each allowed 1 'phone' call. It looks like you might be held for some time unless you can convince these people you are either under the command of a higher institution, or someone in their own command structure can vouch for you.
You may call 1 contact, if you wish, to try and get out free of this mess and on to your actual job
